Not even close to the slippers they used to make. Size was way off, too small, and not as comfortable as they were. First pair I ever bought were the best I ever had. They need to get back to that quality before I'll even think about buying these again.

Ordered these slippers for upcoming gift.
Shoes were just thrown in the box, not individually wrapped and both slippers have scuffed scratches. One shoe has a dark speck on top.
This would be an embarrassment to present this as a gift.
We've bought four pairs of these slippers from LLB over the years. That's why I purchased again. But quality is not the same.
This will be second item I've had to return to LLB in two weeks due to poor quality.
LLBean is definitely not the same store as in past.

I have purchased several pairs of these slippers and they only last a couple of months. My last pair's stitching completely came apart. That didn't bother me with their return policy, but when they told me that they will not honor it and to help extend the life, I should "vacuum" the slippers! So don't believe their return policy and they will not return your slippers that you are trying to get exchanged/returned as I'm still waiting for mine from months ago. This company is not part of BBB for a reason....horrible customer service! Will never buy from here again.

Bought as Christmas present and SIL loved wearing them. However in May the seam tore wide open near front of slipper and SIL threw them out without telling me. My daughter just told me but without the slippers I can't return them for a replacement. I've never had this happen after all the years we've been buying them.

I can't believe how far this company has fallen. I've lived about 30 minutes from their flagship store in Freeport, ME for my whole life and LL Bean used to stand for quality and now it's all cheap junk. The cheap stitching in these slippers began falling out 3 months after buying them. This is after going through a return process for a previous pair where the sole fell off. It's really sad what's happened here, but save yourself the headache and just get the cheaper slippers, they're the same thing at this point anyway.

I've been buying L.L. Bean slippers for myself and my wife. for years. My wife's are great mine usually last about a year I use them quite a bit. This last pair of men's slippers just started falling apart. The inside lining started wearing out and balling up inside the shoe. Around the ankle where the sheep wool is it looks like it has mange. I am so disappointed $89 slippers that fell apart in five months. I'm just having to throw them away!

I was excited when I got this pair of slippers and it does keep up to its nameboth comfortable and warm!
Unfortunately, the slippers does not last through two to three winters as the heel cushion part of the slipper has not lasted. See photo. The rest of the slippers are still holding up. I am very disappointed that this slippers does not last long as the heel cushioning area is the most important part of the entire slippers.

Love these slippers, but the sizes are.one full size off. Returning for larger size. Same thing happen3d with flannel pajamas ordered. Seems LL Bean sizing is way off the norm and expens8ve. Otherwise, great product!

The quality control at LLBean has become quite poor. I recently received a pair of slippers, and one had a pointed toe while the other was squared off. This lack of consistency has been an ongoing issue for years, and I'm starting to question why I continue to order from them. It's disappointing to see that their clothing no longer showcases any style. I also ordered a sweatshirt for $100, but the elastic band didn't even fit snugly around my waist. LLBean needs to reevaluate their approach and make some significant improvements.

Poor quality. Less than a year old and already falling apart. I bought these to replace 10 years old ugg slippers. I will be purchasing uggs again.

We sent them back to exchange them right after Christmas and haven't heard anything about the return or the new ones to replace them.

Poor fit. Got his pair around the holiday (but after) and I think I received someone's return who stretched out the slipper.

L.L. Bean used to have some great slippers in the wide size. They canned this size and the slippers no longer fit. Please bring back the wide size!

My wife bought me a pair of these 15 years ago for a Christmas present and I have loved them so much. Very comfortable and super cozy-I slip them on every night. My current pair have seen some miles though and are falling apart. My wife ordered me a new pair, same size(10), and somehow they are too little. Toes are all the way at the end and cramped. So naturally she returns them and gets the next size up, 11. They arrived today and are too big. Now I have to pay to send these back, after already paying to send the first pair back, and still don't have a new pair of slippers. Unfortunately I am going to have to go with another brand. Really wanted these to work.

My husband had a pair of these slippers and wanted a new pair. I ordered the same size as the old ones (9), for Christmas, when they came (well after Christmas!), they were too small (too short and a bit narrow). When I held the souls of the old and new together for comparison, you could see that the were cut smaller (shorter and more narrow in the toe box). Why? His foot measures 8.5. So annoying. Back they go. He went out and bought slippers locally. Now I have to pay to return for their bad sizing. Never again, Mr Bean!

It was intended for women's sizing. Clerk did not note the wrong size. I found it when it was too late and shipment email was recd.

Bought these for my nephew for his birthday. After about 6-7 weeks of normal, indoor wear, the seams broke, leaving about a 3" tear. I tried replacing them for him, but they are now out of stock. I am beyond disappointed.
Disappointed,

We've purchased these before and loved them however this time the interior fabric dye is coming off on socks/feet when worn. For this price very disappointing.
