Did not fit. This boot is not available in any width other than medium. I need a wider width!

These boots are well made, but run very small. I wear an 11 1/2 and ordered a size 12. I was not able to get it on my foot and had to return it.

This appeared to be a nice boot but I only gave it two stars because it was too wide for my narrow (2A) feet and so I returned them. LLBean used to have several shoes/boots in narrow widths but no longer. The only LLBean boots that I am aware of that come in narrow widths are the Cresta Hikers. I have a couple of pair of the Cresta Hikers and like them very much for summer hiking. They are close to 20 years old. However, I ordered these Snow Boots for winter hiking in the snow - but they are too wide.

Look's like it was not made in the USA because I was looking for the original Maine hunting boots and this boots looks like the closest thing to it but not as nice as my boots of old.

Good quality boot, but to narrow for my right foot and that was a full size larger than I normally wear.

It's a shame, because these boots are well-made, comfortable, and warm, but the tread is worthless in any kind of slush or icy conditions. It's both shallow and slick on anything other than perfect snow. Maybe that's fine in Maine, but not great for me he Pacific Northwest where we get thaw and refreeze cycles fairly regularly after or between snows.

Boots are good but the wrong size. Need to return but hasn't happened yet. Probably need to take the teen to the store.

Just got these boots so admittedly I haven't worn them much yet. They seem okay, but it don't see the same ruggedness and durability as the outgoing Pack Boots. My father gave me his old pair of those and between the two of us they lasted over 30yrs! I'm also wondering why the Snow Boots don't come with an insole and I was surprised to find LL Bean no longer sells their felt in-soles. I may need to find an out-of-house brand. It doesn't feel like there is a lot of cushion in these as they are now. We'll see how they feel after a few rounds of snow blowing and snowshoeing. All-in-all I think they will be alright, but for the price, LL Bean should have kept the Pack Boot.

These boots are great for heavy snow but not so good for general winter conditions. Any small amount of ice or slippery conditions and they are awfully slippery.

I will agree with the specification that they are warm. I will also agree that these boots are also waterproof. Are they more warm or waterproof than any other boot on the market and this worth this premium price? Nope. I wore them on a few days in Vermont where the high was zero degrees and I was not impressed (more than an average winter boot). And I have the an not the most cold tolerant. I was not uncomfortable, so that was good. My biggest disappointment is that the fit is ridiculously poor. These boots are way too wide and just fit incredibly loose. I tried a half size down from my regular size and that was too small and cramped my toes, but maintained this width issue. They're really are just sloppy fitting boots that flop around on your feet no matter the thickness of socks. Thick jeans tucked in them? Nope. Still pretty loose. I even used on of the thickest socks I have, still fit pretty poorly. I feel like if they actually fit better, and didn't just flop oddly - then I wouldn't mind that I paid to much for just average boots. I am not sure I would recommended buying these boots, especially at the price point. Maybe if you get them at a wicked good sale price. Had I not worn them out in the muck, I would have returned them and went with something different.

Boot so far seems to be OK for now. My experience with Bean Boots is the stitches will unravel. My only complaint to date with this boot is the insulation slips and bunches up making fit tight and uncomfortable.

These are decently warm boots but they were so uncomfortable for me. Uncomfortable to walk in, they were pretty wide on me, which is weird because I have wide feet, it almost seems like I got the wrong size but I definitely didn't. The worst part though was somehow, even through socks and layers the top part, like the tongue of the boots and the very top part of the insert, rubbed my shins so terribly! Like no matter what it rubbed the skin off, it was the weirdest problem I've ever had with boots. I ended up donating them, not ideal for expensive winter boots.

Outside aesthetics great , though the critical part is not acceptable. The sole is super thin as well as the liner bottom- est. 1mm under body wt. I can feel individual rocks walking on a gravel drive like I was only walking with Sox. LLBean get your designers to actually try the product, maybe even in the snow. returned this southern version need a rev2 for the N/East.

I was very disappointed in these boots. I expected the quality and fit normally I get from LL Bean footwear, but these boots (now made in China instead of Maine) seem to be a big departure from normal fit and function. They are difficult to put on and take off. The soles are thin and have no arch support or even a hint of form to foot fit. They are not worth the $159 price and hopefully you will revert to your Maine production to recapture quality and fit.

While the quality may be great, it seems so annd I trust LL Bean when it comes to durability, the fit was awful. The circumfrence of the shoe both on the foot and shin was far too great to be considered normal or medium. I wear a medium shoe and have never had an issue before. Also, consider I put on two layers of socks and there was still so much room the boot was slipping, failing to stay in place making even walking difficult.

Nice looking boot no doubt... but, the bottom rubber is very thin.. like your feet are right on the ice n snow. Have to buy n form fitting sole/ arch.. also should be part of the boot... Tread should be Thicker and more aggressive...If you call them ''Snow boots'' then make them snow boots...Make them Great....

These are extremely comfortable winter boots and well constructed. They fit pretty true to size and are very easy to get on and off. The biggest problem is that the soles are pretty thin (lacking in agressive tread) and there are NO insoles in these boots. Due to this, the bottoms of my feet got very cold pretty quickly outside. I would recommend sizing up and getting a set of felt insoles to add to help alleviate this problem.

This is just a regular boot that's built twice as big as a regular boot, then they put this huge insulation sock inside of it. So what you end up with is a tremendously bulky, awkward, uncomfortable boot that, although warm, feels like you're walking in a ski boot. Additionally, LL Bean is having a tremendous amount of problems with their vendors right now but I can't talk about that because they won't post my review.

I thought these were finally the replacement for a pair I loved that were bought in the 80s and no longer made. Not so. These were very narrow, stiff, and without any real heel, uncomfortable to walk in. My hunting buddies and I have waited many years for LL Bean to make that boot again. I still have mine if you need a pattern to go by. See attached photos.

This boot looked nothing like the photo. The Last was very big and bulbous and the boot was very clunky. It clearly looked like a production problem. We sent it back and got the basic LL Bean boot because this boot was too bulky. The length is fine.

Snow boots that are worse than worthless on ice. Therefore worthless as snow boots. Comfortable though. And, not only do you charge us to return, but you spam us mercilessly no matter how many times we "unsubscribe." I will never, ever buy from LL Bean again, and I am warning others.

The eye pulled out of the boot the first time I laced them up. I have been wearing boots like this for over 50 years so I know when something is not up to par.

My husband couldn't get his size 12 feet into these size 13 boots. Why doesn't the manufacturer leave more instep room at the vamp?

Snow boots?, frozen water?, and sometimes slush?, upper leather not waterproof.?.. ok, so we have to buy the wax and wax them. ourselves....great...Soles are super thin, you can feel every pebble, rock n stones n twigs.... not made for walking...my opinion, look great but, the thin sole was something I can't deal with or fix... back they go... buyer beware.
