The slippers are beautiful and plushly lined yet poorly cut. The fit and finish of this classic slipper is a major disappointment. I had wonderfully nostalgic memories of wearing thru a pair of single-soles several decades ago. The idea was that with the double-sole slippers I would be set for years to come. early on, I noticed that the slippers at my heels differed in height. The slippers were quite snug for a size 10. I wear the Bean Boots in size 10 and the fit is perfect. In the slipper, however the fit is both a bit too small and narrow. After a week or two of wear around the house, it appears that the right slipper leans in that direction.

These slippers have very little friction on rugs which cover half our rooms. I am quite concerned about falling when these are on my feet. I probably ordered the wrong slippers. Instead I should have ordered the slippers which have a rubber outsole. I may order stick-on rubber outsoles to make these slippers usable.

Been wearing this style slipper for many years. Have returned two orders because the slippers were too large. Not snug like they used to be. Disappointing.

These are WAY overpriced. The size is correct, but the arch in the sole is too far forward to fit properly. Proper pricing should be about half.

The slippers are comfy and very well made, and they keep your feet very warm. The bad part are the laces, they constantly become untied. After a couple of years of always having to re-tie the slippers I finally just pulled the laces from the slippers and tossed 'em in the trash.

The bottom of the slippers are polished leather just like the top making a very slippery situation. There is no material on the bottom for traction. I really was shocked at how they were made; all style with no focus on practicality.

Comfortable and good looking, but slippery soles spoil the product. It would be very risky for me to walk with them No traction even on carpet. Tempted to return, but I will attach some traction material on the soles and see how that works.

My wife has bought me these slippers for probably over 15 years. Typically, they last me two years before the outer sole wears through. They were very warm, and because they were wool, I could wear them year-round to keep my feet warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I hated the leather shoe strings as they never stayed tied, but I would double-knot them, and it would hold for a few months. The thing I liked best about these slippers was the middle insoles that they used. After break in, they would form to your foot, which was especially good for me, having high arches and tender feet on the balls of my feet. The cushioning they provide to the balls of my feet was amazing, and I could wear them around the house with no issues at all. These slippers were worn every day of the year and even traveled with me. However, that is not the case now. I received a new pair for Christmas, 2025. I finally wore out the old pair about a month or more ago and started wearing the new slippers. Within a couple of weeks, I started feeling discomfort in the balls of both feet. Now, they are nearly unbearable to wear if wearing around the house to do anything more than walking from one room to another. Gone are the days of wearing them every day, all day, on weekends. With less than two months of use, they are no longer the amazing slippers of old. Not sure what LL Bean has done to reduce the quality of the slipper, but the comfort is now gone. Very disappointing, and I can no longer recommend them, knowing they are only good for warmth and not comfort.

I've worn my slippers in the house only since they arrived less than two months ago. Today I noticed the leather has split where top piece joins the side (see photo.) I'll wear them as long as I can, but for $130 these should have lasted much longer.

These ripped on the first day within hours of putting them on.

These slippers have lasted two months before the wool lining has started falling out. Come on L.L. Bean you used to be better than this. I purchased these on September 23. Today is November 28. What happened to the quality? You pay this much money for something you expect them to last.

The soles on the shoes are too slick. I attempted to go down stairs and as soon as I stepped on to the first step I slipped and slid all the way to the bottom. This has never happened before in my life.

Right foot is so stiff that i am in pain every time i wear them.

I gave these slippers to my husband on Christmas Day and four days later they started to rip on top where they were sewn. Had to be returned.

Stitching on one shoe by little toe made for painful/uncomfortable wear. The fleece lining not covering the sewn join of top and bottom.

My wife only wants this slipper in her size! Please bring this back to your inventory as you used to carry it in women's sizes.

Slippers are great in fit and style, but are very slick on carpet, had to catch myself going down stairs

Totally odd feeling.the shoes seemed constructed wrong. When I had them on and took steps, my feet kept pointing sidewards.
