I bought a pair for my boyfriend (he's 6'1" 155, lanky guy) and they were so soft and cozy that I got jealous, hopped back online, and bought a pair for myself. Ladies, for reference, I'm 5'7" 175 and bought the same size as my boyfriend. Confession: I may have tried his on when they arrived, just to test them out ;)

Let me begin by stating if the reader of this review is into a formfitted garment: STOP READING! It is a generous fit...but it is a superbly comfortable fit! After all, folks, these are 'jams, not tailor made suits. I would not have these garments any other way. They are cozy, warm, resilient, and comfortable. I have three pair, and I love them!

Husband loved his pants but they were way too long for just regular pants, good thing I was able to sew, I had to cut about 4 inches off the bottom of the pants and sew them, I never saw pants so long on a regular pair of men's medium jams.

These pajama bottoms match the robe I bought a few years ago and at that time I bought the same pajama bottoms. I like the fact that the waistband keeps its elasticity and that the length is sufficient for my tall size. Oh and the fact that it does come in a tall size. The original pair has suffered only at the drawstring hole. There are packets and that's a plus.

This is the third pair I have purchased within the last 12 months or so and I love them! They are made of substantial but soft flannel which grows softer after each washing (After the first few wash/dries, you will notice a good bit of lint in the dryer screen but this is typical in my experience with new flannel garments/bedding). I am a woman with slim hips and a large-ish midsection so I buy them larger than I need because I find them more comfortable for sleeping and lounging; I could probably wear a medium as well but have not tried so don't know for sure.

My husband loves it because it is warm and comfortable. He wears it every night.

My husband loves these-- plush cotton flannel and a generous fit perfect for lounging and sleep-- no binding which can easily occur if one happens to be and energetic sleeper....

These are by far the most comfortable flannels I've ever worn. Will definitely be buying more. Nice deep pockets and a nice fit.

Soft, cozy flannel sleep pants are more than just for bedtime. Several members of the family own these and wear them for lounging. Our teenage son has even worn them to school for pajama day! I love diving into these after a long day at work. Comfortable elastic waistband and two deep pockets. I can't wait to buy more.

Received these great flannel pants as a Christmas gift and have worn them nearly every night since. Soft, comfortable, and are holding up well. Perfect for lounging around on a lazy Saturday morning (with a pair of LL Bean slippers, of course). Highly recommended!

Whenever I need to replace my jammers, I hit LL Bean for the flannel ones. I've had other "flannel" pants and they don't feel the same. They feel cheap and make me uncomfortable. For my money, these are the go-to jams.

Bought these for my husband. He loves them! When the day is done and a fire in the wood stove is going, he changes into his "comfy pants" for the evening.

Have purchased these for myself and various members of the family in all age groups as presents. Everybody likes them. Fabric holds up well and doesn't get scratchy as do some other brands.

Soft, warm, comfortable. Pricier than what I usually purchase. How they hold up will determine if another is purchased, but I am very happy with the quality.

I bought these for my husband and son in laws for Christmas, and they love them. Nice, thick warm flannel. Wash and dry great.

Ok, I love all things L. L. Bean.. so it's no surprise that I love these PJ bottoms, since they are (frankly) perfect. They're snugly warm but are very breathable as well.. so yes to these bottoms :)) However, I live in Arizona, where flannel bottoms just aren't needed year round. Still, I like to be cool inside in the summer, and since I have my a/c on, I still tend to wear flannel PJ bottoms. The bummer is that the ones that are perfect for that time of year are not the plaid flannel, but the ones L. L. Bean used to make a couple years ago which were printed, i.e. with ducks, dogs, etc. They were the perfect weight, and while I'll forever be an L.L. Bean plaid PJ bottoms kinda gal, I really need me some more printed flannel bottoms. I can't find anymore anywhere. So, I'm just throwing this request "out there" in hopes that it will spark a resurgence of printed flannel goodness :)) I will buy them.. I promise.

I would never consider buying any other lounge pants to sleep. I didn't check other vendors, I knew I wouldn't be happy with another brand. You can find cheaper and that's exactly what you are going to get. These wash and dry with no impact.

Bought an additional, new pair for my husband for Christmas. His old set needed to be replaced as he loves to wear them. Soft, durable in a comfy way.
