I initially thought the robe would be lined with Terry cloth and for post shower wear. It was not. But I am not disappointed. It is a wonderful robe.

Perfect robe for northern winters. Glad I ordered XL and not the XXL Tall the site recommended. I'm 6'1" 250 and robe is not snug at all and is mid-calf in length.

I wear 'large' so that's what I ordered, but this is huge and I am swimming in it. But I'm not going anywhere in it, so who cares? And it's great on cold mornings

Bought three of these. One for my husband, one for our brother-in-law and one for our son-in-law. All of them are thrilled with this robe. As other reviewers have mentioned, it does run a bit on the large size, but that's good as far as these guys are concerned. They can wrap up in their robes and walk outside for the newspaper. My husband was not a robe-wearer until now, and he doesn't want to take it off!
