These look good, fit properly and have a nice weight...warm enough, but not stiflingly so. On the other hand, I prefer to have a zip fly in lounging pants like this. I expect pull-down pant from lower brands and stores, and assumed LL Bean would be one or two notches above. While I would recommend to a friend, I would add that concern as a caveat.

I ordered this for my son and his only comment was "it could have had a front opening to go to the bathroom"! :) Other than that, very comfortable.

Good flannel that held its color after first wash. Comfortable and well constructed. Downside for 4 stars is fixed 31 inch inseam requiring alteration and no fly so you have to bare with it.

Bought them for my sons + husband. They love them, but they are HUGE. Like made for GIANTS. Bought mediums. I think you would have to be 200LBS and/or 6'4" to wear a medium. My son is 6'0 (maybe 6'1") and 145-150 lbs. Definitely needed a small. So did my husband who weighs more than that. Definitely order a size down. No one in my house wears a small normally. Sizing is WAY off.

Right length but too big around. Very well-made.

I bought these for my husband at Christmas and he loves them. I've purchased PJ bottoms for him before from others but they always shrank and left him in "Man Capris." These did not and he plans to order more.

I purchased this for my husband, who is tall and needed lounge pants after a knee replacement. They actually fit, unlike the cheap ones from the local box store. Most stores that have a BIg and Tall section really mean Big, finding a large that is the right length is not easy. His one complaint is that there is no fly. It is kinda weird to not put that in a pair of lounge pants for a man. He owns another pair from many years ago and they are still going stong, so will assume the new ones will hold up, as well.

As always L.L. Bean uses quality materials and excellent workmanship. The sleep pants are loose and comfortable with a nice, heavy tie. My one complaint is that they do not have a button fly which means you have to untie them to relieve yourself! A fly would be an easy thing to add and would make them absolutely perfect.

Purchased these for my husband. Great fit. Warm and soft, BUT, where is the fly? I washed them before the first wear, and being a female, didn't look. Good product, but could be better with the fly, or opening!!

My husband loves the pajama bottoms; however, they were 5 inches too long! We ordered a medium, which is what he wears and they looked like they belong to someone who is 6 feet tall. We washed them and they shrunk perhaps an inch. I wanted to send them back and get another pair but my husband said he wanted to keep them. He rolls them up and loves them. If not for the length, I would have given them a 5 star rating.

Bought as a gift for my 16 yo son and he's worn them several times, so they must be comfy and somewhat on trend! Only 4 stars bc pattern didn't match at the seam...should have since quality was there otherwise.

There is nothing worse than a sweet pair of comfy pjs that have a mismatched plaid across the bottom. It looks terrible. I bought many pairs of pajama bottoms for my loved ones this Christmas from several different sources, and the L.L.Bean bottoms were consistently a wonderful heavy weight soft flannel, were made well, and they bothered to match the plaids across the backside! Thank you! (all the others were returned)

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my son. He loves them. Perfect fit around the waist, good quality, soft flannel, but the length is too long. It would be nice if LLBean offered them in a shorter length for the vertically challenged

I take Bean's 35" waist pants but this Large was way too big. I returned them without issue and got a Medium which is just right. The Medium has plenty of room. This flannel is not overly clingy as so many (other brand) cotton sleep pants usually are. Years ago I stumbled on a 100% cotton flannel (other brand) that was just as warn but not clingy at all. I know Bean can eliminate the cling.

Great cotton fabric and tailoring. Where is the fly? I thought these were for a man and not unisex.

Nice appearance, comfortable. My concern is the quality of the fabric as the first 3 times I washed and dried, the lint filter in the drier was thick with the blue/green material lost from the flannel pants. That was not the case with the same product I purchased from LL Bean several years ago. Makes me wonder how long this current product will last. Is LL Bean using an inferior material as compared to its past materials?

I am a female who prefers the mens pattern in the flannel sleep pants. They are way too long for me,so I have to cut them off. I make them work for me.

Amazingly soft and fit is good. Pockets are great, but would much rather have a fly.

I wore out my previous pair...this pair seems a bit larger, both in length and waist. The pull string could be eliminated with a stronger waistband. Comfy material

I like the pants and these are warm. However, I don't care for the side pockets and lack of usual snap front closure.

Very comfortable fit. The lack of a fly is a bit unusual.
