I have purchased similar LLBean mocs in the past and been quite satisfied with them. This version does not come up to snuff. The overall appearance is not as pleasing to the eye as I expected. The pair I received look kind of awkward, for lack of a better word. The fit was not any better. The promo tells you to order a size up if you wear a half size. I wear a size 10 1/2 , med. so I ordered size 11 with D being the width (no choice for width). The fit was not very comfortable, being loose, and kind of lumpy on the bottom. I returned them for money back and do not recommend them.

These are definitely very warm and cozy, but the sole has separated from the toe bed on one slipper (rendering it no longer warm and cozy). This happened after wearing them only during the cold weather season for two years. For $80 slippers that are only worn inside the house for a few months each year, it's disappointing that they didn't last longer. I still chose that I would recommend, but it was questionable.

I've had these slippers for about a month and they already look & feel like they are wearing out. They are coming apart in one section on the right side.

Pro; Very attractive shoes. Sturdy soles. But, the fit is way off. Had to send back a previous pair after ordering size according to LL Bean size guide which was a full size off. This pair almost fits. One shoe is 1/2 inch shorter than the other. The heels are very loose. Sizing used to be spot on a few years back. Am not sure what has gone wrong. Hence the 3 stars

For starters, I have relatively big feet (size 12 1/2) that run a little wide. These slippers were definitely too narrow for comfort. I will return this pair, and am considering whether to buy a new pair from L.L. Bean or not. The trouble is L.L. Bean's selection of wide slippers is very limited and doesn't include the style I actually want. Despite being too tight, these slippers still slid right off my heel with every step. If I wanted that, I wouldn't order slippers with a heel, but overall that's not a deal breaker. Aside from not fitting, these slippers seem well made. The lining is incredibly soft, and the outside feels very durable. I just wish that they had better "wide" selections, because if I'm paying this much slippers then I'm not going to settle for the wrong size.

This is my second pair of these. Very comfortable, but the first pair blew out the side within 6 months. I'm really hoping the first pair was an anomaly as I have owned several pairs of L.L. Bean slippers before those and they all lasted several years.

I was surprised that when I tried them on I could feel the slipper's arch very well. I've been buying L.L.Bean slippers for years and never felt it before. I would only feel plush softness! After wearing them a few days it slowly started to go away. But they also didn't fell quite as soft and plush as they normally do. It makes me wonder if this is they way they will make them now...

I have been wearing your slippers for years. At first I ordered a size 11 which were a little to tight. I returned those and ordered a size 12 which are a little too big. I then ordered some of your shearing insoles (didn't work.). I now have a very sore toe and an appointment at a pediatrist. You folks really should offer half sizes!!!

I'm awaiting replacement slippers for the pair I just returned. This is the second pair I've returned. First pair had skimpy shearling and a void of shearling at the heel. Second pair were different shades of brown and the left one was mishappen in the way it was attached to the sole. I've bought LL Bean things for many of my 84 years. The one thing I can compliment them on is standing by their products when something has been found lacking.

I have to replace my husband's slippers every year, so just bought cheap throw away options for years. Finally decided to get these, expecting them to last for a few years at this price point. Well here we are 18mos later and the seam has blown. Back to disposable we go. I gave 3 stars because the sole was great for indoor/outdoor wear.

Easy to order, always great service, unfortunately wrong size because the fuzzy interior lining takes up shoe size. I need to return these for a bigger size. Recommend that you add a note in your catalogue/web page that encourages one-size larger than regular shoe size. Have others experienced this?

The left slipper is slightly larger than the right which is a little annoying as it slips slightly when walking. Unfortunately the packaging was thrown away before using them so I couldn't return.

Well made and so soft inside. Had to send back to get a larger size. They are not made for walking on grass through and I was disappointed about that because of the cost of the slippers.

Pretty light wool on the inside. My opinion is subjective. Love the brand. Just not as a comfortable as some of their other great products.

Comfortable, but very loose at the heel. Could have gone down a size, but the toe box would have been far too tight.

If you look at the shoe from the side, the depth at the heel slopes down towards the toes. This makes it snug at the part of your foot that's the widest. Seems like a fashion choice, not designed for comfort. Why do you need fashion for house slippers you only wear around the house?

Slipper felt good - - until the upper ripped from the sole on the side of the foot. I assume the cause was slipper size, not the materials used. My shoe size is 10.5, but these slippers only come in whole sizes. The true fit guide said get size 11, which I did. I was told the slipper may have been too large for my foot, so it loosened and ripped. That doesn't help as a 10 would be too small and perhaps cause a rip due to the constant pressure. Best solution would be for these slippers to come in half sizes. But I haven't seen them. Pity.

It's my fault. I should have ordered a moccasin instead of the Venetian. I don't like the Venetian style, but I've already worn these, so I can't return.

Not the same slippers. The sole of these slippers is thinner. I was disappointed and returned them.
