The quality seems good, almost llbean quality, but the size is terrible, it runs VERY small

I sent the sweater back for and exchange and by the time they received it there was no sweaters left in stock. So they credited my account

The color blue that you see in the picture is NOT the blue that the shirt actually is it is a much darker blue I would of returned it but was too close to Christmas to do so.

Great look but slightly fitted should actually read as fitted.

I wear XL in RiverDriver and waffle Henleys. This XL item's sleeves are far longer(2-3") and chest fit is a bit larger. Also, not a fan of the chest pocket. Doesn't really fit the style

Ordered mariner blue, color is more of a dark blue. Seams sewn with white thread showing through in places. Would not buy again.

I went to my local store in Madison Wi... pulled it off the shelf and noticed the seam, in 2 places, was coming unraveled. I went home and ordered it online.... and again, seams unraveled....I like it tho

It fit well enough. But the bottom seam was sliced or torn and required some sewing to keep it from coming apart. I did not notice this until after I washed it.

My husband has one of these shirts and my teenage son really liked it so we ordered one for him. But the quality of the material seems less durable, not as soft it honestly feels cheap compared to the one my husband has- they were purchased a year apart. But this still doesn't seem like the quality of products we've received from LL Bean and have been loyal to because of their durability. The shirt has a loop of material sewn into the back collar so you can hang it up if you wanted and it was only hanging on by a thread when I took it out of the package. As this was a Christmas gift, rather than try and return and reorder, I just sewed the loop back on but this is certainly not what I expect from LL Bean. We've had 3 products in 2018 that started coming apart within a month or two. We pay LL Bean's prices because of the expectation of durability and I'm not sure it's worth it anymore. I would not recommend this to a friend

The shirt is short in sleeves. No TALL size is offered. I started doing business with you folks in 1968. My closets and shelves are filled with LL Bean items. Over the last decade or so I have seen a slow, but steady, increase in your pricing, while the quality slowly, but steadily, goes down. I recently purchased a Bean sweater for my wife for Christmas. She tried it on and it shed cashmere like nothing I have seen before. Disappointed in AR.

Placed this order with enough time to receive before Christmas. Long shipping time. Then the package was lost. I was sent out a replacement at no charge which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. Item ends up being too large and I received the original order. So, I need to send both back and they want me to pay for the return. They don't accept exchanges so I need to pay for the replacement and return 2 items back. Such a pain and a bad ordering experience.

I bought two from LlBean and two from Sam's Club Coleman brand, the fleece from Coleman is tight weave and soft, LlBean thin and rough. No comparison.

My husband likes this shirt for its warmth, but it sure runs big. Way longer than his other waffle style/ sweatshirts. It ends up looking sloppy for such an expensive shirt.

This is the perfect henley until you realize how long it is in the back. Its not pictured well but the back of the henley is 2-3in longer than the front. You'll have to wear an oversized jacket or flannel to hide the length. If you wear any regular jacket in your size, it looks so odd with the shirt's material hanging out the back. This should be the same length around your waistline so you can proper layer over the henley.
Honestly, super disappointing. I'll have to get this altered to be the same length. Other than that, its a great henley.

I bought this as a gift for someone. He returned it. He stated that it fit well but it was not as warm as he expected.

I ordered a large and it fit like a tent--very large. Seems that the LL Bean sizing for large runs really big. I recommend you order one size down from what you normally order.

I ordered this shirt in an XL-Tall for my brother's Christmas present. All of his LL Bean shirts are sized XL-Tall and they all fit him well. The shirt arrived: it was a fluffy tunic that went down to my brother's mid-thigh and was about twice the width of his actual torso. We joked he could put a belt on it and wear it as a winter mini-dress. Great quality and very warm, like a hug from a sheep, but just wildly enormous. I sent it back and ordered a Large Regular instead. What arrived was an XL Regular. This one wasn't tunic length, but he was still swimming in it (while sleeves were borderline short for him). I'm sending it back today :(
Best bet: Order a size down. If you have a slim or athletic build, don't plan on it being close-fitting enough to keep you warm.

I'm so bummed with this sweatshirt. It's too big for my boyfriend and now I want to exchange for the same color, but Large Tall and it's not an option. It was a Christmas present and now he will have to pick out something else.

I'm 6'1", 180 lb, 33 years old and my wife ordered me a medium. I must not be the target demo for LL bean because the clothes are comically large. Its like they removed some fabric from the sides but left the arms flabby. The sleeves were slightly too short as well. The whole shirt fits and looks odd (front vs back tail too). The quality was OK I guess, but the shirt was primary polyester. Honestly I was pretty disappointed because my perception of LLB was totally off.
