I have a 32-year-old pair of LL Bean's Maine Hunting shoe, still in good shape but with worn-out treads. I decided it was time for some new boots. Do you think this was premature? The new boots arrived earlier than promised and fit perfectly (1/2 size larger than my shoe size). I have used them twice for 2-3 hours each working outside in snow and 20-degree temperatures. My feet were perfectly warm and the traction was good on slick, snow-covered concrete. Great work again by LL Bean. I hope these last half as long as the old reliable ones; I may not.

Comfy, fits great, great style. I'm glad I bought them.

I bought these for my husband, and he says they're warm & comfortable. He plans on wearing them this weekend to shovel after the forecasted blizzard hits the south shore of Massachusetts

Living in upstate New York can be challenging in the winter. These boots keep my feet warm even in sub-zero temperatures. They work well when shoveling and snow blowing. To my surprise, the bottoms don't seem to slip on the snow. I like how you pull on the laces and they get snug around your leg. I purchased a 9 which are a half a size up then the 8.5 I usually wear. They fit me perfectly.

Good looking, tough but light, warm and comfortable.

Wore these at -37 in Alaska and they kept my feet warm and dry.

I own a pair of the original 80s bean snow boots, newer are a "little" different.. Tumbled leather????? Yuk !!! Cheep China !! The 80s boots I own are still going strong.. had to replace liner.HAD to comment on Beans temperature guide for these, bean claims they are warm, 'when active" to minus 45 degrees.The Rubber freezes solid around Zero and much below zero the sole radiates cold into my feet . I WOULD NOT want the Bean boots on if it was that cold unless the insulation was twice as thick.. Id say there good to about minus 15 farenheit

My husband said these are the warmest boots he has ever worn. No more complaints of cold toes after snow blowing/shoveling! True to size!

I bought the boots as a Christmas gift for my son-in-law. Because if the high quality standards L.L. Bean has, the boots were the perfect selection.

Comfortable and well built, now time will tell about durability! I used to buy Wolverine's.

I bought these for my son who lives in snow country. He is pretty warm blooded and scoffed at the "big boots". However, first day back from xmas, in a huge blizzard, he sent me pictures of his boots in the snow! He loves them and said they were perfect in below zero temps. The fit was perfect and hes a medium width size 12.

Light and warm. I have used in my deer stand in temps in the teens. With the right socks, my feet didn't get cold. Lighter than my mickey mouse boots. Great for snow shoeing. I wear 8.5 shoes and ordered size 9. Still breaking in the leather but will get better with use.

I've been a long time customer of L. L. Bean. I've bought many an items over the years with great satisfaction. This is my first pair of Bean Snow Boots. I've worn them once so far this winter and have to say they are as advertised. I love the look and comfort of these boots.

Comfortable and warm. No need to break the shoes in.

Love them! They are a little loose but I also have chicken legs. If I throw on some thick socks everything is fine. I've worn these boots for hours at a time and they are really comfortable. I hike a lot here in Michigan and so far the winter weather is no match for these boots!
