I bought this in the full zip version which may no longer be available. I found it to be an excellent choice for late spring, early fall wear. fit was perfect and comfortable to wear. However, like many of the products with stand up collars if you don't shave every day or have a heavy beard as I do, the cotton collar trim will soon begin to fray so that it actually becomes unsightly. I really wish they would use some material less prone to such rapid wear.

Had to return this. The sizing was more like "big and tall" instead of just tall. My husband is tall but not heavy-the fit around the waist and trunk was very baggy. Sleeve length was great so he didn't want to risk going a size smaller. He wears a medium in everything, and this was not sized like a medium

Sleeves too short. I ordered Tall for my 6-2 grandson and will have to return it as too much of his wrists are uncovered.

It is very light weight- not as warm or sturdy as I would have hoped

Nice material and felt long lasting, but it was pretty baggy and poorly fitting. I ordered a medium tall (6'7" and 200 lbs), which is definitely my size, but this would be a better product if the fit were more tailored. I returned it and am getting the sweater fleece pullover, which is a tailored fit, instead.

All is great except the body is way to long, rechecked the label to make sure it wasn't a tall and it was a regular.

I wear LL Bean shirts almost exclusively, year around. So when I ordered these two shirts I expected them to be of the same high quality. One detail I like on LL Bean shirts is they have locker loops for hanging up the shirt. These do not, and I find it is a real irritation every time I hang up the shirt. The other irritation was the unique washing/drying instructions which meant I have to wash them separately from my other shirts. So I canceled the two that were on backorder. I'll keep the two that were delivered and probably send them to the VVA for reuse by someone else.

I ordered XXL because that's the size he wears in all cllothes. The pullover was way too large. He wore it Christmas day and that was it. Just must have needed XL.

This fits well. I usually wear a large in similar items from other stores. The medium tall fits me perfectly and I do love that. Unfortunately the quality of this just doesn't seem to be up to the high standards I have for LL Bean products. The threads appear to be loose and I can see that it is not as durable as other similar layers I have from Bean. For $79.00 I would recommend a different product to do this job.

Great soft fabric and nice looking sweatshirt but did not care for the kangaroo pocket. It gapes open awkwardly and looks silly. Two hand pocket would have been better and stayed closer to the body or better yet, lose the pockets altogether and make this a more versatile piece for casual or business casual wear.

I've only worn this sweatshirt a few times and yet managed to put a hole through it in simply pulling it on. It is warm and comfortable but the outer fabric is thin and fragile.

I've previously purchased this shirt twice in the same size with a perfect fit. The one I purchased this year online in the same size runs significantly smaller. Otherwise it's a great shirt!

I've bought 5 of these over a two year period. I think they are very comfortable and I like the look. My issue with them is that they don't last very long. Granted, I wore them a fair amount in the California winter, but I would have expected that they wouldn't start fraying after a year of use. The fraying starts at the lower arm seams. The top layer of cloth rubs away and exposes the interior insulation. This then begins to happen on the seams around the neck opening. Obviously, the fact that I bought three, followed by another two the next year, means I liked them quite a bit but that was before all of the holes started appearing.

Too Small. I ordered a button up that was the same size but this was tight.

I received one of these for a gift last Christmas and with fall here I pulled it out for the second time and remembered why it sat in a drawer all that time. I am a 5' 11" male weighing 165 lbs., so you can easily consider me slim with a small waistline. The size i received was medium in tall to accommodate my long arms.
The sweatshirt is constructed such that the armpits are very tight and dig into your armpits because the arm meets the bodice very high on the chest. It is very difficult to both put on and take off this garment. It is also uncomfortable to wear because it continually rubs against your armpit skin. So, if you like this item and want to order it make sure you get the next biggest size.

I bought this sweater a year and a half ago (Oct 2022). It has started to develop small holes throughout and the fabric seems to be unwinding/bundling. I am a bit surprised as my other LL Bean products have held up. I have not put this in the dryer or exposed it to rough conditions.

It's cotton, so its usefulness is limited. Placket is pretty stiff

Excited to see how well this pullover was made. LL bean doesn't have slimmer option. Made fuller for bigger stomachs.

Quality was good but the size was too big. I purchased a LL Bean warm up jacket in the same size and the fit was fantastic! Same size, fit was much too big, I can't figure out how they size their items? This wasn't in my local store so I had to do the internet ordering. The worst part, I got my refund back but it cost me about $15 out of my pocket for shipping both ways, I totally didn't like that!!!

This garment rips so easily. Then after it rips, the fill starts to come out.

I get a lot of compliments for this jumper, but it's longevity it terrible. I'm used to a bit of wear and tear but within a year I was pulling thin little threads out off of it all the time and now the lining is fraying around the cuffs and front pocket. Don't know if I'd buy a replacement at it's current cost. :/

This sweater has worn out faster than any other Bean product I own. It has lost its puffiness and, worse, the seams have come apart just from regular wear and wash. When I attempted to exchange it, Bean refused and told me the wear was to be expected. It's not what I expect, both in terms of wear or in Bean standing behind its products.
