The fabric was lovely, heavy and warm. The size ran very small. I ordered the same size I always do and it lacked about 4 inches from buttoning. If I were going to order again, I would go up 2 sizes.

The size was large for the normal size shirts I have ordered before - extra long in the sleeves

Sent back twice because sizing wasn't right, over looked that the blue color wasn't what I expected. Decided to order for a third time but got the gray one instead, which fit perfect, but the quality of material felt less, kept that one. I know that the pandemic has been difficult for everyone for different reasons and the quality of this shirt highlights LLB's

I order this shirt in a size large, and it is definitely plenty big but I figure it might shrink some so it's probably ok. On a side note, I'm 5' 11" and 195. The chamois material is heavy and thick like a nice chamois shirt should be. This shirt would be an easy five star except that is is unusually long. So long that you can't wear it untucked without looking like you're wearing a shirt-dress. And it doesn't have the typical rounded bottom in the front and rear, it is squared off and cut up the sides - like a shirt dress. So anytime you wear it it must be tucked in, which is disappointing.

Chamois shirts have been my cold weather shirt for 20 years. I literally own 25 of them, with multiples of my favorite colors. They used to be a 5 star product. I bought this new color in the fall of 2021. I noticed as soon as I opened the package that the fabric was a lighter weight. Its not as warm, which disappointed me. Its still a nice shirt but: The product that I love is no longer available. I'd rather the quality remained and the price went up a couple of bucks.

I have at least 8 chamois shirts from LL Bean. They are the best I've ever owned. I'm giving this shirt 3 stars because the color that's shown is very much lighter ( almost a turquoise) than the actual color that I received, which is very dark.

I ordered my size and what arrived was huge. I returned it to an EB store where I tried on my size in another color and it fit perfectly, but the store doesn't carry the color I want. So I reordered another one on line in my size. What arrived is still quite large, but I'm tired of trying to replace a favorite shirt so I'm going to do the best I can to try to shrink the one I reordered and hope it fits well enough to become another favorite shirt.

I like to wear my shirts untucked and these are somewhat long.

Nice color and fabric but cut was way too roomy for me and it is very long in the body so I can't wear it untucked. I returned it for a slightly fitted version.

I bought the green and navy colored chamois and love this shirt, it's really comfortable, perfect on my shoulders, arms and collar but it's ridiculously long! This would've been 5 stars for me but this is NOT a traditional shirt length (I bought the regular not the tall)

We were optimistic about finding a brand with a medium tall option. Sleeves are ALWAYS too short for my husband who it tall and lean. However the MT was still HUGE on him and the sleeves barely long enough. The length was insanely long. Sadly sending these back and still looking for a good option for a slimmer fit with long sleeves. Great color and feel of fabric.

I loved a brick-red chamois shirt which I bought years ago, but I wore it out. I monitored the LL Bean website to see when that color might become available. In September I bought a chamois shirt with the solid Deep Wine color, which appeared dark red in the catalog. When it arrived I found the color to be even darker and more brownish than it appears in the catalog and less cheerful than my previous brick-red chamois shirt. Without trying it on, I returned it promptly. I hope that LL Bean will offer a more cheerful solid red men's chamois shirt soon. I know that LL Bean has cheerful plaid-design chamois shirts, and I have one of those, but I like the solid color shirts as well.

I've been buying the "L.L.Bean green" chamois shirt for 50 years. I lost mine last fall and am now told that it is a "discontinued" color. This is the color that most of your staff wore when the weather cooled off! This is the product and the color that most represents L.L. Bean clothing and it's been discontinued? Hard to believe.

Generally pleased with this shirt which I use as an overshirt. However, the cuffs fray badly long before there are any other signs of wear. Do not last sufficiently long before this occurs therefore I consider them unsatisfactory.

My husband is unhappy that the sleeves shrunk up with this shirt. He has had other Chamois shirts from LL Bean but never had a problem. Something has changed.

Terrific shirt that would be 5 stars except for its fit, which gets 1 star. I have three other shirts like this one, in differing colors, all in large, and on me they are roomy for layering yet fit well. This shirt arrived in a size large that is so very very large that I looked like a pre-schooler in his dad's over shirt. Order at least one size smaller than usual.

I returned my first chamois shirt as after the first wash it shrunk by about 2" on the sleeves. I have purchased this item every year for at least the last 10 years and have never seen it shrink like this. So I got a replacement which I've washed once and did not put it in the dryer even though washing instructions say you can put it in the dryer. I was disappointed since I've never experienced this issue in the past. You need to speak with your material supplier to provide you with a fabric that will not shrink after washing.

Color for the chamos was more brown or tan. Not what appeared in catalog.

I have purchased two other LL Bean Chamois shirts in the past. The latest shirt recently delivers was too big but more importantly the shirt felt like heavy wool and not a softer chamois. Things must have changed.

Nice stitching and fabric but XL was more like XXL. Sleeves much too long and body was huge.

This shirt is cozy and well made, but they run long! I returned a large, which I was swimming in. The medium fits well across the chest, but still hangs a good 3 inches below my jacket. I'm going to look into getting it hemmed, but I wish there was a shorter option!

It would be fine except it is much too big. I hope it will shrink when washed. Otherwise, I'd return it, except I have lost the purchase number. I hope I'm not just out seventy bucks!

I love this shirt - but!!! I ordered a medium and it fit perfectly out of the bag; but after the first washing it had shrunk enough to be unwearable - tight, sleeves short, a stretch to button. So, I ordered a large, which out of the bag was way too big, which I expected. I then washed and dried it once, and it had shrunk to the size of the out-of-the bag medium, fitting perfectly. The lesson is, buy it a size too large and expect it to fit after it's been washed. I called customer service about this, and, being LL Bean, they of course agreed to a return and refund of the shrunken medium.

I really want to like this shirt. It is a good weight for winter. But the sleeves are so short it is almost unwearable. I was hoping to wear this as an overshirt, but the fit is very off. Sorry but I cannot recommend.
