These river driver shirts are really nice. Soft and comfortable next to your skin, but warmer than just a heavy cotton first layer. I find them easy to care for, and enjoy wearing them when the weather is cold.

Bought a couple more River Driver shirts. Warm and comfortable.

I have 4 other colors, love them this time of year.

I have been wearing these since 1989 when a friend recommended them for chilly collegiate crew practices. My current shirt must be from the mid-90's and it has done all kinds of fall, winter and spring sports with me, gone camping countless times, and may be my longest running piece of outdoor gear. It still looks good for its age and retains the original forest green color (sadly no longer an option for my next one).

I own 10 of these shirts and wear them under my flannel shirts all winter long. They are very well made, comfortable, durable and warm. I have owned a number of these shirts for over 10 years and they still look almost brand new.

Very warm without bulk, especially good for layering. Large buttons make it easy to button up.

Warmth for the winter. I have purchased these duofold river driver Henley shirts for over 15 years. The blended fabric is much warmer than a pure cotton top. I live in mountains with snow, and sleep in them as a pajama top- best sleeping shirt ever for cold temps

The fit was too small, too tight. I returned it, tried the next size up but that was too large.

I wear this shirt around home in cold weather and as a layer when heading outside. It is not my first time wearing duo-fold so, because everything around here ends up in the dryer, I chose one size up.

Comfortable base layer, perfect for cooler days. Its thicker fabric makes it a good choice for autumn weather. The deep blue color does not run in the wash. I am 5'9", 140, the small size is perfect, not snug and not boxy.

I am 82 years old and have been wearing LL Bean River Drivers Shirts these past 46 years. I appreciated that they fit me well and kept me warm then, and they still do. Thank you LL Bean.

This is one of my favorite shirts. The double layer provides warmth and comfort while in the house, working in the yard or running errands. The shirt is not bulky, making is easy to complete any task or activity.

I bought this shirt to replace my last river driver shirt which I got in 2002. If this one lasts half ad long I'll feel like I got a good deal. It's the perfect winter base layer.

Warm layers wool on the outside cotton on the inside.

I HAVE 4 OF THESE....what else to say??? I keep two as "Good Shirts". The older more worn shirts become my hang around shirts.

These shirts are soft and durable. Fit is true to size.
