Great shirt but the sizing is a little confusing or misleading. I got a large," 5'10 190lbs" and it is too big. Not sure if the med was just right but love to shirt. Hopeing to shrink it a little.

This shirt is one of my husband's favorites. He says it keeps him warm and the wind can't cut through it. It also is rain repellent. What I don't like about it are the collar and the cuffs. They tend to fray after about one year of wear and I end up having to throw the shirt out before it's really worn.

Found this shirt near perfect except for sizing and color. Bought the chamois color in large and found, as others have, it runs almost a size larger than indicated and the color is more yellow/tan than the lighter buckskin shown in the main pic. A little disappointed there. Washing did bring the sleeves down a bit which helped.
The overall quality of construction, materials and comfort is tops so I now have a nice, light weight 'Shirt Jac'. Next time I'll go for the Classic Chamois Shirt.

I have 10 of these shirts I have bought over the past 8 years. All of great quality and size. But this one, the sizing is off. Its a bit large for a size large. The sleeves are somewhat longer and it just looks big on me. Now all of my other chamois are larges, but this one seems a bit too large. i washed it in hot water and it shrunk a bit, so it will work for now especially with layering. I tried a Med on, it was pretty tight, so that wont work.
Still a very good shirt, but needs some sizing specs that are better. Or hey make it back in the USA again.....

My medium fits more like a large. Also a little long. Nice material, though, and good quality.

Good shirt. But if you want medium, order a small. Sizing is way off.

Great shirt, everything we wanted.
However, the sizing seemed off.
We actually bought two and both were super huge.
If we ever get the chance to visit a store, we will buy these shirts

My husband has many of these shirts and they last for a ling time. Ordered a new one in the same size and it was massive. Looked funny. Has this shirt been changed in sizing or something? Not sure if this particular shirt was labeled wrong maybe. Sent back. Husband is considering calling customer service for advice what to maybe get instead if tgere has been changes.

Bought the shirt because I was in between medium/large for the slim chamois. This medium fit nicely except the body length. I knew it was supposed to be roomier but it went down an inch past my inseam. Had to double check that I didnt accidentally order the tall.

The d
shirt does not launder well and even shrank a little. I have been wearing the LL Bean chamois shirts for many years but the quality seems to be changed to a poorer material

I love my chamois shirts, I have bought them for years and love when the cool weather comes.
This new shirt is not as thick as they used to be even compared to the one I bought last year. These shirts are expensive and customers should expect the same quality.

Gift for my dad, I wish I could say he loved it, but he didn't. He said it wasn't as soft and didn't lay as flat as a different popular brand. Our family loves LL Bean, it outfits all of us, but this one was not a favorite.

I have purchased this same size, same chamois shirt for my husband every year for decades. This mens medium regular is on the smaller side this time. He has lost weight since my last purchase too!

Old chamois cloth shirts were made in El Salvador, my latest on comes from Sri Lanka. The El Salvador shirts were more rugged.

This seems like a lovely shirt, the fabric is soft and comfortable. However the shirt is constructed for someone with a belly, 34" or larger, and I have a 32" waist. Returned.

The shirt is nice except you can't iron it. The care tag says do not iron.

I bought the deep wine color in L. It fits like an XL, quite loose, like a shirtjac. It was made in Sri Lanka. The arms are too long. I can't say I'm in love with the feel of the fabric. I was expecting a softer fabric.

Great Shirt but Tall is Too Tall for me. Reordered as a Regular, and it is Perfect. Women have complained for years that sizing is not standard between brands. I guess we have achieved gender equality.

I have purchased these shirts for my husband for years. They have always been a little longer than other brands. Now they seem to be made shorter in length. This is disappointing. We will not be ordering this shirt any more.

needed a large tall. but the tall was not only longer (sleeves and arm length) but also torso. just needed longer sleeves and length. did not need more room at abd. Not all tall people are "heavy"

This is a beautiful shirt but I believe this shirt is not sized right. I believe it really is an XXL. When you lay it on top of the XL it is bigger!

I bought this exact shirt last year for my boyfriend, same size, just different color and the size difference is crazy! He is swimming in the new one, at least four inches bigger in every direction. Size large for reference. The old one didn't shrink or anything like that- it is very disappointing. Bought two other shirts, a Henley and a waffle long sleeve and they both need to be exchanged for a smaller size as well. He is a large is all brands, never really an issue, so these are very strange especially compared to last year's sizing.
