I wear a women's size 8.5W, so I bought the men's size 7. The fit is great. However, I'm not as impressed as other reviewers - particularly with the quality control. (1) Fit = The first pair I tried on felt weird on my left foot. The second pair felt weird on my right foot. I finally found a pair that fit well on both feet. (The staff in the store were very helpful and patient.) (2) Lining - There is less lining in the right slipper than the the left slipper, so it looks weird. (3) Warmth - These don't keep my feet warm at all. I think my $25 slippers do a better job. I will keep the slippers, but I don't love them as much as everyone else.

I Have ordered these for my family for at least ten years. They just aren't the same. They rip away from the sole within a year. The last two pairs my husband had needed replacing quickly..just not quickly enough to fall on the limited llbean warranty. I tried to get him another pair for his birthday last month but they've been just sitting in my cart on back order for week and won't ship until late August. I just canceled the order and ordered a new trendy brand instead.

My girlfriend had gifted me a pair of these slippers after my old ones (>5 years old) were falling apart. The ones she bought were the same size as my old ones, but they were too small. I decided to exchange for a size up. In order to not pay for the exchange shipping cost, I hiked to an LL Bean store, only to be told the color I wanted was backordered. I decided to wait. A month later, I received my slippers. After a few hours of wearing them, I noticed that they were defective - there's a big tear at the seam of the tongue. I called LL Bean and was told that the brown are now backordered until August and there's no way to accelerate my timeline despite the fact that I already waited more than a month. The construction is not what it used to be. I don't know that I'll choose LL Bean in the future.

Looks like a fine product, but I can't get one to fit him. He wears a half size and going bigger meant he would be scuffling around and lower just was impossible to get on.

Feet slide off of the sole of the shoe side-to-side. Makes it awkward to wear. If that was better the slipper would be perfect!

Great material quality, not a good fit - toe box too narrow; it was uncomfortable wearing!

They are not supportive at all. I was walking on the side of my feet.

Overall the fit and comfort are good. The craftsmanship, and specifically the sewing of the footbed is done quite poorly. After just over a year of wearing these, the sole is separating as a result of the poor craftsmanship.

Only full sizes were available and I wear an 11 1/2 so LLBean said to order a 12. I did and the right slipper rode up on the heel when I walked/

Several pairs in my family. We loved everything about them EXCEPT that they prematurely tear where the rubber sole meets the sheepskin. Also have the Wicked Good version in our house. THOSE have an extra piece of sheepskin where it meets the rubber (take a look). None of those have torn. Made more like classic LL Bean attention to detail. Just sayin'.

Slipper is extremely narrow in toe and small to sizing. I wear an 11 shoe, bought a size 12 slipper - way too small. Maybe a 13 would work but hassle to get back store. Lining seems to be very warm. Unfortunately can't wear since too small. I bought a pair of these in size 11 about 5 years ago and they fit ok and were great to wear.

Love the look and feel of this slipper. I was sorry to find that it was overall too small and too tight. The option of going a full size larger would send them the other way. An insert says that this slipper will loosen and won't be as tight over time (indicating that they often get this complaint). For me, they're way too tight to plan on that happening, especially when it's "on my own dime".

Have had about 16 months, The liner is worn out. Yesterday I noticed that the inside edge has pulled away from the bottom of the right slipper leaving a hole. Very disappointed.

These are warm and cozy but started falling apart after a year and a half. For $80 slippers? No way they should only last that long. I don't think I want to pay essentially $40/yr for slippers. I won't repurchase.
Disappointed,

I received these slippers as a gift for Christmas 2020.
Pros: warm, true to size, very comfortable, no slip on those cold floors!
Con: poor quality leather shearling and workmanship. I've had these for less than two years and the leather is tearing at the toes (see photo). I never wear these outside, we have no pets, and I only use them for 4-5 months of the year and only in the morning before I leave the house for the day. So my usage is quite limited. These should last 5+ years given my low level of use.
I took them to the LL Bean in Rockville, MD and they refused an exchange for a similar pair. They claimed it was "normal wear & tear" when it's clear that low quality shearling leather and poor workmanship is to blame. Very dissatisfied with the outcome and would not recommend these to others. Will rethink future LL Bean purchases given that they no longer honor their guarantee.

Overall, a good slipper. But the tags on the inside of the slipper are in a bad location making the slipper uncomfortable

No size 101/2 Size 11 was too big, so slippers were floppy. Customer service suggested size 10, and keep whichever was the better fit and send back the other pair. I kept the size 10 (better fit but not great) and sent back the size 11. Refund has been deposited to my credit card. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. So nice to talk to an English speaker and not talk to a robot.

I've probably owned a dozen pairs of slippers like these. Until they went out of business, I bought them from Peal & Co. in London The last six or so were from LL Bean, All were excellent until this pair. They must have changed manufacturers because, while everything else seems the same, the back of the heel is less stiff, more pliable. This means that, when I put them on, I can't just slide my feet in without being very careful. This is time consuming and annoying. I'll probably return them in the hope that the replacement pair won't be the same.

Really wanted to love these slippers, but had to return them twice because the fit is just not there. One size too small, and another too large. Perhaps 1/2 sizes are in order??

I absolutely love these slippers for their comfort and warmth. That's why I was super disappointed the fell apart after year of use.

The sidewall of this slipper caved in after about a week of wear. They say it's a size D, but it seemed to be exceptionally narrow. I've ordered these slippers in the past, and not had this problem until after several months of wearing them. I do wish you'd bring back the corduroy version. They lasted the longest!

The inside sole bunches up and is uncomfortable. There is no foot support in the upper shoe. My toes were cramped even though my toes had the room.

Fit was way off from the last pair I bought. Thought I could break them in over time, but wound up being too tight to the point where my feet hurt. Had to stop wearing them. Looked nice though.

Ordered these for my husband for Christmas. It’s March and they are already starting to fall apart. I love LL Bean and usually have good luck. But I wouldn’t get these again.
