I would buy them again

I have been an llbean customer for years, but have never tried their footware. These were on sale after Christmas and I decided to give them a try. I am glad I did because these are the most comfortable boots I own. I have a long second toe and wide feet and these boots give my toes and feet ample room without being too big. I wear a 12.5 to 13 and ordered these in 13. They are super comfortable and very well made. I wish the other colors were in stock because I'd order others. I hope they bring these back for next season. Great shoe, LL Bean!

I purchased these for my son-in-law. He needed a pair of functional, as well as, comfortable work shoes. THESE FIT THE BILL!!! He was most impressed with how these boots kept his feet fresh and dry while on his IT service routes each day. Thanks LLB for another quality product!!

I live in Tucson so these are ideal. They are very comfortable. These are the first shoes I've bought in 20 years that I didn't have to buy my own expensive inserts. And they keep all the sand out of my socks.

This boot was a great fit and comfortable right out of the box, broke in quickly and is now even better. I wear these boot to work and on family walks in the woods. Great choice for lots of different activities.

These shoes were my first purchase from L.L.Bean and they are by far one of the best chukka boots I've ever bought! They're very comfortable to the sole of the foot due to the cushioned pad which also adds support. The leather is very durable and ages beautifully over time, giving the material a unique look as it ages. It also withstands the elements very well too. I also love the attention to details LLB put into the design of the shoe, through the rugged sole and the clean lines used to give the shoe a classic but modern look. Thanks L.L. Bean!!

I'd been wanting a Desert Boot style shoe but the original Desert Boots have no arch support. This shoe proved to be an excellent substitute.

These shoes appear to be well made and sturdy. Nice leather with an oiled finish that'll patina over time. I found them to be very stiff and required a break-in period. I applied neatsfoot oil to soften the leather and within 6-8 daily wears, they have become more comfortable. Nice looking shoes, IMO.

I've had these for a month now and while they're very comfortable, I doubt I'll get more than 6 months of wear out of them before the sole is worn out. We're not talking excessive walking, just 2 miles a day to work and back with occasional evening walks by the lakefront. The upper seems durable enough, so I'll have to decide if they're worth having resoled when the time comes.

Right out of the box I was disappointed; the leather was so stiff I couldn't get my foot even into the top. After stretch-working the opening I can almost slip into them without "finger-shoehorn". And now I like them - very satisfied. Thanks!
