Very well made and washes beautifully and the snaps are easier for older folks with arthritis in their hands. Four pockets are also handy and works great as a lightweight jacket.

Great shirt, comfortable fit. Can be worn for a causal night out or for work in the yard. Love the fact that LLBean sells tall options. Means tall men don't have to size up and wear bulky clothing

My new favorite I bought this before fall season started and I find myself going straight for it every time I go outside. The fit is perfect for me I'm 6'-2" 215 pounds ordered a size Large Tall and it was perfect fit. Fabric is soft and warm I've used it as a mid layer too and no problems, very versatile shirt/jacket.

My husband loves these! Very comfortable and looks good. He likes that he does not have to tuck on.

Soft and medium weight for a good layer on a brisk day. I usually wear medium but I got a small and fits perfect. They run big. I love this shirt.

My husband (93) loved his quilted snap up sweatshirt. In fact, we had orderedhim tge gray zip up quilted jacket, andI could hardly get it off of him to wash! Now he has a gray, navy blue, and the red snap up. These are perfect fir him as they are easy to put on and take off. He is 5'10" abd weighs 200 pounds. The large is roomy for him, but he wears another shirt under his quilted jackets. The red snap-up is a little more boxy, but he likes all three!

The LL Bean Overshirt is an exceptional value and a deninite plus to my wardrobe

This quilted overshirt is exactly what I was looking for -- an easy and cozy layer that can match with pretty much anything and suitable for WFH video calls. I am 6'2" and 185-190 lbs on any given day. For everything I have from LL Bean I am a Medium Tall. For this item I returned the Medium Tall and ordered a Medium instead. It is almost laughably long. The Medium fits well but is not snug or tight. It is a looser cut.

We got this quilted cardigan for my 94 year old father because he was always cold in the AC, but we wanted others in the house to be comfortable. This met our needs perfectly! He normally wears a M, but it was too tight if he had another shirt underneath, so we exchanged it for a L. Works great.

My husband loves this garment and wears the heck out of it. Since several people comment on the sizing of this being too large or recommend ordering down I'll offer for context that my husband is 5'7 / 145# and wears a size S in LLB traditional fit tops and This one fit him really well in that usual size, with room underneath for a long sleeve tee and ample room to snap it up when he wants to do that. Arm length maybe 1/2" longer than he would choose as perfect but he's a shorter guy with shorter arms. Trunk length good. He loves the 'hand' of the quilted knit fabric and wears it inside on cold days and outside too at cool times. The Heathered Indigo blue color is a great one, just dark enough but not too much and the heathering make it even more interesting close up. Closing with more fit comparison, my hubby also has and loves the LLB Sweater Fleece Knit Shirt Jacket (he has this in Eucalyptus Green) which is a garment cut for in Slightly Fitted style and he also has this in size S. Although he is not an overweight guy he does carry weight at his waist and so in this garment it is trimmer there and if he could wave a magic wand on that one he'd add a little extra room. I offer that observation for people who may like the concept of this quilted sweatshirt snap overshirt but are concerned the Traditional Fit is too roomy for them. Take a look at that other similar styled, including snap front, Sweater Fleece shirt style jacket which is cut trimmer. Same LLBean great quality and similar versatile style.

Nice overshirt for my 92 year old Dad. It is easy for him to get on and he likes the snaps because buttons have become difficult for him. He also likes the pockets. Fits well too.

I read as many reviews as I could before I bought mine to make sure I was getting the right one, here's what people hit on the head. Size down, I'm 6' 190 and got a medium and it fits perfectly. It is thinner than you'd expect. You'll be warm from 32-60 but cold anything below freezing.

Love this thing. Not too heavy but thick enough to keep you warm in early spring and fall

I think of this garment as a lightweight jacket which I thought could be useful for my husband. It replaces one of similar style which I bought from another source and returned because of a bad fit. (It also had cost quite a bit more.) This one is a success, comfortable, and he wears it indoors when he feels cool and outdoors for walks. He sometimes has difficulty with buttons so he likes the snaps on the front and pockets. Wish there was a version for women.

This shirt is classy and soft, well worth every penny.

Great shirt! This is a men's shirt but I bought it for myself. I love it! I love the quilting and the sweatshirt style sleeves.

Great style and fit. Bought two for son and husband. Very comfortable and looks nice on. Colors were brown and blue. Finding brown color looking worn, maybe due to multiple washes. Runs large.

Ordered small. Usually order medium. I would size down. LL Bean should make a tall small. Great quality and comfortable!
