This was a gift and the recipient was very happy to receive them. We cannot answer most of the questions.

This was the third set of these pajama's that I purchased and still like them for the comfort and material. I had noticed previous pairs had shrunk to fit me just about right after laundering. So this time I measured them when new out of the package and then after the first cold water wash followed by a delicate-low tumble dry. This is for a size medium and here is what I found: When new BEFORE laundering: Inseam 30", Sleeve length neck trim to cuff 31.5", Back length neck trim to bottom hem 28", and Width seam-to-seam measured lying flat 22". Then AFTER the laundering describe above: Inseam 27.5", Sleeve length 29", Back length 27" and Width 21.5". Therefore, they shrink a lot in length (pants inseam and sleeve length) but not much in width. As stated the post-laundering size still fits me okay but the short pants and sleeves may be a problem for normally taller people.

Super Soft! Loved the color, feel, comfort, warmth, cozy and makes it hard to get out of pj's! But, something has happened that has concerned me. I've only worn the set twice and have washed them, uh-oh the shirt has begun to shrink length wise, it's become much shorter - what happened here is what I'm now thinking? I was so enjoying this set, that I planned on buying another for myself plus one for my wife - hold on now I'm having to rethink. Could this be a occurrence in this particular piece of fabric - either way there is a part of me that is disappointed. LL Bean do you have any suggestions or thoughts to why the shirt has shrunk upwards after 2 washes, I could see after owning the jammies and washing them 39 times. But 2 times - ouchie :( I still love them but now must wear a long tshirt underneath the shirt - rats! And it fits somewhat large in the pants (long).

These are super soft and comfy. The top fits as I would expect but the pants are much longer than I was expecting. I normally wear a 30" inseam and these feel more like a 32" inseam or longer. I'll have to hem them so that I don't constantly trip over them.

I bought the the XL for my son who is 6'3" 225 lbs. They fit perfect, but after washing they shrunk about 3 inches in the pants and top. They are very comfortable and I read the reviews about the shrinking but didn't think it would be that much. For this price point I won't buy these again.

They shrink even when washed in cold. Disappointed

Bought these for my husband. Soft and well made. They do shrink if you dry in the dryer, so I bought a size larger. He loves them!

Fit true to size but were simply too heavy for warm summers in N. Carolina

This is the second pair of Men's Organic Cotton Pajama Set (Medium) I purchased. The first pair - which I still wear, started to pull apart on the inner seams and had to be sewn. Also, the first pair (medium as well) had pant legs so long they had to be hemmed. The new pair had pants that were perfect length (true to size). These pajamas are extremely comfortable but they are essentially nothing more than tee-shirt cotton, which I feel is why they are way overpriced.

Too big for the size we purchased! We want large size but it looks like extra large!

Feels nice. Shirt is a little short and pants are too long.

The pants were a little long and baggy even though he is 6 Ft tall. My hubby had to wear an undershirt under the pjs. since it was not warm enough. The set is very soft which is a bonus. Overall a nice looking pj set.

Nice and soft. Super comfortable and relaxed fit. I really liked these pajamas when I tried them on... before washing. The shirt was a touch long (which I like) and the pants fell perfectly over my slippers to hide my socks. After washing, the sleeves of the shirt were close to being too short and the pants became flood worthy. Too bad they don't make this in Tall-Medium size. Nice and soft, roomy cut, but now the pants look too short.

The PJ's are great feeling and look good. One big issue. I ordered a small size . The waist size was much too tight. Probably for a 28-30 inch waist. I had to stretch the waist with a board for about a week to get it to fit my 32-33 inch waist.

Sleeves shrink in the dryer, as does the rest of the pajamas. Disappointing

Top is soft & comfy, but pants are very baggy and legs ride up in bed. I am reasonably slender, would appreciate less baggy pants, suggest elastic or similar at ankles.

I bought this for my husband. He wears an extra large everywhere he shops so I didn't think twice when buying him an extra large here. The pants and shirt were both swimming on him. It looked like it would fit a guy 6" taller and 40 lbs heavier and my husband is a pretty big guy as it is.

Comfortable. But horrid cut and fit after first wash. Fit well for a medium stature (5'10) out of the package. Everything vertically shrunk 2-3 inches after first wash - no dryer even. And become a top ending at the exact waistline and pants that might have well been capris. Highly NOT recommended for those that need their sizes to remain a proper size and cut.

Elastic waistband is 1.25 inches vertical, noticed that right away. The bottom does not appear it shrank. The top shrank, it is right at the waistband. If hands are raised skin is open to the cold air. Material is nice and soft but in my opinion for the price it should be pre-shrunk or LLBean should know exactly how much it should shrink and size it accordingly.

Washed in warm water and dried in the dryer on low heat. When I took them out I couldn't believe how much they shrunk!

These PJs are very comfortable and fit well UNTIL the first washing. Even though they were washed in cold water the 100% cotton pj's still shrunk. The most noticeable shrinkage was in the length of the shirt. The bottom of the shirt now barely reaches the waistband of the pants. Considering returning them.

Nice quality but don't wash it! Bottoms shrank 4 inches in the length and the top shrank 2 inches in the sleeves. Unfortunately It's not offered in a tall size, if it was it would compensate for the shrinkage.

Significant shrinking on first and subsequent machine washings (cold water)
