When I washed and dried these the fuzz factor was crazy. Fuzz got all over all the other clothes in the washer and the dryer was completely full of fuzz. They felt amazing, but what a mess.

They're nice pajamas. They're soft, and feel really great on, but they're sooooo ridiculously oversized it takes away from the overall quality of the set. I would like them to be loose fitting but this takes that to the next extreme. The idea has merit..... but like so many LL Bean products if you aren't a particularly stout male its not so good for you.

These are fine for sleeping or lounging around by yourself. Not so fine if you want to wear them while entertaining a guest of the oppostie sex.

We have bought many pairs of these pj's in the past and they were the best! This pair fit poorly- more like clothing than pj's. My husband always wears a small, and these were way too tight. Also, the flannel seems to be much thinner and poorer quality than in the past.

Beautiful color and comfortable material. However, the short fiber cotton used to make these pajamas resulted in excessive "pilling" when laundered according to the manufacturers tag instructions "Machine wash warm with like colors". Everything else in the laundry load was covered in blue-black pills. Successive loads were'nt as bad but also were not pill free. I dry them hung on line oudoors. At this price point, I'd expected better.

I have been buying these pajamas for many years and don't like the recent changes. The waist tie-cord is just a nuisance when the bottoms have a good elastic band. I'll cut off the tie-cord. The bottoms have two side pockets, which are unnecessary. I feel that you have added features that just run up the price, but add nothing of value. The extra button is sewn into the back seam on the bottoms. This is not a comfortable place to put a spare button.

These are comfortable but have washed them seven times and they still are shedding lint. You leave a trail when you walk with the little lint pieces falling off. Hope by the time they quit shedding they will have come cloth left. Am disappointed with the quality of the flannel.

Warmth and comfort fine. Top fits well. Bottoms are four inches too long and waist is too tight. I would need to be 6' 2" and 160 for them to fit. The stomach I am working on but I am not going to be taller.

I've come to expect better fabric than this from LL Bean; the seams barely leave a selvage, making the fit is correspondingly snug. Am returning.

The PJs are warm but they are creating black pills which come off on sheets, floor, other closes and please don't wash them with any other clothes as they will be covered in little black pills of the flannel.

Royal Stewart tartan is too muted. There is a women's flannel shirt in the catalog that is much more vibrant.
The pajamas are generously sized. The pants are the baggiest sleep pants I've ever owned. The construction looks good. The fabric is soft. Like many flannel garments, this throws off a lot of lint the first few washings. No noticeable shrink.
Would I recommend? If you're ok with a loose fit and the price, sure.

had to spend $14 to shorten legs, which were about 33-34". Comfy

My husband was very pleased with these pajamas when they were new, however I just washed them for the cooler season and he is complaining of considerable shrinkage. Even the length of the arms are much shorter. They have only been worn 2 winter seasons. I do have proof of purchase and hope to be able to return them.

The product and material looked and felt very nice but I ordered the same size I have for the shirts and the pajamas were actually cut noticeably SMALLER, especially through the chest and upper arms. So much so that they the top was tight and restricting (even though the regular shirt size fits well) and I had to return the item. This miscue was magnified by the fact that one generally expects pajamas to be cut larger and feel looser than regular shirts. The item was returned and not replaced.

Flannel material is good quality, soft, great for PJ's. However, although the bottoms fit fine, the top was way too small. LLBean could not exchange top for larger size since they were sold as a set and my husband had already started wearing the pj pants. So beware... and try on both before wearing either!

The product description says 100% cotton. I have too much of synthetic lint after the first wash and other laundry items covered in fine fibers to tell that it is clearly a blend. I am returning it and hope to get full refund including shipping. Otherwise it is well made pajamas if you do not care about fabric quality.

Plugged my dryer filter with black lint and left black particles on my other clothing. Also, legs were four inches too long. I would not buy again.

certainly not for short and stubby, will have to have legs and arms tailored. Belly band seems excessive. For some reason I'm having a problem with itchy legs. Third washing may be the charm.

I have to echo other reviewers' issues with lint. I must also state that I generally love LLBean products and have numerous Bean pjs, which have been excellent. Not these. I just washed the Macbeth tartan on delicate cycle by themselves. The washer was full of soggy lint. I put them into the drier, on low heat, also delicate cycle. I could not believe the amount of dark blue lint trapped by the screen. I have never seen that much lint at one time, ever. At this rate, there won't be any fabric left after two more washings. I had hoped to add the Kilgour pattern to my collection, but not after this experience.

Ordered medium size as most of my clothes. Way too big. Returned for small size. Top fine, comfy. Nice fabric. Bottom: Legs much too long; must be folded up into big cuffs which are gone after 1 night's sleep; waist much too small -- almost impossible to put on, especially to tuck in the top.

The pattern is the great one I've loved for years but the fabric quality is sad, heart-breaking; so thin; neither quality nor warmth that I had expected. Won't order them again.

The pajamas looked OK but were more of am XL than L. It cost me $6.50 to send them back. Never going to buy LL Bean again.

The good news, soft fabric as expected; the bad news, construction with irritable scratchy tag and spare button located inexplicably just below the waist in the rear.
