Material inside is not as smooth as I expected it to be.

Easy to order, always great service, unfortunately wrong size because the fuzzy interior lining takes up shoe size. I need to return these for a bigger size. Recommend that you add a note in your catalogue/web page that encourages one-size larger than regular shoe size. Have others experienced this?

Nice, fit matches size but overpriced for quality and materials.

The left slipper is slightly larger than the right which is a little annoying as it slips slightly when walking. Unfortunately the packaging was thrown away before using them so I couldn't return.

Well made and so soft inside. Had to send back to get a larger size. They are not made for walking on grass through and I was disappointed about that because of the cost of the slippers.

Pretty light wool on the inside. My opinion is subjective. Love the brand. Just not as a comfortable as some of their other great products.

Comfortable, but very loose at the heel. Could have gone down a size, but the toe box would have been far too tight.

If you look at the shoe from the side, the depth at the heel slopes down towards the toes. This makes it snug at the part of your foot that's the widest. Seems like a fashion choice, not designed for comfort. Why do you need fashion for house slippers you only wear around the house?

Order WAY ahead of when you want these. Shipping took an excruciatingly long time.

Slipper felt good - - until the upper ripped from the sole on the side of the foot. I assume the cause was slipper size, not the materials used. My shoe size is 10.5, but these slippers only come in whole sizes. The true fit guide said get size 11, which I did. I was told the slipper may have been too large for my foot, so it loosened and ripped. That doesn't help as a 10 would be too small and perhaps cause a rip due to the constant pressure. Best solution would be for these slippers to come in half sizes. But I haven't seen them. Pity.

It's my fault. I should have ordered a moccasin instead of the Venetian. I don't like the Venetian style, but I've already worn these, so I can't return.

Not the same slippers. The sole of these slippers is thinner. I was disappointed and returned them.

Very snug fit that forced my foot to be cramped. Though the size was perfect, the filler took up too much of the interior which made it uncomfortable.

This is my third pair of Venetian Wicked Good Slippers that I've bought over the years. And it's the third time that I've bought a size 11, which are generally a bit big for me (but 10 is too small). For some reason, this latest order feels like a size 10 and is too tight. It seems that another reviewer, TheEssDee on January 25, had the same problem. Because I've purchased these slippers in the past, I can't help but wonder if the size 11 / color blue slippers have been incorrectly labeled? Sadly, I'll need to return these.

Fleece lining clumps up under foot, not smooth and comfortable. Otherwise very nice so far. Note: I don't wear socks with them, so the lumpy fleece lining is really annoying. The outdoor-friendly sole is a big plus.

I purchased the Venetian wicked good slippers and the sole is not as thick or firm as the wicked good moccasins I purchased three years ago. Disappointed.

I want to love these slippers but the left slipper is noticeably narrower across the top toe box area than the right. I wear them everyday believing they'll stretch over time but they aren't comfortable. It's disappointing.

liked the look and pattern of the slippers- However- I wear 91/2 and catalog said order size above- so the slippers were too large and didn't fit.

Somewhat disappointed with LL Bean, customer service and product has really declined from years past. As for the slippers: they really do need to add 1/2 sizing. LL Bean's advice to increase to next full size is wrong...they were way too big. Then to compound issues LL Bean charges $6.50 for the exchange return. You're already paying too much for the "LL Bean" brand. As for quality: the slippers appear to be decent but one annoying issue is the sewn-in label in the footbed of the slipper. Its stiff and pokes the bottom of your foot. Wearing socks has made this bearable but why?Given the location you can't just cut it out. I won't be buying from LL Bean again.

Ordered a replacement pair of these slippers for my son. We bought the same size as his sneaker size and he couldn't put it on his foot. We are reordering two sizes larger and hope it will work.

My husband has had similar slippers from a competitor. These new ones seem very sloppy, for lack of a better word, in comparison. Almost at once his heel was landing on the side of the slipper, not staying on the sole. He's walking on the side of the shoes, particularly on the left. He's bummed. Really liked them at first. Otherwise they fit OK, and they are warm, but..

My husband has worn this style of slipper for a number of years. He likes them but he needs a new pair every year. I would expect them to last longer than they do. After a few months, the lining starts wearing out and the fit gets sloppy.
