This flannel reminds me of the shirts I wore when I was younger, classic and well made. This shirt is thick and warm, and exceptionally soft while steel feeling durable. Now that the mornings are cooler it is great for wearing out on the porch at the crack of dawn, smoking my pipe with my English tobacco blends and watching the sun come up while sipping my coffee. One of the reasons I buy so many clothes from L.L. Bean is they still carry these classic styles true to their outdoorsman roots. I am apprehensive to leave a review because I don't want them to run out before I am able to purchase another, but it is impossible not to rave about something that will serve me well through the season, and will be waiting for me the next year. This is my favorite flannel I have ever owned, and it wins the draw between my chamois shirt. Please add more styles like this to the organic line.

Nice shirt with a good fit. Very comfortable. Works well as a light jacket. Gibberish added to meet the number of characters guidelines.

The weight of this flannel gives a structured look, perfect for fall and winter. Plenty of room in the shoulders, a bit too generous at the waist for me (size xxl 44 non-vanity size waist)

My husband loves this shirt. Not only is it warm but being a mature adult, he especially likes the 2 breast pockets so his glasses are handy.

Fantastic shirt. Well worth the extra price over the basic flannels LL Bean sells. Limited choice for colors, and at the time of writing it seems that the color choice has been cut down to one. Questionable move as there were quite a few nice colors that would work well year round. Bring back the other colors, please. Please add more colors as well. I'd personally love to get one of each. Regardless, this is one of the best feeling flannel shirts you can buy. It is soft. It is warm. It looks good and feels good. Holds up well in the wash unlike many other flannels.

Nicely cut and made with substantial but not bulky flannel fabric. It looks great after the first washing. I only wish that when I went back to buy another one I would have found the size in a nice color. But that model was just about sold out.

This shirt is beyond comfortable, and the color is striking. It has been many years since I owned a flannel shirt, and it's great to learn the L.L. Bean quality has not suffered, unlike so many other brands.
