The slipper was a little snug when I first wore it, but after a few days of breaking it in it fit great. It's not too loose so there's no danger of it sliding off, and it's not too tight either. The leather allows it to conform to my foot which is what I wanted. The sturdy sole makes it able to stand up to the occasional run outside to get the paper or put something away in the garage.

These were a little tight at first, it took a couple of days for them to really loosen up and now they feel great. I would say the only real issue is that the heel is low, but you can see that in the photos when you buy them. Excellent value

These shoes are great. Extremely comfortable, can't wait to come home and put them on. So far the build is also solid enough that I can wear outside on short trips. Add all that with a great price and you get VALUE!

Very comfortable but rugged for a slipper. Nice to have for the New Hampshire winters!

I am a woman and wanted a slipper scuff that I could wear with a sock in the colder months to take the dog for a short walk or to take the garbage out, without having to go to the trouble of lacing on a shoe. I wear a Women's 7.5 B and purchased the 7 in this slipper (which is supposed to be equivalent to a Women's 8.5 Wide). The slipper has an extremely thick removable insole, and when I took it out and put in a different thin insole, it fit perfectly for me to be able to wear it with socks. With the thick cushy insole in the shoe, I can wear the slipper without socks (which maybe I will do in the warmer months). So my conclusion is that the shoe itself runs as expected but that the unusually thick insole makes it seem to run very small. In general this is a very nice slipper at a reasonable price, and I am glad I decided to check out the men's styles. LL Bean needs to add a "What size should I order?" section for this item as they do for their hunting boots, though.

What I love about this pair of slippers is that they are perfect for wearing in wet weather. Walking the dogs on the wet grass in the morning did a number on my other slippers. These are perfect and comfortable too. A great value.

Don't listen to the reviews that say order up a size. I ordered my sons size 13, and I also ordered a 14 because of people saying they ran small. His normal size fit with socks on. He said they were a little snug, but the size larger was way too big. After a couple hours of wearing them in the house, he said they felt perfect. As we speak, he is literally out to dinner with friends, IN HIS SLIPPERS! He says they are wicked comfy!

Sizes do run small. I originally ordered a size 7 which was very snug with very little room for my toes. I returned the size 7 and ordered up to the size 8...which was perfecto ! I would encourage others to order size up. This shoe is very comfy and warm. Great around the house and if I need to step outside for a moment. I encourage anyone looking for comfort, warmth and style in a lounger shoe, look no further this is it ! Great purchase, enjoying these shoes !

I bought these for my new working from home routine. I wear these all day every day. They are cozy, while not being too hot for summer. I'm a 10.5, bought an 11, and it fits great, with or without socks. I even wear them in the yard, and to the store. Their rubber sole gives them a lot of versatility. I highly recommend these.

it was recommended to buy size smaller for half size(I wear 7 1/2, got 7) at first thought were tight but after couple days they were a good fit. Easy on and off, comfy and wear outside for small tasks, (i.e.trash/mail). so far very satisfied, will know more about wear and tear as time passes.

Very nice slippers; they run just a bit (half-size) small. I wear a size 13 and the slippers are just a bit tight in length. Very easy to put on and take off; comfortable to walk in.

Size 14 a bit snug. Kept them and they stretched a bit after wearing to be considered.

Ordered these for my husband because he's very hard on slippers. They look and feel durable and I'm hoping they'll last him more than a year! 4 stars because we ordered his usual size and they were a bit short in length and very tight in width; most likely due to the generous lining. Would recommend sizing up for a comfortable fit. Overall, these are great slippers and the quality is what you'd expect from the Bean. :)

Nice slipper, seems a little narrow where you slip your foot into in the opening(hoping it will stretch a little with more wearing) but otherwise nice comfy & warm, seems durable also.

Bought these for my 6’1” tall grandson who wears a size 10 shoe. These slippers were beautifully made. He especially liked the sole. But the slippers were too narrow and tight at the opening. He wondered if they might stretch out and become more comfortable. My experience is that the shoe should fit properly when new, so I’ve returned them (thanks Zappos!) and ordered a different LlBean style slipper for him in size 11. We’ll see how they work. LlBean slippers are high quality, but this style seems to run small.

I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE WELL-MADE SLIPPER BUT AFTER ORDERING ONE SIZE LARGER THAN NORMAL THEY STILL WERE TOO SMALL.

Likes: quality; chain tread sole; easy on. Dislikes: the insole is so thick it makes the slippers too tight over the top; if you go barefoot, your feet will sweat, but if you wear socks it is just too tight. I replaced the thick furry insole with a leather insole and now they are perfect with socks.

These slippers are very comfortable. I had to exchange them for a larger size. Size guide said i would need a 11, i actually needed a 12 Customer service was top notch.

Excellent slippers. Wish there was some elastic to allow the slipper top to flex over the top of the foot arch. Takes time for it to stretch. Rubbing blisters forming.

They are comfortable to wear sitting around, especially at this time of year, except the heal is too low and so they are more of a scuff than a slipper.

Great slippers but runs small. I wear a size 10 shoe and boot. I have many pair of shoes and boots, various brands, all size 10 and all fit. Order slippers in a 10 and could not get my foot in the slipper. Returned them and ordered an 11. The 11 was tight at first but I kept them hoping for some stretch. They did and fit fine now. So, I really like them, but definitely buy a size up.
