So far, I like this sweatshirt, although the weather has been too warm to wear it. The material feels good, and I like the color and style. It fits a little long in the torso and somewhat loose, but still acceptable. It will be great with another layer underneath for added warmth. Should be great for walking in cooler weather. I'm happy with my purchase.

I ordered the storm blue for my husband and it is def darker in person then what's pictured. The picture shows it as a light blue but in person it's a darker green/blue. Was really hoping for it to be the light blue In the picture.

Very nice well made shirt. The material is very comfortable. I have only one small problem. I find the arm holes very small. Making the shirt a bit snug in the arm pit area. Otherwise great job

I love everything about it, except it is very hard to put on because the fabric pulls against whatever cloth your undershirt or other shirt is made of.

Great shirt, received many compliments. The snaps are hard to snap, almost impossible at times. I have two of these shirts and the snaps are the same in both, last week I was at the LL Bean store in Kansas and checked these shirts .....same, snaps hard to get snapped. But, is a great shirt, comfortable and warm. Wish the snaps were of a better quality though. Would be 5 stars then.

Soft and warm sweat-shirt, true to color, solid cuffing on sleeves and waist. Warm and soft when buttoned up the neck. It does fit a little too slim in the upper half, however, and I wish that there was more room across the upper chest, under the arms and to the back. Tight fitting -- it will stick to your tee shirt when you take it off. Probably will fit under an outer layer easily but not when worn over a bulky layer.

Hurray to L.L. Bean for once again offering a sweatshirt with a henley collar. For a $70 sweatshirt, I expected a more luxurious material. I guess that the costs for stitching a hand pouch at the stomach pushed up the purchase price. I don't value the hand pouch.

Good product. runs small though. I originally ordered a medium, had to return for a large. Return and exchange process very easy.

Love these sweatshirts, unfortunately the three I own have worn prematurely on the arms,
Based on the wear I cannot highly recommend.

The color match is excellent compared to pictures. This "purple" iteration is nearly exact to examples presented online. The waffle hatch is unusual; cuffs and waistband well executed with clean appearance. This medium weight sweatshirt closes well with snaps and the handy kangaroo pouch is a convenient stuff sack. Shoulder/Armpit are tighter than an XL would suggest. Snug over light cotton pullover. Question: The soft hand and light woven fabric don't suggest "durable". A fine looking "dress sweat" with all features well designed.

I bought one of these in 2023 and loved it. But it started getting small holes in the quilted pattern, before too long. I liked them so much I bought another 2 this year. Unfortunately, the blue one I bought, last month, already has a hole, directly on the front of the shirt (Photo attached). Very comfy sweatshirt but fabric quality could be better.

This is a very attractive shirt. I had purchased 4 of them in different colors for Christmas gifts. I do think they were way overpriced for their quality.

I don't believe the quality of this product is up to the standard of other LL Bean products. On one of my sleeves there is a significant tear. I work an office job and simply wear this over a dress shirt for warmth. It is warm, but it already has a tear and it shouldn't. It is not like I am working outdoors or wearing on a hike. I also reached out to Bean about the tear and they made it pretty crystal clear that it was not their problem.

Great sweatshirt. Nice and warm in winter months. My only complaint is the microfiber material will spin off in long threads (so thin they are hard to see) which are near impossible to collect and dispose of and get worse as the sweatshirt wears.

I really want to love this. It's comfortable and looks like a great piece. But it's extremely fragile and the lining is a different color from the very thin shell--with the result that even a small snag will ruin the look of the shirt. Pretty bummed, because if it were made of tougher stuff it'd be a long-term keeper.

The quality of the fabric has gone down so much in the past few years.

Warm, fits very well .
Found it to be developing loose or bunched threads not long after the wearing .

I have three other examples of this product. They fit well; this did not. Ridiculously small compared to the earlier iterations. C'mon, Bean.

I bought this for my husband. He usually wears a large in all brands, so I ordered large in this. He tried it on and it looked like he was wearing a giant dress! The shoulders and arms were OK, but it was very long and the lower torso area was enormous! It would be too big even for someone with a bit of a belly. Returned it and won't be repurchasing. We liked the style and color, however.

These have nice fabric. The snaps at the collar are slightly awkward to operate but that's no big deal. The main issue is the sleeves are way too long and there is no good way to turn them back. They are at least 3 inches too long and I wear a typical dress shirt sleeve length for my overall size. So the sleeves bunch up along the arm which looks sloppy. This is apparent in the photos where the models either have the sleeves partially pushed up their arms (which looks strange and makes no sense as this is a cold weather layer) or they have the cuff at their wrist and there is excess material bunched up through the arm. Why do LL Bean and other manufacturers now make overly long sleeves on sweaters, pullovers and fleeces? In most cases, I find the sleeves three inches longer than similar garments from ten years ago. It ruins the look and neat appearance of many such garments. If they are made in such a way that the cuff can be doubled back on itself, this problem isn't so bad. Unfortunately, that usually isn't the case.

Great mid layer with respect to warmth and style as one would expect from LLB. Compared to the fleece tops, this one runs pretty big. It fit my shoulders just fine but hangs incredibly long and loose in the torso. Probably a good fit for someone who isn't terribly active but unfortunately this one is not going to be something I wear all that often.

Good product, but I weigh in at 165 pounds and I swim in a waist that is too large and had to have it taken in because my shoulders do fit the large. Extra elastic to the waist to snug it in would benefit us healthy slim types.

I have purchased LL Bean clothing for the last many years. I would buy items like this but do not want wear clothes with someone else's name on it. So, if you would take your logo off these items, I would buy them (your phone operator tells me that I would not be able to take them off). Also, it is sad that you no longer offer those great cotton sweaters. No one else ever offered sweaters like these. I have six which are all wearing out and would replace them if that were possible.
