I really had expected more from these slippers as every other item that I've purchased over the years have been great. The inside quickly became matted and worn out over just a couple months. The toe area failed just under one year. Don't try to return for a refund if near a year, customer service will sit on them until the one year mark has passed. They will call to tell you it is too late and even if still inside the return period, they are too worn. Um, yeah, they are worn out because the quality sucks.

Poor quality.
After less than one year, the bottoms split from the sides and the slippers now have a large hole on one slipper and a smaller hole on the other.
These were purchased to replace a pair of many-years-old camp moccasins which were well-loved and well-worn. Because the camp moccasin ties tend to come undone, decided to get this style without ties. BIG mistake.

Less than two months of wearing inside the house, and they have completely ripped apart. And I have to pay $6.50 shipping to return a defective product? Outrageous. Don't waste your money.

Too narrow as I need 12 and EE wide but no avail. Went for 13 but too narrow. Returned this item back to LL Bean. Sorry

I was very disappointed by these slippers and by LL Bean.
They only lasted one full winter and the following winter one of the seams broke, resulting in a 3" long hole in the right slipper.
Since I only used the slippers in the coldest winter months their overall 'mileage' was a handful of months, way fewer than 12.
I assumed that LL Bean would stand by the quality of their product, but when I went to the store I was told that I had owned the slippers for more than 12 months and that they would do nothing about them.
LL Bean products and customer service had a reputation for excellence and I guess things changed.
Sad.

Only worn around the house first thing in the morning and late in the evening, these stretched in width to the point that I couldn't keep them on my feet. I would literally walk out of them. This was only after two months! Pass on these. I went back to a pair I'd worn for the two previous years and they were purchased at a discount store.

Size just fine but shape did not match the normal curve of foot >>> very uncomfortable. Material of sole caught on wood floor >>> potential fall hazard. Expected flat sole (not patterned) with extra heel.----

Don't even think this is going to fit if you need room for your toes. The sole is also narrow, so wide feet spill over .

I purchased these less than a year ago. The seem already ripped. Now I've got to get new slippers. Won't be buying these again unfortunately.

Second pair. LL Bean replaced first but I'm a month past their new policy period. Both developed a tear at the seam along sole (left this time; don't remember which one last time). Not hard use. Mostly inside house but outside on driveway to pick up newspaper in the morning. Florida. No snow.
Disappointed,

I have the Wicked Good Slipper Moc II Leather Men's, 8, Medium D,
Sandalwood that I love. I wanted a second pair of slippers without the rawhide ties, Men's Wicked Good Slippers, Venetian...BIG MISTAKE! The size and fit are perfect, but for some unknown reason my feet hurt when I walk in them, NO SUPPORT! The real baffler is sitting in my chair, MY FEET STILL HURT WITH THESE SLIPPERS ON MY FEET, and I cannot explain why.

I'm a big fan of L.L. Bean, have been a loyal consumer for 30+ years. I've always regarded their products as being high quality and long lasting until now. I'm sad to say the Men's Wicked Good Slippers (Venetian) is a dud. After just two weeks of light, indoor use, the right slipper is coming apart at the stitching. Pictures attached. Very surprised and disappointed by the lack of quality with this product.

For $70 slippers, the quality and durable do not justify the price. Buyer beware.

The body of the slipper collapsed to the left side, so that the side of the body hit the ground as if it were part of the sole. I've bought many LL Bean slippers over the decades and this is the first time there was a definite product defect.
After a few weeks I stopped wearing them and bought a different LL Bean slipper.

These were excellent slippers while they lasted, unfortunately the fleece was wearing faste from the back of the heel, bottom of the heel, and balls of the feet within 3 months and gone in 4 months. The stitching securing the tounge to the sides of the slippers started unraveling after 4 months.
I definitely expected to get more than 1/3 - 1/2 a year out of these.

Not worth the price at all. My husband has only had his pair for a month & a half and only wears them in the evenings around the house, but there are already holes and rips in them. He is so disappointed since they were extremely comfortable when he first put them on. When I reached out to customer service I was told I need to repackage & ship the bad ones back and wait for an exchange or refund. LLBean is known for their quality and customer service and I was really surprised that this happened and that it would be a pain for me to get a new pair.

I purchased these slippers because of the satisfaction with a previous order for the same item. However, these slippers, although noted as same size as first order, were smaller and more difficult to put on. When I checked the slippers there was no size noted/identified at all on the slipper. All I could go on concerning size was the previous order history. I have no packing slip to confirm size either.

I wore these slippers only in the house, yet they started wearing holes within 8 months with only casual wear (yes, I have the correct size because I tried multiple pairs). By month 14, my slippers looked more like sandals.
I sent a courteous email to LL Bean 15 months after purchase, acknowledging that I was aware their lifetime guarantee policy recently changed, but I would still like help. I was curtly informed that LL Bean never had a "lifetime guarantee" policy (okay, okay, semantics), despite what their website indicated at the time of purchase. I was told I could mail them my slippers for "evaluation." No apology; no promise to make things right; just a vague statement that I could pay to mail them my shoes. Then what? Will you send them back at my expense? Fix them? Provide a new pair?
With such odd communication and lack of accountability for their customer promise at the time of purchase, I decided to wear wool socks with these slippers-turned-sandals until they literally fall apart, then find a new brand.

Not durable. Bottom inner lining wore down to the bare animal skin it was made from after normal indoor use. Way overrated! Not worth the money. Have bought these twice and twice unsatisfied. Will not buy again. LL Bean customer for over 30 years.

Some of the most uncomfortable slippers I have worn. They feel VERY narrow and tight. This would be ok if it was just the leather, as it would stretch over time, but the sole feels very narrow as well. Narrow to the point where walking in them feels like walking on a balance beam.

This is the 3rd pair i've owned in 10 years. My last pair lasted prob 4ish years. Was really happy with the product. However, I bought these last month before Christmas, and after about a week of wearing them in the house, they started to break in, which is fine. However the heel of the L slipper does not catch my heel when I walk now. It has "stretched out" without my feet stretching them much. My last pair (after years of use, and was pretty stretched out) felt better than this L slipper on my foot. It's very annoying and awkward to walk sometimes because the R one still fits true to size, the L one, however, since being broken in is not. It has never happened on any of the slippers I've owned previously or any other shoe. Very disappointed

My wife gave me these as an early Christmas present. I had asked for them specifically, so was very excited to open them. Unfortunately, my happiness was quickly extinguished when I put the slippers on and discovered that my big toe did not fit into the sole, and instead was squished over the edge of the sole. This makes no sense to me, as I ordered a half size up, and I do not have wide feet (if anything, my feet are a bit narrow). I don't understand how anyone can wear these. Super disappointed.

They feel funny - not fuzzy and warm. The fuzz on the bottom pilled up and matted down almost immediately. I am going to return them as soon as I figure out the instructions. I need new fuzzy slippers and really wanted these to work but they just feel funny.

****Can't see what I'm reviewing...item is required, but no option is given at start of the review. I'm reviewing size 14 Venetian slipper
I purchased these for my adult son as a replacement for moccasin type slippers I purchased last year. The mocs fell apart, so I wanted to try another style. He loved the fit of the mocs but hated these, stating several times he'd received two of the same side/foot slipper. This wasn't the case, but he insists that his big toes are forced into the side of the slipper rather than allowed to follow what should be the natural contour of the slipper. I'll be sending them back but haven't decided if I'm going to look into the relatively short period of time the mocs lasted.
