Disappointed in this shirt. I have bought them for years because a Medium Tall fit my husband perfectly. This one is several inches shorter in the back than the front and therefore won't stay tucked in. Seems like the craftsmanship overall is not as good.

This would be the perfect shirt if the inside was nice and soft and not scratchy. I had to return it

Not happy with the texture of this fabric, it is rough.Also, don't like that it isn't hemmed, just stitched.

I ordered this shirt for my husband thinking it would be warm. It is. However, the fabric is also scratchy, especially the inside lining. Washing was of minimal help. It is best worn on top of another layer.

Medium fit true until washed and dried. Shrunk badly. Buy size up. I'm not a block and lie flat to dry person.

My husband and I have half a dozen river driver shirts from previous years and loved them. He got me two new ones this Xmas. Material is half the thickness of our older river drivers. Quality is slipping. Won't be buying any more.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas, but the texture isn't soft inside. He is having to wear a cotton long sleeved shirt underneath to keep it from itching.

I have an earlier version of this shirt and absolutely love it. The material is really thick and heavy. I recently ordered another one with a different color and was horribly disappointed to find out that the material is no longer thick and heavy. This is the first time that I have been disappointed with the quality of an LLBean item. Please bring back the original version.

These shirts are scratchy. They are lined with a smooth undershirt but the scratchy outside of the shirt pokes thru making the shirt uncomfortable. After washing they also look rough unlike the picture online.

Ordered to replace my 15 year old ones ,quality was not the same.shirt was much lighter weight than my old ones...been a ll bean customer for 40yrs....quality has gone down

The color was nice, but the sizing was off. A large for my husband (what I usually purchase) was very tight. He wanted me to send it back, but I am going to try to air dry it and stretch it a bit. I think that could work. Also, fairly pricey for the warmth factor that you get.

Stitching on bottom of shirt is not a finished stitch. Cheaply finished.

They don't hold up well after being washed once. The fabric starts to show wear immediately

I wore this shirt once and I found you can't put it in a dryer. It came out of the wash a mass of wrinkles and needs to be ironed

Very cheap for the price. Not a quality product. Ran all over the laundry during two cold washes.

Shrank a lot. This was not well made. Not a usual ll bean quality.

Heavy weight. Washed once. Collar doesn't lie right; looks wrinkled and/or stretched out of shape right out of the dryer.

I have purchased these since 1993. The armpits wear out and the ribbed sleeve cuffs have been out of shape that cannot be corrected. They are comfortable, but since they are 2 layers, I would not expect them to wear out so fast.

Terrible stitching but nice heavy weight. Not a value at all especially considering high price.

A good looking and well fitting shirt EXCEPT that the button placard and the collar are not cotton lined like the rest of the shirt. This allows the wool outer layer to irritate and chafe both the neck and chest wherever this unlined outer layer contacts the skin.

Sewing of the button placard produces a giant stiff wad of material at the base that chafes. Several washings did not loosen it up. Not a comfortable piece of clothing. For the price it could have been designed better.

I did not feel the quality was up to the standards of L.LBean. Therefore I sent it back and had to pay the postage. It was slso advertised as turquoise in color and was blue. Very disappointed in the purchase.

Good quality, but scratchy. It may require an undershirt if you're sensitive to the inner fabric.

Didn't like material so I sent it back. It just didn't feel cozy.

Way too long and very scratchy. Same model purchased two years ago. Now different!
