Gave as a gift for Christmas and it was liked and has been worn.

This was a gift and he loved it!

This is the softest and coziest garment I've owned, and I've had a few. It immediately went on during all at-home hours and stayed there for the first week after it arrived. So comfortable was this shirt, I decided to gift one to my daughter (hoodie version) and her partner in Brooklyn and she reports they've worn them daily since in this cool early winter. Have not washed it yet because I've worn it daily, but it appears sturdy and well made as any LL Bean shirt I've had. I'm thinking of getting another for back up. Very satisfying purchase (and was able to take advantage of a sale).

He will be able to wear this shirt as a jacket in the spring. He discovered the side pockets and was pleased with them. Rugged but comfortable. Made well, true to the LLB tradition.

Perfect jacket for quick trips outside in the freezing cold, or everyday added layer of warmth; says "lumberjack" on the outside, "pampered" on the inside. Warm, soft, and comfortable. You'll love it.

My 83 year old husband is always cold in the winter, no matter that the heat is coming up through the radiators full steam ahead! I bought him these two shirts (this and the flannel lined Hurricane shirt) because they looked very warm, comfy and attractive. We were not disappointed. He says they are as warm as toast, very comfortable, and the perfect fit!

I bought this for my elderly father who is always cold. I think it will fit him just fine and just what he needs to stay nice and warm. Love the snap front and pockets. Very well made!

Love this shirt! It's excellent on days that are not cold enough to bundle up but too cold to go without. Fits well, made well, and comfortable!

Since I keep my house cool, I ordered this shirt to keep me warm on cold days. So far it is doing the job very well. I fits perfectly and I feel nice and snug. It is also a great looking shirt.

Perfect for fall. Very comfortable. I typically wear a turtle neck underneath. Worth the $$.

I've been hoping Bean would do something like this with their Scotch Plaid flannels, as I love their fleece lined flannels. Their new Scotch Plaid sherpa lined shirt jackets are just a bit heavier/thicker than the fleece lined flannels, but just as comfortable. Glad they got rid of the button down collar for these. Do wish they would offer more colorful plaids, and I'd buy more!

Had it a couple weeks and it's already the all time Favorite. Fits just right, is very warm and comfortable. I will save the cost of this shirt in heating expense, as when I am gone all day, don't need to warm up the house when getting home in the evening, like tonight, and I have it on now :)

I got this for my husband. He is 84 and likes to stay warm. He loves this shirt ! He feels it is very warm and comfortable and looks good. He pairs it with a red or navy turtle neck and jeans. The colors are bright. It's a winner !

The quality is excellent as most LLBeane products are. Things that I appreciate: snaps rather than buttons, cozy side pockets and two adequate sized chest pockets with snaps, and one final cue to the precision in construction is the shirt pattern is followed through with both chest pockets matching the pattern. For me, there is one negative: the sleeves are approximately 1" too long, or to be fair, perhaps my arms are shorter than normal...yet I don't normally encounter this problem. I choose to take the high road, and give this item 5 stars.

It is very warm

I bought this for my husband (he picked it out) and he loves it. It's the perfect alternative to a chunky sweater and it keeps him warm in colder temperatures. I love to put it on when he's not using it and I need some extra warmth around the house. Love it!

I gave this to my husband as a birthday gift. We both love it. We could have gotten something way less expensive at Costco, but it is really worth it. The colors in the plaid are beautiful, the fabrics are high quality and the construction is excellent. It is nice and long. No skimping there. He was just saying that it is perfect for wearing in our house which we keep on the cool side in the winter.

Usually when we get a regular L from LL Bean for my husband the sleeves are too short and too bulky in the middle. The medium tall is perfect for a slender build, and my husband loves it!

Fit is good,nice and worm,and not to heavy

Shirt is of great quality. Size is spot on, but it fits more like a jacket rather than a shirt. Fleece lined core only, sleeves are quilted (polyester)? Very warm and super comfortable. Highly recommended!

The warmth on a frosty morning is excellent. The quality is superb.

I like this for the lining and deep pockets. Could use a scarf with it.

Awesome shirt with very comfy Sherpa lining on the body, slick sleeve interiors though. I have another jacket with lining in the sleeves as well and it is even more comfortable. It does run a little big which is nice if you want to wear a hoodie underneath, I'm 5'10" 190 and have the large. An additional snap option to adjust the cuffs of the wrists would be nice too as they are a little big. Still a high 4/5 stars, would definitely buy again and recommend to a friend.
