I gave my twin adult grandsons these shirts for Christmas. They were both very pleased and wore them for Christmas dinner. The fit for both of them is perfect, and the colors are gorgeous. They are very warm as well. I would most certainly purchase them again. In fact I think I will, for my son-in-law's birthday which is coming up next month. Thank you LLBean!

This is one of the most comfortable shirts I now own. It's heavy enough to be warm but not so heavy and to be hot. It's just right on a cool day.

14 year old wears it in Upstate NY to school endlessly. Also, he used it for wintertime work at an outdoor theme park near Lake Placid, NY for superior layering. He loves them.

It's a great shirt, stays tough and performs exactly as well as it should. Warm and comfortable and tough? Yes it is! I'll order another, as soon as this one gives up, which looks to be a long time.

Bought this for my husband because he loved his first one and he loves this one also. He is 6' and beats me how much he weighs, relatively fit though. Fits great. We now live in Florida and he is able to wear it on our cold damp days in the winter so anyone in the north will definitely love it!

Bought a couple a few years back love em, great under shirt, very warm, they last , they wont fall apart just a great under shirt so I bought more.

Warm enough to substitute for a sweater and washes nicely. Wonderful for casual wear.

My husband has several of these in the large tall. They do shrink a little after washing, but I had been told that when i ordered by phone. He LOVES them because they are so warm. I match them to a chamois plaid or solid, that he wears over the henley. Great combination!

I bought this shirt for my husband. He loves it. The double-layers really keep him warm. The cut is not too wide yet the sleeves are long enough for his arms.

Got a large tall for my long arms. Fit is perfect, even after a machine wash. Material is very comfortable. I wear it with a T shirt underneath and it's the perfect combination for a cold winter day.

2nd one I've bought, and equally good to my first two years ago.

Bought my 1st one 2 months ago. I just bought my 4th. Very comfortable and warm. My favorite casual shirt. Doesn't shrink if you follow washing and drying instructions. Great product.

Bought for my husband for Christmas. The fit is perfect and the quality is really nice. The weight of the shirt is perfect for cool days and nights but not for very cold weather - that's when he goes to the other L.L. Bean pile lined shirt I also bought him. I feel this was a good purchase.

I now own at least 10 of these shirts. I live in PA and wear them for 8 to 9 months of the year. I have used them camping, hunting, around town, and around the house. They are heavy enough to wear alone in temperatures as low as 40 degrees provided i am moving around. They also layer really well. Regular size is long enough to tuck into pants, but at least half of my river driver's shirts were Tall size as I like the extra length when not tucking in the shirt. Shirts work well to push sweat to outside layer and thus keep me warm even when I am perspiring.

My husband wears this shirt for work in the winter during times of cooler temperatures. He likes that the shirt helps to keep him warm without needing a lot of heavy layers, which helps him when mobility is an issue at work. The shirt also helps to keep him dry rather than getting too warm and trapping moisture against the skin, thereby keeping him more comfortable. He also enjoys being able to have tall sizing in order to get a little extra length in the sleeves. So many of his long sleeve shirts are too short in sleeve length to be comfortable but the tall sizes are perfect for him.

Always wanted this. Finally ordered, but size was bigger than expected. I have a 7 ft tall son ( ex- pro b-ball player ). Fits him perfectly, so it's an extra belated Christmas present for him. He loves it. I'm going to order next size down for me because I like the quality and design. Very comfortable and great for cool weather activities or layering in colder temps.

I received this as a Christmas gift from my husband in the Loden Heather (small) and I love it! I had one for many years in navy, it was one of my favorite! So comfortable and cozy, great to wear under flannels. I highly recommend this for men and women. I just ordered it in two more colors (charcoal and vintage Indigo Heather), I could not resist. LL Bean nailed it again!
