I am, or perhaps more accurately - WAS, not a flannel person, but I saw this shirt, the nice patterns, and read the reviews and thought I'd give it a try. Well, it came, I tried it on, and I was sold! This shirt is so soft and comfortable. I got the mariner blue color and it looks amazing. I ordered another one.

Been getting LL Bean flannel shirts for over30 years. This version of flannel shirt is absolutely the best I've ever worn. I bought one of these last fall, and bought two more this year. I highly recommend.

These shirts are so nice I couldn't just own one, have the red ochre and the dark curry, the colors are bright, the cotton is thick very soft and warm, hope this shirt is available in new colors next year, if you like flannel these are the perfect flannel shirt,

Great shirt soft and warm, my new favorite

I was attracted to this shirt by the colors. I am not a flannel type of guy but for whatever reason, I liked what I saw. I tried it on; it fit well, felt comfortable, I was sold. It's now my go-to shirt as the weather begins to get cold.

Love this shirt, I usually where an xl but bought it in an xxl because it is slightly fitted. The shirt is a little big but figure that it will shrink a bit as it gets washed. The material is a little heavier then most flannel shirts and very soft. Excellent quality.

THIS IS NOW MY FAVORITE SHIRT. WITH WARM WEATHER COMING, I AM SORRY I PROBABLY WON'T GET A CHANCE TO WEAR IT MUCH. THE FLANNEL IS SOFT & WARM, WASHES WELL, DID NOT SHRINK. THE DESCRIPTION SAYS SLIGHTLY FITTED & IF IT IS, IT IS INDEED SLIGHT.

I ordered XL Tall. After several washings, shrinkage makes for a perfect fit. Feels more comfortable to the skin than your scotch plaid flannel shirts.

It is very soft, and comfortable from the day it arrived. It also fit extremely well everywhere, even though I have a large neck, and wide shoulders, it wasn't too tight in those areas, as a lot of shirts are. Highly recommended!

I'm pretty sure I ordered a tall, yup, I did. I'm wearing it now. Had to crane my neck a bit to read the tag. Look, I've only washed (and dried) it twice. I was afraid to dry it (even on low), so I took it out waaaay early the first time. The second time, I let it go until it was almost dry, Then I hung it in my closet with a damp collar and cuffs. If it's lost any size at all, it's been a benefit. I always order things a size up so as to accommodate for shrinking. This shirt seems really well built out of amazing material. I am really happy with it so far. See you in 6 months.

This is a wonderful shirt! Fits perfectly (the slightly fitted is not too tight). Did not shrink after washing. I always buy organic when I can. So happy that LL Bean is carrying more products now.

Most shirts I buy are size Large, except for those from LLBean. I always order mediums from Bean and they fit me very well. I marked "True to Size" based on what the fitting chart shows , not based on what I usually buy from other stores. This shirt gets high marks for not having those dumb button down collars! Hey Bean, I'd buy more flannel shirts if you dumped all those button collars...just saying.

Everything about this shirt makes it the ideal flannel. It is soft, well-fitted for tucking in or not, and it looks good enough to wear anywhere.Easily one of the best flannel shirts I have owned.
