I have always purchased XL pajamas. But ai am short. I assumed the legs would be shorter but the rest would be typical XL. It turns out the entire garment is changed in proportion and doesn't fit well at all. I feel I have wasted my money.

The crotch seem came undone and the first wear. I sewed it myself rather than exchange both the pants and shirts. Fabric is nice but I wonder how long these pajamas will last.

I have bought several pair over the years and was excited about getting new ones. However these are thinner than my older pairs and aren't as comfy. They no longer are the special high quality product that I bought before and expect when buying from LL Bean.. The price is high for what these are. However I'd pay more to to be able to have the high quality cozy pjs back.

Returned item due to pant length too long, by 1-2 inches!

Attractive but much too large even using the standard size guide. Had to take them to a local tailor to have them shortened.

I have purchased this same item a couple of years earlier -it seems this latest version is not as thick a flannel as the older edition and the sizing is also different -the current medium has pant legs that are exceptionally longer than older addition - simply not same material or sizing

I purchased these for my husband for Christmas and subsequently ordered another pair because he finds them cozy to wear around the house. The fabric quality is questionable. I predict that these won't last more than a season or two without tearing somewhere due to the loose weave and excessive shedding when washing, which will thin out the fabric over time. On a positive note, the fabric appears to have been pre-washed before garment construction as the pajamas do not shrink when washed. I was stunned that the front facings weren't sewn down as one would expect for a garment at this price point. The front facings flip out after a wash, making it challenging to button the buttons and making the top look sloppy. I sewed down the facings from the shoulder to the hemline to alleviate this issue. I shouldn't have needed to do this at this price point. I've been an LLBean customer for many years and am concerned about the decline in quality. I expect more from LLBean.

Plaid PJ's are thin material but very comfortable. Very long but some shrinkage in washing.

I bought these back in Nov. 2020 and bought them because they didn't have this grey plaid in the women's options. Because of having a great experience with the women's flannel pajamas from the previous year, I assumed this would be the same experience. Sadly, L.L. Bean either changed their sourcing on flannel material altogether or the women's option have a much better quality of material. The pilling that took place on these men's flannel pajamas are honestly inexcusable for the cost. Probably only good for the first 2-3 washes and then scratchy after that because of the increasing pilling. For this lack of comfort, I may as well purchase flannel pajamas back at JCPenney and save on money for the same experience. Really sad for L.L. Bean.

The waste band is much too tight and inelastic for sleepwear.

The size Large Gray Stewart pants of the pajama set were smallish in the waist. The waist was big enough stretched out, but the elastic in the waist was cut too short and chafed. So I bought a separate XL gray Stewart pant. On the XL pant the waist and the elastic was cut properly and so it was too big for me, but the drawstring could make up the difference. Otherwise a very nice cozy flannel pajama set.

My husband loves the color--bright yellow plaid for winter days, but the fabric is so light weight. Even after washing (I hoped they fluff up) they were thin. He decided to keep them for summer PJ's.

First, the good: The fabric feels great and the pants are excellent. Now, the not so good. I don't love the top. The collar is cut too low to retain warmth, and the design of the sleeves limits mobility. In retrospect, I wish I had ordered just the pants. I'll probably wear a sweatshirt with them.

These are not as nice as some flannel pajamas that I have, but they're not bad. For me, the fit is a little off: sleeves are a little long and legs are a tad short. One of the main things I don't like about these PJs is that there are only 4 buttons, i.e., no top button at the neck. As a result, my upper chest isn't covered, which is ok for summer PJs but doesn't work so well when it's cold.

Double L should offer to trim the leg length of these one-size-fits-all.

Seemed to be of ok quality but the material was thin. I expected heavier material for $79. Very over priced.

Great comfortable and cozy pajamas, EXCEPT that the seams of the fabric behind the buttons and button holes on the pj's top is not sewn down on both sides for some reason. As a result, the white fabric in back of these flaps often does not lie flat and makes the top look and feel kind of disheveled.
