After 33 years and several hundred washings, I replaced my old, LL Bean chamois shirt. A pleasure to see the new one is the same high quality.

This shirt is great. Softer than the old one I had that it is replacing. Heavy enough to be used as a light outdoor shirt yet not too heavy for indoor use. I may buy another.

My husband lost a lot of weight, that he hasn't gained back. It was time to get a new wardrobe.

This shirt is phenomenal and has been a consistent staple across decades. The classic chamois color is evocative of bygone, halcyon days on Little Sebago. Soft and thick - it's like being embraced from behind by your guardian angel. I highly recommend the Portuguese flannel, chamois shirt. I may sound effusive in my praise, but it is entirely earned. I can't wait to buy the Navy one.

I've been wearing Bean's chamois shirts since the 1950s. I use it as an overshirt. The wear I get is at the elbows so I have patches put on which extends their life for a few more decades. Needless to say, I love these shirts.

This is my third LL Bean chamois shirt. I left the last one in Italy and I bought this to replace it. It is soft, warm has excellent drape. It is the best shirt I ever owned.

GREAT SHIRT. FLANNEL IS SOFT & WARM. WASHES WELL DID NOT SHRINK. LOVE THE COLOR. IT IS SLIGHTLY OVER SIZED TO WEAR OVER LAYERS, BUT THAT IS FINE WITH ME. NEXT FALL I MAY BUY A COUPLE MORE DEPENDING ON COLOR.

This was a gift from my wife, and I really loved it. It is a Tall size, and fit very nicely. It is warm, soft to the touch and comfortable to wear. I like it, my wife likes it; what more could I ask?

Absolute loved the shirt and will buy others. One complaint I have with LLBeam is their inconsistency with sizing in general. I should have been able to order the large and have it properly fit. But the amount of shrinkage varies garment to garment with your clothing in general. I have learned to order one size larger that I normally wear.

My husband loves these shirts. They are very soft, yet warm. This shirt is very well made and looks dressy or casual.

Great shirt. Very warm heavier than average flannel shirt. Fits well. Washes easily and maintains its shape. I dry it on low heat and sometimes hang it when ever so slightly damp so it doesn't get any wrinkles sitting in the dryer after the cycle has completed.
I like it so much, I bought two more!

I bought two chamois shirts for my son-in- law for Christmas. He had already returned two shirts I had given him from another "outdoors" company due to poor fit. He loved the color, style and fit of these shirts. The material is rich and warm. The fit is great.

I have been buying these shirts for my husband for about 7 yrs now. He basically lives in them. They are now running small. When they shrink, which they will do, they are now too small. All these years LLBean has had a great shirt. WHY do you have to go and mess with it? It costs LLBean money to ship it to me, then pay to have it shipped back, then pay to ship me another the next size larger. How is this cost effective? By the way, his weight has not changed.

I have 7 of these shirts in different colors. They are my absolute favorite winter shirts. I returned to your website to buy a replacement for my forest green shirt which finally is wearing out but found out that LLB is discontinuing this color! The best color ever in your chamois flannel shirts and you're discontinuing it? I spoke to Customer Service and expressed my disappointment so hopefully my comments were passed on to Marketing. Please reconsider this decision.

Anyone growing up in the 70s may have come across what was called a CPO (Chief Petty Officer) Jacket. The LLBean chamois, which has been around since the 20s, is very much a CPO jacket. I don't know what came first, but I love mine.

Nice looking shirt made with material of excellent weight for winter wear. No wonder it is one of LL Bean's most popular purchases.
