These are fantastic slippers. I ordered them for my husband's birthday, and he loves them.

Nice and warm, fit well and getting more and more comfortable each day. The only complaint I have is I have to tie the lace on the left one every day or so.

Too pricey to give it 5 stars but does fit nicely after a couple weeks of wear. I had no problems with being too slippery and in fact are times when these soles prevent falls. If you tend to slide your feet when walking or are not that steady, the grip soles can catch and trip you. Hope no one has to worry about this but when I had drop foot these were perfect since sole would not catch when foot dropped....buy these if eve get drop foot (and realize there is surgery to repair that).

Excellent slippers, just wish they didn't have the decorative ties.

Overall, I like these slippers. They fit well and look sharp. One complaint - I wish they had a bit more cushioning.

Long lasting slipper. My 3rd pair. They last me 5 years and I wear about 9 months a year.

Nice and comfortable BUT the shoe laces keep getting untied no matter gif tight I make them .

Sizing appears to be a little small. Looks like it will forever. Just wish that I had gotten a size larger.

These are really nice slippers and my husband's 3rd pair. They last a long time but as the directions say, they need to be scuffed up a little before wearing. With the last 2 pairs he has slipped going down the carpeted stairs - even trying to be careful. If he hadn't been holding onto the railing, he could have had a serious fall. After they're scuffed a little, they are great and wear really well.

only wish that there were not faux leather showstrings

I've bought several Pairs of these and just love them. Even wear them for brief outside excursions as long as it's dry.

These slippers are very good, but not as nice as pairs I bought years ago.

Nothing wrong with the slipper except very slippery on rugs. I am exchanging for slipper with better traction.

Keep coming untied and are quite warm. So far I give them 4/5 definitely solid but could be improved.

The slippers are beautiful and plushly lined yet poorly cut. The fit and finish of this classic slipper is a major disappointment. I had wonderfully nostalgic memories of wearing thru a pair of single-soles several decades ago. The idea was that with the double-sole slippers I would be set for years to come. early on, I noticed that the slippers at my heels differed in height. The slippers were quite snug for a size 10. I wear the Bean Boots in size 10 and the fit is perfect. In the slipper, however the fit is both a bit too small and narrow. After a week or two of wear around the house, it appears that the right slipper leans in that direction.

Bought a used pair of these 22 years ago. Still usable but really needed a new pair. A little tight, but they said they would be until worn for awile. Exceptionally warm for cold nights. Excellent construction, will last forever. Well worth the money.

Love these slippers. They last a very long time 20 years.

They have fit great from day one. This is my first pair from LL Bean and will not be my last.

I'm going to preface this with the observation that these moccasins (my second pair after running into the two caveats noted below) are flat out the most comfortable slippers I've ever owned. Having said that, a prospective buyer needs to know two things. (1) If you skid your heels, get something else. You'll be lucky to get a year out of them before they wear thru at least 3 of the 4 layers of leather. (2) If you are a half size and follow Bean's recommendation to go to the next higher full size, spend the extra 10 bux and get the shearling lined mocs. The unlined ones will not stay on your feet if you move your feet around while sitting or get on your knees to play with the kids or pets. The shearling eliminates this slippage quite well.

Bought these for my son for Christmas - he loved them!! They fit great and so well-made plus he was excited about the double sole which would allow him to wear them outside of the house as well as in. Great feature! The shearling lining also makes them cozy for cold days. A perfect gift! Thanks L.L. Bean!!

The right slipper is cut and sown more uniformly / correctly aligned than the left ?

I have probably ordered 6 pair of these over the years. They're nice. But BEWARE. The bottoms are VERY slippery. If you are going down a flight of stairs, be careful! I'm aware Bean makes a different sole. Just a caution.

These slippers have very little friction on rugs which cover half our rooms. I am quite concerned about falling when these are on my feet. I probably ordered the wrong slippers. Instead I should have ordered the slippers which have a rubber outsole. I may order stick-on rubber outsoles to make these slippers usable.

These slipper are sooooo comfortable!! Im on my 4th pair, over the last 30 years. I wear them everywhere! They fit perfect. Ive tried both the Buffalo leather as well as the standard leather, both equally comfortable. GREAT PRODUCT!
