This is about what I expected. It's comfortable, warm and looks good. Sleeves are long enough, which is important to me at 6'5! I would recommend this product.

Sizes are too big it is not made for all ethnicities

True to size. This item fits me loosely enough to fit over any reasonable number of layers the temperature may call for. I'm looking forward to years with the casual garment.

Nice fleece that fits great, warm and comfortable. Will be great by itself in early Spring or Fall. Recommended! (Gave four stars because a snap pocket would be better than Velcro).

Really liked the weight and feel but the large that I ordered is too big through the shoulders and arms. Returning for a medium. Hope it fits.

Looks good, warm, and fits well around my chest and shoulders but just a tad long.

My husband is always cold. So, when I saw this top I figured I get it for him for Christmas. He didn't notice any difference inside the house, but he wore it one windy weekend washing his car in NJ winter. He said it kept him warm. So, I would buy more for him when this goes on sale.

Bought this shirt for my son. It is so soft I considered ordering one for myself. A size small would be a good fit except the sleeves, the cuffs are useless . They hang loose have no stretch (spandex or similar elastic material), if the fit was snug the elements such as hay, sawdust, feed would be kept out. Pushing sleeves up when in water, they will not stay up. Unfortunately I have experienced this problem with other mens long sleeved cuffed (banded) knit items. This may not be an issue to most of the folks. So very sorry, better cuffs and I would buy several.

Winters are super cold in NH and this henley, with its extra layer of warmth, makes layering less cumbersome for my special needs adult son. It runs true to size and washes well. Wish there were more colors to choose from.

Good-looking and warm, it's actually warmer than some of my cotton sweaters. One thing to consider though is that if you're a tad wide around the mid-section, the "slightly fitted" taper can create a bit of a tight look.

This is the first of these that I've purchased. I have several of the river driver shirts and was curious about how this one compared. It is equally warm and a good deal softer, but also much bulkier. I haven't decided whether I will purchase another one. The price seemed a tad high, but LLBean quality is always high.

This is such a good shirt. Well made, warm, the color was unexpected (it's sold out now) but not unpleasant. One star off because it seems to run small. My husband is not a big guy, 5'10" about 160, so we got the medium (his normal Bean size) and it's snug. Like too snug. Ordering another today in a large because it really is a nice shirt. Perhaps we're old and like our clothes not to be form fitting, just thought I'd let y'all know. Thanks, LLBean! How about a women's shirt like this, eh? ;)

Read the polyester content before purchasing; thinking that can't be true, that's the fleece. It is true. Aimed at sending it back because for some reason polyester itches me to death. Wore it outside in cold 38* weather with hat. Was comfortable. Without hat not so. Wearing it inside got hot very quickly and felt body suffocated. Got itchy. Kept shirt but will only be able to wear in cold cold conditions. So now I know why polyester makes me itch; lack of breathability. Any how. The reason for only 3 stars is the polyester %. But if electric should go off; it may keep me warm.

I have a couple of these and they are my goto's during SoCal winters. I would give them 5 stars except for the fact that the chest pocket is less than 1 inch too shallow for a normal (albeit large nowadays) mobile phone. I has a velcro system for keeping it in your pocket but if the pocket is too shallow, it cannot close so its useless.

The shirt itself is very high quality; however, the fit is not true to size at all. I ordered a reg-med size based off the sizing guide and have been wearing a medium for pretty much every other brand, but I felt like I was swimming through this as soon as I put it on despite having a 40.5" chest while the sizing guide say medium is for a 38"-40" chest.

It's just too big for me. Not sure when I would wear it.

Fit and material is good, however the Henley neck button section would not stay open. The flap would not stay open.

If you're a big guy and you'll be working outside in bad weather, you may want this shirt. It's BIG (size down at least one size). It's heavy. The outside texture is a bit rough. I ordered it for my husband and am returning it because he wants side pockets (it has a chest pocket); in any case we would've had to exchange for a smaller size. We exchanged instead for a men's waffle-knit shirt, which is not as heavy, not at all rough, and still quite warm--but not lumberjack character like this Katahdin. In any case, it also has no side pockets, so I wear it. My new favorite winter shirt.

You just have to guess at size one day you are a mexium next day you are a large

Nice look, however much too long. Returned for regular size, however the collar did not fit correctly. It would not stay open. I buy large Tallinn your shirts , which fit nicely. I am6' 2" and 185 lbs.

It is too long in the arms, but very warm it has pockets, which makes it very convenient

ALL colors should be in TALL sizes! continuing problem

Not a perfect fit for me. Medium tall was to short on the arms. Large tall is not a great fit on the body. I try LL Bean every few years and still find the long sleeve products stingy on arm length. I've been fortunate with other manufacturers not to find this problem.
