Nice top but not as soft as I expected it to be after washing. Will help keep you warm. Need to lay it out flat to dry. Not recommended to run it in the dryer.

This is a shirt that you can work out side with. Nice and warm.

This is my third river driver shirt. I love them. They are nice and cozy, They are a very good base layer that keeps you nice and warm. This shirt fits true to size.

I ordered two of these henleys for my husband, who tends to run cold. These are the first shirts he reaches for when he doesn't need to wear a button-down shirt for work. He is 6' tall and 175 lbs, with a broad ribcage, and the L was perfect.

These are the best shirts for cool weather. I am 58 years old, 195lbs., 5'8" tall, I buy XL. That way I can tuck it in a pair of jeans and it stays tucked in. Wear a flannel shirt over or a sweater, for when the temps really drop. I wear these from fall to spring. Have many different colors. Two layers- soft on the inside, don't itch, and block a good amount of breeze. They might shrink a bit after a few years and many wash + dry, but that is why I get them XL. It can shrink all it wants, and it still fits after 10+ years. If you pull it our of the dryer when it gets done, no need to iron. Can't say I have ever needed to iron. Buy one and try it. You will be hooked!

My mother bought 2 for me in the very early 1990s when I was in the Army. I wore them under my uniform when we would go to the field in the winter. My son took those 10 years ago and they are still going strong. I recently had to buy another one for me and the quality is the same. LL Bean is what the other outdoor clothing stores aspire to be.

The River Driver's Shirt is a regular in my cool and cold-weather rotation. It has proven to be super versatile; I can wear it to work with chinos or on a hike under a vest and it excels at both. Being a merino blend, it wicks enough to avoid feeling damp. It doesn't hold odors and I haven't found it to pill much. It's made in Canada, which is a big selling point for me. At the price point though, it's tough to pass up either way.

Great shirts, have loved them for years but now they seem to be unavailable. Got one from backorder that took 3 months to arrive and now theyre not even listed on the website. Please tell me theyre not discontinued!!!!
