Excellent boot, lighter than air, like walking on a sponge.

Very comfortable as a casual boot or light duty hiker. No break-in time needed, and the second set of laces was a great idea.

Very comfortable and can be used as a boat shoe. Sole is soft and has no grooves to track debris into house or boat. But this is not a good choice where mud, snow and sharp rocks are abundant and maximum traction and under foot protection is expected .

Very comfortable for walking and hiking. No break in period necessary. The extra long shoe laces are not necessary and have to be double tied to prevent them from coming undone.

Love this boot. I bought it for traveling where I needed good cushioning and ankle support for hiking ruins and cobble stones but also where I had good traction on smooth, wet surfaces such as worn marble. My heavy hikers (LL Bean Crestas) with rugged soles were too slippery indoors.

My husband works in the Stonington work boots all day long. He bought these and says that are the most comfortable boot for him, right off the shelf!

Certainly up to LL Bean's standard of high quality for a fair price. Quite happy with purchase.

They were very comfortable from the start. The heel might be a little too roomy.

What a great boot that didn't even require breaking-in. Took it immediately on the trail, no blisters, no chafing, perfect fit, and true to size. I would definitely recommend this product that was very reasonably priced!

This is a wonderful lightweight hiker, comfortable and ready for the trail right out of the box! I love that they come with 2 pairs of laces and I expect to replace them before I need to replace the boot.

I purchased these to replace a pair of hiking boots that my husband had worn out, and these were his choice due to the styling as well as the durability L.L. Bean is known to provide. He says they are amazingly comfortable, and stylish enough to wear with a polo and khakis to the office. The boots are a keeper!

Comfortable from the first day.Usually takes a week for me to get a pair of shoes broken in, even longer for boots. I wore these all day the first day. Would definitely buy again.

Very nice boot. Fits well. Durable. Sturdy foot support. I would rather have a traditional eyelet lace up rather than the metal tangs as they wear out the laces too fast.

Very lightweight and very comfortable. I would prefer closed loops for the laces rather than the hooks however.

I work In The construction industry, as a commercial Painter. Not needing to have steel toe boots onsite. This hiker boot are extremely comfortable for the 8-10 hour day I have on my feet. Great flexibility and I still have the protection that I need on my feet.

These boots are very light and comfortable. I would highly recommend for anyone who is used to wearing heavy steeled toes boots for their work.

Even without hiking, these are a very nice boot for people who get out and walk on a regular basis--warm, water-resistant, generally comfortable and much easier to get into and out of than my old AAFES Matterhorns. I wish I'd bought them two or three winters ago.

Good quality Maine boots that are just as good in Pennsylvania. They have a stylish look that's fine for walking. Very comfortable with a short time to break-in. I was pleasantly surprised.
