Waited a month only to find the size runs extremely large. Had to return. Reordered replacement from another company (starts with an A) - arrived in a few days. Quality is much lower but so is price and it fits great. Had to pay return shipping cost - not sure I'll rush back to bean.

As a long time customer, I was very disappointed with the quality of this robe that my husband and I purchased a month ago. It's fraying, especially around the collar area. It was not inexpensive and not the top quality I expect from LL Bean. We are trying to figure out a return without our receipt. Never thought we would need to return something because of quality. Oh well.

A heavy warm robe that began to fray and pill very soon after first washing. I do not recall this being a problem with terry cloth. We are returning it. I will probably exchange it for another of it type in the hope it will wear better.

Fabric is so soft it tears with normal use. Signs of wear around the collar. I've had it a month and it needs to be replaced.

This is a terrible product!. In two weeks of wearing the inside and the outside seat "pilled" badly. If this robe only cost $20 I would still be returning it. Very, very overpriced. In addition, the sleeves are far too long and would fit someone 6 foot 4 inches!

I've been using or wearing the robe for a month and a half. My previous LL Bean Men's Terry Robe I wore for over 15 years. This Organic Men's Terry Robe is bad. Really bad. The material, although soft, began to "pill" almost immediately. Now, it looks like the robe is falling apart. I hope Bean will go back to or find new terry cloth material that will hold up longer. This robe is going back, unfortunately. Big Bean miss.

Have only had this robe less than two months and it is pilling badly. Terrible quality.

Returned because it was too rough and uncomfortable and for $90, it should be comfy.

I have always known LL Bean to have quality products so this really surprised me. The robe is huge and boxey - even if I had ordered a size to big it had no shape at all but the most surprising was the material - not soft at all, the color was dull and there was just nothing about this robe that would make you want to put it on. It's definitely going back.

I have to agree with the other negative reviews of this product. Although the storm blue is a beautiful color and it feels like a nice substantial robe, the quality of the fabric is dreadful. I gave it to my husband for Christmas and within a month it looked worse than the worn-out robe it was intended to replace. It has pilled and snagged very badly, especially along the collar. I guess he'll be getting another new robe this Christmas---but from somewhere else!

I have always found LLBean products to be of above better than average quality and have spent a lot on them. This robe is a huge disappointment. My husband received it as a Christmas gift and I don't think it will last until next Christmas. It "pills" and sheds the material. It looks like an old rag. The old bathrobe that he had for 25 years looks better than this one and it was a cheap one. I think I will have o rethink my review of products from here with more caution.

The robe was warm and comfortable but the sleeves wore out in the elbow areas after just a few months of use. I covered the holes with iron on patches to get some use out of this $90 item but would not purchase another one. My last robe from L L Bean lasted years.

After just 2 weeks, it looks like it was used to cover a cat's scratch post.

Within one day of use, fuzz began to build around the collar and threads began to unravel. I fear what will happen after just one wash. Very disappointed as this was a gift.
