Initially I really liked this sweatshirt but was quickly disappointed when the collar began to show significant signs of wearing around the neck. It has become a shirt I will only wear around the house.

The collar is too high and looks strange to me; wish it were lower as item is beautiful

This sweatshirt is incredibly comfortable. I was incredibly disappointed when after the first wash it began to come apart. It looks like the colored thread is incredibly fragile so that it frays and exposes the polyester filling underneath. I bought my wife the same sweatshirt women's fit and the exact same thing happened to hers (separate washing) gentle cycle, cold wash, no agitator, no it is not my washing machine. Very disappointed bc I still like the sweatshirt I just wish it could last more than one week of use.

Baggy in the lower half and the waste band itself is saggy at the waste making for an awkward and unappealing fit, although it does fit ok around the shoulders and chest so I don't know if getting another size would help.unfortunately I set it aside too long after initially trying it on and not liking it and the return window has closed.

If this is anything like the women's, pass. I bought 2 different styles of Beans quilted sweatshirts. They both faded after a few washings and the cuffs shrunk up and were tight. They both fit very boxy and where I normally like a looser fit, they just didn't lay right. I donated after 6 months as just were not comfortable to wear.

This was one of my favorite sweaters. It fit great, looked nice, and went with almost anything. Unfortunately, the fabric began tearing after less than two years of ownership. I was going to buy another color this winter, but obviously did not because of the quality concerns. Pretty disappointing.

When I ordered this item, I expected a new garment. What your company sent me was an item that must have been returned. It was not in a plastic bag, did not have labels or tags, was not even folded, just stuffed into the green shipping bag. And somewhere along the way, it got dirty. This is not what I have come to expect from your company, and you have lost my trust.

Tall is much, much longer. Regular shrunk in a couple washings to be too short but tall fits like a dress for me at 6'1". Not sure if there is a happy medium

This sweatshirt was not satisfactory. My husband did not like the snaps or the LLBean logo on the front.

The fit was too 'relaxed'. Sent it back b/c there was a huge amount of extra fabric in the belly.

This quilted sweatshirt is poorly manufactured and as with any pullover that I have purchased from LLBeans the sleeves are TOO LONG ! Which when someone makes a comment . It usually is the sleeves are TOO LONG !!!!! I should of listen to these comments before I purchased one.

I bought a gold one back in October 2020 and I loved it so much bought a dark charcoal one immediately as well. I love the size and the feel, it is very comfortable. I thought about ordering a third as well. However, with the antique gold sweater, one of the elbows has already blown. I feel like it should be of better quality considering it has been about five months since I purchased it and I lead a very boring sedentary attorney lifestyle (no hikes in the woods, or wearing during manual labor etc). Again, I love the feel and fit, as it is hard to find good fitting clothes for a tall guy, but I am disappointed with the elbows giving out already. I have a hand-me down LL Bean wool sweater that my dad had for 10 years that I have had for 20, and it is still in great condition, was sort of hoping to get a bit more use out of this purchase. That said, if I could switch it out with another one, I probably would.

This is my second review of this sweatshirt. I own 2 of them. The charcoal grey one isn't as bad as the yellow(gold) one, the yellow (gold) one is not wearing very well at all. I'm getting holes in it and the seams of the cuffs are coming apart. The sad part is that this is a very comfortable sweatshirt. I'm not sure if the yellow one is just a bad one because, like I said, the charcoal one doesn't seem to be as bad although it does have a few holes starting and I wear each of them about the same amount. I've owned sweatshirts from llbean before and they have lasted years and years. These ones aren't even 6 months old and I won't be able to wear them much longer if they (especially the gold one) keep getting holes in them and fraying/wearing at the seams. I wash them in cold on gentle because I typically wash them with my bamboo undershirts and they must be washed on gentle. Anyway, if you don't care that it will be worn out within 6 months, by all means, this is the pullover for you. I just think it should have lasted longer. Very disappointed.
