I got about 3 years from these, which seems short for indoor use only. The leather upper is very thin and ripped out earlier this week. I do love having comfy slippers with no laces. I don't understand why most folks want laces on slippers, all they do is come untied.

Comfortable to wear without socks. Much better overall than my worn out pair that was replaced with these as a Christmas gift. To LL Bean: Please find the genius that designed the tag placement on the medial side of the arch of the foot. Sticks in my feet - very uncomfortable, also due to tag material being somewhat thick and firm. Fix: I cut the tags, but was had to cut it just right to avoid cutting stitching, and avoid leaving too much sticking up. For the price, should come out of the box without requiring alterations.

Slipper is lined with lamb fur which is dyed. Inside label specifies fur is dyed. Orange colored dye causes foot socks to get discolored from the dye. My older slippers do not state fur is dyed and I never had this issue. Don't know if colored dye will wear out with time.

With the fleece lining, these slippers are very comfortable for sitting, but not for walking around the house. While the front half fits well, the back half is too loose and floppy, and with every step the sides flair out.

I'm having the same issue a lot of people have had with these slippers in the exact location. The right toe blew out right at the seam. Now they are two years old and they have always been comfortable. I don't know how long slippers should last but like others mine tore in the same exact spot. I'm on the fence about buying another pair or asking for another pair at Christmas.

I ordered a half size up as recommended. Info in the box indicated the fit may be tight as the lining adjusts. In fact, they were too large and slightly wide (and I normally wear a wide shoe). Wearing socks helps, but these are not as "wicked good" as I expected. I would not recommend to a friend if they could not try on first.

The slippers themselves were good, but one is a little wider and one is a little longer enough so they don't quite match. My husband is having surgery and we don't have time for an exchange. Maybe just watch the quality control.

Both slippers were size 10, but the left slipper was much wider than the right.

A fuzzy slipper. Great look. Not much padding for foot support. Love the sole of the slipper. Not a fan of the tag that goes where your instep arch is. It is awful to walk around in right now. I hope it packs the tag out. LLBeen would get 1 more star if it wasn't for that tag location. I'm afraid to cut it out and make it more of a bare.

The more substantial sole sets these slippers apart from the ubiquitous ones sold at Christmas in department stores, which fall apart from the sole up in a year. BUT, that said, the lining of these slippers is really poor quality. I've had them for a few weeks now and it's already smashed down and wearing away all around the openings. I would like to return them as this is totally unacceptable for the price paid on these. I'd expected better. Doesn't matter how good the sole is if the lining is falling apart within a month.

I've had a pair of these slippers for at least 40 years. Always the same problem: no half sizes. The size 11 is ok until the shearling compresses then they're too loose. The 10 would be ok after the shearling gets worn down but would be uncomfortable til then. After the breakin, I have to wear sox (which I really don't like to do with slippers) to take up the excess space. This was a default purchase; I did not want to go to stores to try on alternatives so I bought these by default. Not much of a recommendation.

The slippers look nice and are comfortable. However, I am constantly picking up small pieces of the lambs wool liner off my floors.

Usually love LL Bean...however I found these slippers to be just average and I have found better slipper on another site at a better price. I have the feeling that these slippers just will not hold up

I bought these with the expectation that they would be the same moccasin as my previous LLBean mocs minus the aggravating string ties. Wrong. This is an entirely different shoe. The rear of the moc is much shorter in ankle height and uncomfortable to wear. Very disappointed.

They are good slippers but you are only selling medium which for any of us wide sizes is too narrow. Mine are uncomfortable because they are too narrow. Wide was not offered.

I have bought slippers from Bean for several years (over a decade). This time the style I prefer was not available, so I bought this one thinking it was the 'next best thing', If I wear socks with these slippers, the socks are pulled down into the body of the slipper by the lining. I either have to pull the socks back up periodically or endure bunching and lumping under the sole of my feet. Please bring back the flat soled non-mock style slipper it truly was wicked awesome.

I wear an 11D in dress and tennis shoes, however, the same size in this slipper was too large and too wide. It slipped so badly I returned them.

For many years, I ordered and used Wicked Good Slippers, but not the Venetian variety. The styling difference was, in part, a smooth finish to the edging instead of the sewn top. I liked them better, and the Venetian is a poor knock-off.

The fit just didn't work out. The medium width is really just normal width while regular fit is narrow. The attached note stated they should be worn into fit. I can't see that happening without callous/chaffing developing, which defeats the purpose of their intended comfort. I tried to exchange them for a different slipper that offered wide sizing but had not luck with customer service - their answer was basically to return the slippers and pay full prize for the second purchase in addition to S&H ... you lost a customer on this one. The stars are for craftsmanship - beautifully made but not true to fit and poor customer service.

I've been buying these slippers for years for both my husband and myself. They've always been "wicked good", but this year we were disappointed. The thick fluffy inside is no longer so thick and fluffy. They were as flat on the inside as the 3 year old slippers we were replacing.

I wear a size 9.5 shoe. These only come in full sizes so I was advised to order a size 10. They were too large and I had t return them. I then order a similar slipper in size 9. They are too small, but the note in the box said to wear them a few days and they would fit my feet. Didn't happen, still too small and I doubt I can return them now that I have worn them?

I think these are good slippers, but not the best or most comfortable I've ever worn. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I would have expected the lining to be thicker. They're warm, but really not much better than a pair of thick socks.
