Very snug fit that forced my foot to be cramped. Though the size was perfect, the filler took up too much of the interior which made it uncomfortable.

This is my third pair of Venetian Wicked Good Slippers that I've bought over the years. And it's the third time that I've bought a size 11, which are generally a bit big for me (but 10 is too small). For some reason, this latest order feels like a size 10 and is too tight. It seems that another reviewer, TheEssDee on January 25, had the same problem. Because I've purchased these slippers in the past, I can't help but wonder if the size 11 / color blue slippers have been incorrectly labeled? Sadly, I'll need to return these.

Fleece lining clumps up under foot, not smooth and comfortable. Otherwise very nice so far. Note: I don't wear socks with them, so the lumpy fleece lining is really annoying. The outdoor-friendly sole is a big plus.

I purchased the Venetian wicked good slippers and the sole is not as thick or firm as the wicked good moccasins I purchased three years ago. Disappointed.

I want to love these slippers but the left slipper is noticeably narrower across the top toe box area than the right. I wear them everyday believing they'll stretch over time but they aren't comfortable. It's disappointing.

liked the look and pattern of the slippers- However- I wear 91/2 and catalog said order size above- so the slippers were too large and didn't fit.

Somewhat disappointed with LL Bean, customer service and product has really declined from years past. As for the slippers: they really do need to add 1/2 sizing. LL Bean's advice to increase to next full size is wrong...they were way too big. Then to compound issues LL Bean charges $6.50 for the exchange return. You're already paying too much for the "LL Bean" brand. As for quality: the slippers appear to be decent but one annoying issue is the sewn-in label in the footbed of the slipper. Its stiff and pokes the bottom of your foot. Wearing socks has made this bearable but why?Given the location you can't just cut it out. I won't be buying from LL Bean again.

Ordered a replacement pair of these slippers for my son. We bought the same size as his sneaker size and he couldn't put it on his foot. We are reordering two sizes larger and hope it will work.

My husband has had similar slippers from a competitor. These new ones seem very sloppy, for lack of a better word, in comparison. Almost at once his heel was landing on the side of the slipper, not staying on the sole. He's walking on the side of the shoes, particularly on the left. He's bummed. Really liked them at first. Otherwise they fit OK, and they are warm, but..

My husband has worn this style of slipper for a number of years. He likes them but he needs a new pair every year. I would expect them to last longer than they do. After a few months, the lining starts wearing out and the fit gets sloppy.

LlBean instructions said if I wear a 9 men's shoe, I should order a 10 in this slipper. I did that and found the 10 was entirely oversized. I paid the shipping and returned them and ordered a 9 and they fit perfectly.

This slipper is very warm and seems well constructed. But there are some issues. The first thing you will have to do when you get the slipper is cut out the tag from both sides that stick up into your arch. The next thing you will need to do is figure out some strategy for telling left from right; the last these slippers are made from is of a poor shape and make wearing the slippers somewhat awkward. The slippers, also due to the last, are very narrow.

I have bought these shoes many times over the years. The shoes I received as a gift this year have less of the the lining and have already compressed after just a few times of wearing them. Disappointing considering how much they cost.

The fit of these was to tight in the toe and was way too loose in the heel so when I took a step my whole heel came out of the slipper. They are pretty unstable (possibly due to being to big) and I found myself rolling my foot a lot. Overall comfortable but terrible sizing for my feet.

Nice quality, but they run VERY small. Definitely order a size larger. While these are good slippers, they're overpriced. You can find almost identical ones in other brands for half the price.

Disappointed so far. My last pair of the classic slippers lasted about 10 years. This pair is tight in toe box. Hoping they will stretch out. Decided to go with the Venetian because I could not keep the laces tied on my last pair. The shearling is so comfy and warm

the slipper was good looking, but the toe box starting at the widest part of my foot, was too narrow. Would have loved to order a wide, but none offered.

Purchased a back up pair for my husband earlier this year. It took months to receive the slippers. This has never happened in the many many years I have been purchasing them. The previous pair did not hold up as well as these slippers in the past. It seems like the quality has declined. And now from what I am seeing in the catalog & the website, the wide width is no longer available. So unless this is a mistake, L.L. Bean has lost a long time customer!

Over the years we have worn LL Bean wicked good slippers, usually the moccasins. I have two pairs, size 11, but wanted a little extra toe room. So, I ordered size 12. They turned out to be shorter than the 11's. I returned the 12's in exchange for a pair of 13's. They have just arrived and they are a bit longer than the 11's. Oddly, the toe box is narrow. I'll live with them, but the strength of LL Bean wicked good slippers is probably their durability.
