They run a little small so we had to exchange my son's slippers for the next size (and a $6.50 exchange fee, boo! Your competitors don't charge for exchanges). The new slippers arrived ~10 days later, they were very cozy and my son wore them all evening. When he took his slippers off to go to bed his feet were stained orange. I emailed LLBean and they said "we know", would you like to exchange them? As they "know" I didn't see the rationale for exchanging them so my son now wears socks with his slippers. We now have an extensive orange sock collection.

I reviewed this earlier but could not find it to edit. This slipper is sized too large and if that is not enough it stretches, or seems to. The slipper also has zero structure so your foot tends to 'yaw' if not walking in a straight line. If I could return them, I would.

Had to return first pair as one slipper was defective. Replaced by local store and had to return it as well as one was also defective. Third pair finally OK. Very disappointed in Bean's quality. Used to be first class, now everything is made in China and it shows.

These slippers don't come in a wide width. They are very narrow. Though the literature enclosed says that in time they will adjust to your feet - it is hard to believe. I have very sensitive feet and I am unwilling to experience the discomfort and pain trying to get the slippers to stretch. Don't get me wrong, I have been a very loyal LL Bean customer for over 50 years. This is just a warning to others or a message to LL Bean.

I am most disappointed with the fact that these slippers fell apart at the seam after about 5 wears in the house. For the price point, and being an L.L. Bean product, I expected more. Yes, I know they will take care me but it's a hassle. The wait to receive them with their lowest cost shipping (and not so cheap at that) was too long, and I need slippers now. bummer

I'll start by saying I've had these in the past in fact I still wear them but the liners are worn out. So I ordered a new pair expecting the same fit and comfort but I was wrong it was very uncomfortable in the tow and the side label also bothered me. It may have just been a bad pair but for the price I returned them. I won't say don't get them because my previous pair were awesome. Just not for me this time.

I decided to splurge in 2016 (Christmas) and buy these slippers for my husband. I've always spent less on his slippers because they only last him a year. (He wears them EVERY day). It's now March 2018 and he showed me how the outsides look great, but the inside fur has worn through in many spots. I'm mad at myself for spending so much, thinking they would last longer.

My husband has worn Bean's Wicked Good Slippers forever and at Christmastime decided to order the Venetian instead of the Camp Moc style. These were on backorder and was happy to receive them at Valentine's Day. He was extremely disappointed, however, as both slippers seemed to have a defect in the toe area. There was a ridge or seam under the sheepskin lining that made them very uncomfortable to the bottom of the foot/toes. This problem was bad enough that they had to go back. I feel really bad about this since in all other ways, the slippers were great. I was afraid to try another pair.

I bought these for my husband last November for Christmas and they were warm and comfortable, but they have just recently split at the seam (front toe). Too bad. The fur is from Australia, but I believe they were made in China, (of course). I just wish LL Bean would not import so much from China; it seems that the quality has suffered.

I've just returned these slippers. They have a very narrow width, I normally wear a size 11B and even after trying to wear them until they molded to my foot as per the enclosed card they were uncomfortable around the forefoot area. Also the insulating material used for the lining was beginning to mat and ball up in the sole area. I also ordered the elk skin slippers from this site and find them to be excellent both in material and fit. But again I am a Size 11B and ordered these because most of the reviews said they ran narrow. I would recommend LLBean get a handle on these sizing issues!!!

What is the life expectancy of this product? Have them for just over a year and the fur on the inside is wearing off and below that the interior (foam padding) is starting to fall apart?? Thought they'd last longer than this??? Always liked LLB's product but thinking twice on this product line if I'm going to replace them soon.

I have had these for a while and they are warm and fit as I would like them to. But the wool is starting to come off or out unlike my old UGS

I was pleased to find size 14 slippers; they are a bit hard to find. The slipper is long and relatively straight, so I have a hard time telling which is the right, which is the left. Sometimes I have to turn them over to check the sole so I get them on the proper foot. I wear a medium or average for all my footwear: shoes, slippers, and boots. So I was surprised that the slippers are snug on my bare feet. If I wear a pair of socks, which I usually do, the slipper is uncomfortably snug. Perhaps it will loosen up over time as the leather stretches a bit or the lining gets compressed. I think the wide would have been a better choice. So the low rating is for what I consider to be a non-standard fit. Quality is good. I would recommend them for someone with a narrow foot.

I couldn't wait to receive these slippers. I had a pair that finally fell apart after 8-9 years. I was so disappointed when I received these because they are very NARROW....especially in the toe box. Back to Bean they go. If you have narrow feet, these are the slippers for you but they are most definitely NOT a D width. I would recommend these if the wearer has narrow feet.

Will return these. Uncomfortable on the bottom, alternating between too fluffy and too hard, believe it or not, and the slipper scrunches up my sock on the bottom. Some of the sheepskin came off in my hand. These were made in China by the way.

I purchased these in Oct. 2015, and noticed around Christmas 2016 that the top had started to separate from the sole as the top material was tearing along what appears to be a stitching line. I don't use slippers in the summer, so these essentially lasted less than a year. While the fit and comfort was good, and they still look great with the exception of the growing hole in the front, I'm beginning to lose my belief in the quality of L.L.Bean footwear, as this is the second pair of Bean footwear in less than a year that has prematurely come apart at a stitchline.

Seemed like slippers were two different sizes, one was longer than the other. I sent them back for a refund.

Believe it or not, there is a GIANT difference in Bean's slippers made in China, and the traditional Bean's slippers made in Canada. The China-made slippers just don't measure up in quality. I just tried my second style of slipper, and like the first one, I am returning the second. Just not up to Bean's tradition of all-around excellence. If I had shopped in person I would have made the decision not-to-buy in the store. Shopping on-line with Bean's is usually not a problem... but footwear, to me at least, is a no-go.

Construction and material is good quality, but the fit is terrible. Ordered the size I wear, 14 and fit is way to big, tried wearing with socks to take up some room, doesn't work. If I hadn't worn them I'd return them, but not worth the hassle. I don't recommend buying these slippers.

Seem to be constructed well enough and the fur is plush but I can't recommend them. I have purchased two pairs of Bean slippers in the past and never seen the front half fit so snug yet the rear portion so wide. The sides of the rear portion bulge beyond the forward portion and when walking my heals are constantly lifting out of the slipper. There is no way one size smaller would fit because of the snug fit in the front. Can't even snug up the fit by wearing socks because the front is too tight. Good for stationary wearing only.

I've been wearing the moccasins model of this slipper for many years, and find that the recent ones do not hold up well at all. After a few months, the fleece lining wears away. In fact, I am wearing a old pair which I kept, because the newer pair is no longer useable for the reason I described.

The first delivery of these slippers - visible difference between the right and left shoe and one was way too large. These were size 13 slippers. Spoke to very helpful people at LLBeans and they immediately sent out another pair. Again one shoe was much larger than the other. Again spoke to very helpful person and a decision was made to try a different make of slipper. We are now waiting for these to arrive. Your customer service is very helpful and we have ordered many things throughout the year without having to return products. My concern is that there is a considerable difference in a shoe size that they are un-wearable.

I received these slippers in January 2016 and began wearing them exclusively indoors with socks. Initially, they seemed to fit properly and were very comfortable. However, by mid-March, the shearling lining was quite matted and had completely worn away at the heels. I showed them to a store representative and asked if it was normal for the lining to wear so quickly, and she told me that it was. I'm giving the slippers one extra star because they look good and appear to be well-stitched, but I expected the lining to last much longer than it did. For the first two months, it felt like these slippers were giving my feet warm hugs. Now they're just expensive slippers.

I purchased these as a Christmas present for my husband, who had worn his first pair of Wicked Good slippers for many years - they finally showed it. I ordered the same size he always wears. He loved them at first. But we were very surprised when, after just 3 months of wearing these new slippers just in the house, one of them developed a large hole where his big toe is - the sole just separated from the suede. The white, furry lining is also very worn down at both heels. LLBean's customer service is very efficiently and politely organizing a Quick Exchange for full credit. I do hope we just got a defective pair the first time - I'll check back in three months from now and let you know how the replacement pair is doing!
