Thick comfortable cotton, elastic waistband on the pants along with a tie-belt, pockets on the pants, good length on the bottoms. I wish the pockets were a little deeper. And after the first few washings they dropped little cotton balls all over my house - maybe prewashing the material would be a good idea? This is my 3rd set and I would buy them a 4th time.

Ordered for my 90 YO dad so not sure of his exact size. The PJs fit but the arms & legs were way too long and needed to be altered. The fabric is thick and cozy and retains it's shape after laundering.

I bought matching PJs for myself and my husband. I also have the bathrobe of the same fabric. We wore them and liked them very much. Only problem - I washed all three together in a dark load of clothes. After the dry cycle, my filter was choked with fluff and the clothes all had little fibers all over them. The PJs don't seem to be badly affected. We have not worn them again yet.

Quality pj's. Terrible fit...too big. Ordered mens and women's large pj's and both were huge! Ordered women's large matching robe and it fit perfect. Returned both pairs of pj's for exchange no have not heard from you.

I will have to put in a button snap. Some men get cold at the neckline. Need a top button!!!

Not quite as warm as I expected, but comfortable. I do miss the LL Bean nightshirts.

Very soft and comfortable. True to size, I bought the tall and there is length to spare. Fuzz/lint is an issue. We washed them once and after getting fuzz all over we are washing them again. I like these pj's but I'll return if the lint issue persist.

Washing and drying produces a lot of lint. Still generating lint after several weekly washings.

It is becoming increasingly difficult to buy clothing online. Since I do not see a need to layer under the pajamas, I ordered large, which my chest size and waste size would seem to dictate. For instance, with a 38" waist it is common to make the finished legs at least 32". My legs are about 29 inches. Thus, in order to make the product fit properly I will have to spend additional money to modify the arms and legs to proper lengths. I can remember a time not so long ago that it was very uncommon to find clothes that were sized to fit to the nearest inch in all measurements for a proper fit. It is a shame that is no longer the case. I would return them but they are very comfortable and appropriately warm. I have no desire to return them. I like the colors, although I think a few of the plaids are not correctly identified.

I am always an XL. However, my XL order was much too large. Returned them and ordered L, which fit perfectly - Not too small at all. These are very nice pajamas. Haven't washed them yet, but very soft and comfortable.

My husband is always cold and these PJ's are just right for him. Washes well, does lose a lot of fuzz everytime though when dried, so check your dryer filter often.

Love these pj s. But wish I could get them as separates, top and bottom because they needed to be hemmed again.

I've several brands of PJ's; in comparison some details are apparent: no top button (Beans has four buttons, others have 6, including one at the collar); no cloth loop (normally on the back inside collar for hanging on a hook); front folds are turned and loose (not hemmed). After twice laundrying (normal warm washings but instead of a low heat tumble dry I used a regular setting) the quality of the cotton flannel seems like new; wonderfully warm, soft and not wrinkly.

I bought these pj's for winter nights wear. They are very warm and comfortable. The material is substantial. The top is rather poorly designed (around the collar area), but the bottoms are just about perfect. I wear them every cold night. If the top gets redesigned, I'll probably get a second pair.

At 70+ I now have problems staying warm in bed even in S. Ca. These flannel PJs are thick & very soft & warm.

This is the second pair of pajamas like this I have bought for my husband. I decided this time to have them monogrammed with his initials. They looked great, however, the backing used on the monogram did not dissolve as was stated in the instructions. I called customer service and she said to cut away most of it that I could, but I still couldn't get to all the backing behind the initials. So far, the backing has not bothered him, but they should adjust the instructions to include that the backing may not come off as indicated. The customer service rep offered to replace them for me, but since the backing has not bothered him yet, I doubt I will do that. I'm not sure what was used for the backing, but it was doubled, whatever it was.

These pajamas fit well and are extremely warm and comfortable.

LIKE THE NEW DESIGN WHICH SEEMS TO HAVE A LITTLE THICKER FABRIC AND WITH POCKETS. WOULD LOVE MORE CHOICE IN CLASSIC PATTERNS AND COLORS.

These are very soft and cosy, and my husband was very grateful that I bought him another pair !

The pajamas are warm and comfortable. But they can be a little tight at times; they should be cut more loosely to allow more freedom of movement. Also, hanging loops would be a nice touch.

These Pajamas are fine in every regard and I would have given them an excellent rating except neither the top or the bottom has a locker loop for hanging on the back of the closet door. I think this is a really odd omission considering LL Bean usually thinks of everything.

Bought this for my 93 yr old Dad last year and just bought it again. He loves these pjs and many days wears them all day. Keeps him toasty as he is always cold after heart surgery a few years back. The only thing is that the waist band has sewn in elastic waistband ( and drawstring) was too tight for him so I took out 5" of elastic on each side and he is super comfortable. Thanks LL Bean I'm sure I will be purchasing again. FYI make sure you wash & dry separately at least 3 times when you get them as they shed like crazy and will get on your other clothes. After that soft & perfect.

Overall, I love my pajamas, but I tried them on (before washing) and there is a hole in one of the pockets of the pants. Easy enough for me to mend, and not worth the hassle of returning. But, since I ordered two other items as gifts, and had them gift boxed at the factory, I'm concerned that there might be some slight defect that I will not be able to detect before giving them to my friends. Granted, not the worst problem I have, and if it were just my pair, I wouldn't have even mentioned it. But since this review form was sent to me, and I am concerned about the other two gift items, I decided to mention it. Worth mentioning, that I also have several other L.L. Bean pajamas and robes that I've had for twenty or more years, and there is no issue with any of them.
