The robe exceeded my expectations! It is the perfect balance of warmth and weight, form and function. This is my first hooded robe and really is nice when I have to take the dog out at night. I am 5'8" 160 lbs and I initially ordered size medium, which unfortunately was way too large. However a small fits me perfectly. I would strongly recommend this robe.

Absolutely the best robe I've ever owned in my entire life. A wee bit large which makes it that much cozier when comfortably wrapped. And the roomy hood is a special bonus. I definitely advise to get one of these before they go on back order again like last year. The best Christmas present I've ever given myself. Ever!

I was a little apprehensive about buying this robe because of not having the opportunity to try it on. I am 6' 1" and the robe fits great its extremely warm and comfortable. The only issue I've had since it arrived is keeping my 5'2" wife from wearing it. I can always tell she's worm it because the sleeves are always rolled up. Thanks L.L. Bean for yet another fantastic product.

Great choice for a cool house. We heat my main area with wood and i do not keep a fire going all night. Bundled in this robe I am cozy at 68 degrees in the evening. It fit well and matched the catalogue description. Great garment and top quailty as I have expected from LL Bean the last 50 years.

I'm a woman who bought the men's small for myself. It fits perfectly and I loved it. It's warm and very cozy. Pockets and the hood make it just wan at I wanted.

Fit is right. Feel is right. It's not cold enough here for a true test, but I expect to be toasty warm.

This year I ordered both the Rugby Robe and the Bonded Waffle Lined Robe, to compare the two. This one has an outer, cotton waffle knit similar to that of traditional, expedition weight, cotton, long underwear. It's bonded to a thin but very soft fleece. The robe is very warm and comfortable but much less bulky and lighter in weight than the Rugby Robe, which is a robe made just like the Katahdin Ironworks Hoodie Sweatshirt. In size large, it weighs 2lbs 12 oz. versus 4lbs for the large sized Rugby Robe. After comparing them, I kept them both, but early in the cool season, I find that this is the one I grab from the closet first. I'm just over 6 ft. and weigh 210lbs, and it fits fine.

Wish it had a breast pocket but other than that it is good.

One of the best birthday gifts my wife has given me! Comfortable, warm and the hood keeps my head warm on cold Colorado mornings.

I ordered this as a gift for my guy. Like most guys, he runs hot, so I didn't order the sweatshirt style robe because it's just too thick. This is soft, cozy, but doesn't make him overheat. Generously proportioned I could have dropped a size down for him, but he likes the roominess. He likes the cuffing at the sleeves and that it comes down to the wrists. His old terrycloth robe was that mid-forearm length which just isn't quite right in the winter. Well done. I highly recommend to those in the market for a new robe.

Great looking robe

Great item & very warm. Just the right amount of insulation to take off the chill but not cause any condensation or sweating. Perfect balance of warmth and breathability.

I bought two of these robes in the olive color. One for my husband and a men's size small for me. We both are happy with the way they look, feel (soft material) and the brownish green color. Mine is long in the arms but I just roll them up. The hood is useful when reading and you just want to feel a little warmer. The material is substantial so this is good for cold weather.

My previous robe I also purchased from LLBean about 4 years and still wear it almost everyday. This robe caught my eye in the catalogue and decided I would purchase it. It is a wonderful robe. Cozy, warm, soft just the way I would expect from LL Bean. I highly recommend this robe to anyone who has a robe or not.

The Rugby bathrobe with hood and fleece lining is extremely comfortable and makes me feel as if I am wrapped in a warm cocoon. I love everything about it and am living in it during my time at my lake house.

Love this thing so much I went to order a second only to find it not listed on the site anymore! Say it ain't so! Very nice robe that should last for years! I will say that the large was big on me through the shoulders and arm length. I'm decently built and lean, so the medium was a perfect fit.

Such a nice robe. Heavy, and well made. The liner is super cozy and comfortable and cozy. Nothing nicer than putting this robe on after a nice hot shower. Also been using it to change out of my wetsuit after surfing a cold nor'easter. Very nice.

This is my first ever robe purchase and I absolutely LOVE it. I'm not a 6'3" model who wears a medium, I'm more of a 5'9 guy weighing in at 190, i'd consider myself a skinny chubby, a little thick. Based off of that i went with a Large and the large is slightly too big. A medium would've been perfect but i still love the oversized fit. This robe is definitely worth the money and recommend it.

The robe ran somewhat large so I traded it on for one at the store in a medium which fits perfectly. This is hands down the most amazing robe ever! It's warm and comfort. I did however end up getting the flannel lined! Love it

Warm, very comfortable, & LIGHTWEIGHT...the bonded construction is brilliant (one layer instead of two is neat & trim)...finally, the knit end of the sleeves keeps the material from flapping around your hands (a great touch for a bathrobe). Treat Yourself...you deserve it!

Amazing robe. Made for an upper WI winter. Just to let people know, Rangeley Blue is more of a Navy Blue (I like it better). The picture makes it look like a lighter, brighter blue than it is.
