The robe runs quite large.. A medium is too large for the average man. That said, the robe is comfy and warm.

got a fleece robe a few years back warm an light , did not get what I expected , saying that it is warm a little heavier than what I was looking , but can live with it the wife is warm , she uses it more than what I do ,will order a different color for X mas,

The sleeves are a bit longer than I expected, and the hood is a bit larger than I expected, however this is a minimal slight against the overall product. Great quality robe.

Very warm and comfortable but super long

My third LL Bean robe (have fleece and flannel lined rugby). This is A LOT lighter and feels a couple of inches shorter. Not overly warm. Will be interested in how warm it is when the weather turns cold.

Arrived with a price tag attached to the robe for $119, however you charged me $129. Great attention to detail troops.

Really wish I had a chance to reconsider on this one and go with a rugby robe instead. It's comfortable, but two things: 1) The Sherpa lining gives off kind of an old, worn vibe, but not in a cool way. More just sort of lame. The flannel inside would look better. 2) The belt loops are way too high. Not sure how it would fit on someone else's body, but I am going to have to, at some point, sew new belt loops on just so they actually fit around my waist and not the middle of my stomach.

It fits great! And the quality makes it even better! Premium fabric and really warm

I liked the material and everything, but I wear an xl and it was just too big, the cusps around the wrist were too big. I returned it for the large.

Soft and quite warm, but not as warm as the LL Bean men's robe I bought for my bf. Thought I was purchasing the same one. Nope, it's the OTHER one with the hood. So if you run freezing cold as I do (I live in the Wisconsin tundra!), I'd suggest this alternate option. I am 5'5 and 130 and the men's small fit well - loose enough to slip over pajamas.

For clothes that I never plan to wear in public (e.g. pajamas, robes), I buy a size larger, for more room/fabric for lounging. The Size Chart recommended a Large. So, I got an XL, knowing the arms would likely be a couple inches too long, but expecting the cuff to prevent it from passing beyond my wrist ... turns out, the cuff is huge! I read reviews discussing the "elastic cuff", but mine the opening is so big, that the 'elastic' does nothing. I wear XL (and sometime 2XL) gloves. The opening envelopes my hand (see pic). This is after washing and drying. IMHO, the cuff needs to be smaller or removed. My clothes that have cuffs like this, make me think the elastic is worn out and time to buy a new one ... but sadly, this is a new one. I would give it 1 Star, but might be 5 Star in the correct size?

Just as a heads up, this thing is massive. Very comfy but oversized for sure. Also the arms are crazy long, but wouldn't be an issue if the wrist bands were so loose. That said the thing is very warm and good for lounging around the house. Also the brown one has heavy Obi Wan vibes which is always cool.

Great product - order a size smaller than you normally wear. I wear a Large and this Large fits like an XL at least. I'm 6'0" - 180lbs.

I bought a medium for by boyfriend who I've gone shopping with and he wears a standard medium jacket, and button up, and this thing is an XL. Super long, super fat arms, that cover his fingertips and he's 5' 11". So annoyed that the sizing is off as this was supposed to be his Christmas gift. Returning and forced to figure something out at the very last minute. :(

Robe is comfortable and seems to be warm. However the sizing is way off. I'm 5'11 and 175lbs, ordered a Medium. Length is good but arms and body are way to big.. could fit 2 of myself in the robe. Very baggy fit. Picture is deceiving on website.

I'm actually wearing it tonight for the first time, as I am watching tv in my favorite chair. Thus far I am well pleased with it's comfort.LL's quality is second to none, lookingforward to my lounge time, thanks LL Bean

I love the style and fit, but the interior fleece is synthetic and does not absorb well while the exterior waffle knit is cotton and absorbs really well. It's as if the fabric should be reversed. It would be fine as a robe around the house, but does not work very well on a wet body. I use it when cooling off between "tours" in the sauna. It feels cold and clammy once I use it the first time because the moisture sits on the inside surface.

I bought a robe like this from you years ago and it was great. this robe did not have a way to tighten the hood around my head and the fleece was very thin inside. the robe i had years ago was heavy and warm, the reason i bought it. this robe not so much. very disappointing. gave the robe to my brother and will look for another robe at a different store

Nice quality, but much thinner than expected. Thought it was like a sweater fleece and thick sherpa lining. Instead just sweatshirt material and very thin sherpa. Nice, but not a heavy winter robe like my husband wanted. :( Too expensive to return it.

This robe is not true to size. The sleeves are 4-5 inches too long and the robe is big enough to wrap around a 250-275 lb man. The fabric was great and the feel was good. My mistake was t trying to make it work instead of returning it for a small. But the small may also be oversized and you no longer carry it.

very thin materal,cheap I bought for winter and air blows right through it

I am disappointed in the quality of the robe. This is the third robe that I have purchased over the last 8 years. This robe is inferior in thickness, weight, and warmth compared to the last previous two that I have purchased. Additionally, it was more expensive.

Light Weight and does not sit well on body, very thin
