Great fit, really nice shirt. Love the quality and color.

Thought it would run a little bit more fitting and taken in but its wide to wear

I bought this for my husband who is big and tall. When non-specialty stores sell big and tall, sometimes the sizing isnt as accurate as it should be. This sweatshirt was a perfect fit!!

Feels great and the color is just like the picture. A little more loose around the mid section than I like.

This felt really nice and cozy. The fabric is thick and soft. I had to return it however, because the sizing was smaller than expected. I had previously ordered an XL in an LL Bean shirt jacket, but it ran too big and didn't fit my husband (6'2", 235lbs, normally an XL everywhere). I ordered an L in this, expecting the same sizing tendency, but it was too small. This runs like a true Large. I wish LL Bean would get some consistency in their sizing between products, because it is quite frustrating to exchange items, especially since you get invoiced for the return fee rather than just have it deducted from the refund.

Pros: Very comfortable. Relaxed and not grabby at the arm pits. Excellent as a mid-weight layer (probably too light for a serious winter climate). Nice length that extends below the belt line. Cons: Snaps are awkward. Maybe better as a zip? Elbows tend to wear quickly. Maybe add patches? Subject to shrinking. I bought XL. But after washing it once, fit more like a L (which suited me better).

This runs prettt large. I would definitely order a size down if you don't want to look boxy.

Excellent length in the sleeves and torso. True Tall Large. Material is decent and buttons are good quality. One star off for the material, it's almost like a sweatshirt with a checkered pattern stitch

The sweatshirt runs a little small, especially if you plan to wear something under it. My husband generally wears a medium in everything, but we returned it for a large. It fits much better and he really likes the shirt.

It's a great fit and looks good, as well as being comfy. BUT after about a month or so and a couple washes one of the snaps pulled right out of the collar. I was thinking about getting another color, but the backdating on the orders kept me from committing. I would maybe buy another one if they fixed the quality issues that I had and the others I've seen in the previews, but not until then. Never had a problem with any LL Bean products until this one.

I love the looks of these and I usually get some kind of positive comment from people when I wear it. The quality overall is very good and I just love the way it fits. I will say I've washed it twice in the month or so that I've owned it and only worn it a handful of times. Even with following the directions for washing it, I have a little pilling on the front opposite the logo. It's not a huge deal but I expected better from a sweatshirt off this price and with my previous LL Bean experiences. All in all I would still purchase another one.

I am between a Medium and a Large...32" waist and 41" chest. This often makes a medium too tight and a large too big particularly after washing as was the case with this purchase. Thanks to Bean's free return policy I can live prudently to make another purchase. I felt this sweatshirt was too heavy for my needs...looking for something more light weight. This is not a product deficiency only a separation from my purpose.

Sweatshirt is warmer than expected. Nice fit and looks good.

I really love this sweatshirt especially the front pockets. The only problem I have had is that the bottom snap fell apart. So now I have to keep the bottom 2 snaps in place.

Didn't have a good color selection in the store near me.

Warm and just as expected.

I purchased this sweatshirt in the storm color thinking it was going to be a light blue kind of color, but to my surprise it is more of a navy blue with green, like a spruce green. However, this doesn't take away from how soft, comfortable, and nice it is. I think the fit is slightly closer to the body but not "fitted", which is good for me. However, my selection of somewhat small isn't too accurate either. It fits well. I really like to wear it around or when I'm out. I would still recommend this, but keep in mind the storm will be darker than appears.

This top is very sharp. The Storm Blue color is much darker in person than the image online. I'd rather a lighter color, but one isn't available. I'll see if my husband wants to return it or not.

So far, I like this sweatshirt, although the weather has been too warm to wear it. The material feels good, and I like the color and style. It fits a little long in the torso and somewhat loose, but still acceptable. It will be great with another layer underneath for added warmth. Should be great for walking in cooler weather. I'm happy with my purchase.

I ordered the storm blue for my husband and it is def darker in person then what's pictured. The picture shows it as a light blue but in person it's a darker green/blue. Was really hoping for it to be the light blue In the picture.

Very nice well made shirt. The material is very comfortable. I have only one small problem. I find the arm holes very small. Making the shirt a bit snug in the arm pit area. Otherwise great job

I love everything about it, except it is very hard to put on because the fabric pulls against whatever cloth your undershirt or other shirt is made of.

Great shirt, received many compliments. The snaps are hard to snap, almost impossible at times. I have two of these shirts and the snaps are the same in both, last week I was at the LL Bean store in Kansas and checked these shirts .....same, snaps hard to get snapped. But, is a great shirt, comfortable and warm. Wish the snaps were of a better quality though. Would be 5 stars then.

Soft and warm sweat-shirt, true to color, solid cuffing on sleeves and waist. Warm and soft when buttoned up the neck. It does fit a little too slim in the upper half, however, and I wish that there was more room across the upper chest, under the arms and to the back. Tight fitting -- it will stick to your tee shirt when you take it off. Probably will fit under an outer layer easily but not when worn over a bulky layer.
