I picked these up as a replacement to my 5 year old Sorels. I've taken them out a few times this season while snowshoeing in temperatures between 20-40 degrees, and they performed well, keeping my feet warm and dry. I picked up a size 10 even though my shoe size is normally 9. I wanted to have a little room in the foot box for allowing airflow moisture to dry, and these worked great. Beyond function, they looked great to wear out for any winter day activity.

Usually wear a 10 1/2. Ordered up to the 11 and the fit was just right. Slightly tight when I ordered them but are breaking in nicely with more use.

As soon as you unbox these boots, it's apparent LL Bean is still doing it right. Yes they are on the heavier and bulkier side, but that's the point. They are purpose built, and expertly crafted. 20 degrees with shin high snow and my feet were almost too warm. Feels like a boot I'll never have to buy again.

They are great winter boots. They kept my feet warm an dry.

Still wearing my boots after 9 years of owning, worn them on the horse farm, hunting trips and fishing. Not much left on the bottom, little slick now but they are still going. Many many hours put in these.

My husband is very satisfied and happy with this purchase. Recently his pair of duck shoe boots from years ago maybe 1980's needed everything but the leather replaced so we sent them to LLBean for refurbishing. Happy with practically a new boot we decided he might need a taller similar boot for our new home in Lake Erie's snow belt. We purchased this boot and hoped it would be comfortable with possibly 2 layers of socks if needed. He has room in the boot for that if needed and has claimed they are quite comfortable for walking and snow-blowing. He wears an 8.5 size in all shoes but has a 9 in both L L.Bean boots.

Fantastic product. Sized up as most recommended and they are slightly too big (bought an 11 for size 10 feet). Better than too small though!!

Bought this boot over 20 years ago, this new version looks almost the same. It has held up so well, gets used every winter, keeps feet warm and dry. We love them!! Hoping we can replace the liners, after 20+ years they're a little worn . Tried to add a picture but it won't load, but they still look great too.

The fit is true, allow for winter socks you will wear. Excellent quality and warmth. Eyelets are rugged and made to last. Good arch support and like the pull tab to put them on.

Ive had my boots for 25+ years. They've had lots of use and still look and feel brand new. Best boots I've ever owned. Buy them once and keep them for life. I remember debating whether to spend the money on them; sure glad i did.

I bought these for my husband, not sure of sizing. At first he thought the 10 was a little big, but they have turned out to be ok because of warm socks and laces. He usually wears a 9 or 9 1/2. The leather is softer than other brands of this style and forms nicely to his ankle. So far, they seem warm.

Always wanted a pair of these, only took 80 years to happen. No snow yet but has been cold enough. I'm sure they will perform as well as all other LL Bean items I have purchased over the years that I have been a customer/fan.

Wanted a warm snow boot. Warmer than the traditional bean boots. Held up well against the Montana and Vermont winters last season

well constructed with quality material. boot performance has not yet occurred because snow season has not yet begun in the Mid-West.

Great for heavy snow. Very warm boots. Worn for hours shoveling snow and sledding with kids and they kept feet dry and warm.

I ordered my boots after our first snow. Anticipating the next storm, I hope to put them to the test but it has yet to manifest. I received them in short order and in great condition. The fit and weight is comfortable. The construction of the boot appears well made. The history of these boots is favorable and with good ratings. I will know to a greater degree once I actually use them.

Great boots. Perfect for cold and wet Chicago weather. I wear them to the dog park for an hour or so at a clip and my feet stay warm and dry.
