The "wicked good slippers" are really comfortable; however, the quality is quite low. After less than 15 months, the leather tore right above the sole. Those were not my first pair; the last one lasted for more than 5 years and I expected the same quality. It seems that was naive of me. I went back to the store to find out what they wanted to do about it. I was told the slippers were at "the end of their lifespan" and that I simply had "worn them too much". Is this what you mean by "We stand behind our products and quality remains a top priority for us"? You lost a customer, L.L.Bean.

The quality is good, which is to be expected at this price point. The fit was good. While the Sherpa pile is understandably thick until worn a few times, the right shoe has remained lumpy midway into the shoe. This "lumpiness" is not present in the left shoe. As a result, this less than "seamless" issue detracts from the overall comfort. Not bad enough to incur return postage, so I'm holding on to them, reminding myself that there are far worse things to be concerned about.

I received my new slippers and was very excited to try them on. My normal shoe size is a 12 and with socks they likely would feel tight. I wanted them to wear at night after taking my socks off. They are warm however the sole is made of nice rubber however there is no support ot cushion when you walk. They are wicked bad! Sorry I purchased them.

I've been wearing this for 14 months and on the left slipper the seam between the upper and the sole has begun tearing. It is open about 1", at the outside ball of the foot. It is still wearable, but I didn't expect to have it fall apart just over a year into wear.

The quality is now so poor, this slipper barely resembles the original slipper. It's flimsy, the soles are very thin, the lining is far less dense than the original. Yet the cost is still the same. Pitiful for a once respected brand.

Inner fur bunches up creating hills that make you not want to wear the slippers anymore

The slippers are so wide it's hard to keep my feet in them, and I have wide feet (4E).

There is a slight defect in the left slipper. An indentation that causes irritation of my small toe. I'm really disappointed. I'm sending them back.

I bought my boyfriend a pair in January after receiving my own (second) pair. My first pair lasted years of my wearing them every day. FIrst, he loved the look and how cozy they were. They seemed perfect. However, after 3 months of use (he wore them daily but only around the house), the soles had worn out - the fur lining was just gone in the heel and toes. We knew it would squish down as is the nature of the shoe but this is worse than that. The fuzzy is gone - making their comfort far less than they were initially. Then, a few weeks ago, one of the seams ripped. It's disappointing as I thought they would last him a lot longer than 10 months. Especially as they're "built to last". Oh well. He really did like the color, style, and fit otherwise. truly unfortunate they wore out so quick.

These make my arches hurt. I could enjoy earlier models of this shoe for hours, most of the day, very comfortably. Historically there was a small raised heel and I suspect that's the difference. The newbies are totally flat on the bottom, and the inside is plush but flat. The rise wasn't much but I think it kept my feet feeling much better. I actually bought one pair of the newbies, gave them away, and bought another hoping it was just some fluke. Returned the second pair after trying them on.

One slipper seems to tilt me sideways. I seem to be walking on the side instead of the sole.

These are very pliable and soft, almost so much so it's hard to keep on your feet. I feel like I could easily roll my ankle. Maybe better suited for wide feet. Disappointing.

I bought these slippers in February of 2023 to replace a pair of Bean slippers that I had for 5-6 years. Unfortunately, these replacements have worn out pretty fast! As you can see from the pictures, there's a seam failure in the outside toe area. And the inside heal areas are worn down. I expect more than 18 months out of a pair of slippers.

I've had about 6 pairs of slippers from LLbean. This is the 3 kind of this slipper I've had and I've got to say that it feels as though they stopped at the heel area. I got a blister from wearing slippers! There's no padding and very little fur, and the stitching is showing where the heel is. I'm hoping it changes as I wearing them more, but I have to wear socks, which sucks. This is the first time I've been less than satisfied with their slippers. It almost looks intentional because there is thick fur all the way around the ankle, except the heel. There needs to be more heel protection 100%

I wore these for two winters inside my house only (I live in the South, so perhaps three months per year for two years). By the end of the second winter, the shearling had worn down to the slipper, providing no cushion. I shipped them to customer service for an evaluation, but since it was after the one year warranty period, they said they couldn't do anything. I said they could toss them then. Don't get me wrong--It was a great product while they provided cushion. But at $90, it should last longer than two seasons' worth. I'm better off wearing thick winter socks that are much more durable and can be exchanged when they wear down.

I was disappointed when we received our new slippers. The qaulity has decreased, as far as comfort.

I wear 10-1/2, so I ordered 10 and 11. 10 was too small and 11 too big - returned both.

I thought I was a size 10 in mens but that is not the case, These are very tight to the point it just bunches up in the padding around the toes. Was actually causing problems for my big one of my big toes as it was rubbing too much and causing an itch that would lead to a rash so I can't keep them on for long. I need to return these. I will rewrite a review once I get a size that actually fits me. I would say I didn't really get to enjoy these. All issues related to size.

My first pair had thin spots in the heel lining, and wore out in a few weeks. LLBean replaced them for me, and the replacements wore through in a month. Not worth the high price to me.

I wouldn't say they are wicked good but, pretty good. The right side slipper is way to narrow, actually starts to cut off circulation after about 5 minutes of wearing them. The left side was perfect! Not sure how that happens but it did. If they both arrived as narrow as the left they would be wicked good.

These are nicely made and present well, but... Other than a thin layer of fleece that is crushed down immediately upon wearing, they have zero padding or support under foot and are quite uncomfortable to walk in. A structured foam layer under the fleece would fix this problem. I love LL Bean and wish I could review higher but that is my personal experience, YMMV.

Received these slippers for Christmas. Length is good but width is too wide. Makes it hard to walk. Size I got was 11M. I checked the box to make sure I didn't receive an extra wide pair. Was going to return them but the box got put into the recycling bin and inside tags were removed. Humbug See my photo below and compare to the photo on LLBean web page
