design is nice and looks good with different outfits. Found them to be waterproof but cold if not worn with heavy socks. Rough edges on rubber/top of boot is very uncomfortable and caused large irritation to lower leg after a day of wearing.

I bought these boots 4 months ago to wear while walking my dog. 3 months in I started to notice my foot feeling wet after walking in the rain or through puddles. I couldn't believe it when I realized the seams on the inside of the boot (external) were separated already. I could get past the fact that they have no airflow to them so my feet got very hot and sweaty and the part of the boot by the ankles duh into my skin but my feet getting wet from the integrity lacking does it for me. Wouldn't buy again :\

I really liked these boots. Unfortunately there appears to be some quality control issues in their manufacture. Like quite a few other purchasers my boots started to crack and were separating at the bond between the sole and body after only 3 years of seasonal use. Thank you to LL Bean for giving me a credit to use towards a different pair of boots. I can't recommend these.

I loved the look of these boots, and they were comfortable too. But the sole separated from the upper after a few months of use, so the construction seems flawed, and not up to LL Bean's standard.

due to my high instep, the boot was difficult to get on and then when I walked my foot slid around, I returned the boot and have not seen my credit posted to my card. Is there any way I can check on the status of the return??

The fit of the shoe portion is great. They do provide good protection and grip. The top of the boot in the back is very hard and cuts into the calf. First time wearing them caused cuts and bleeding on the back of the calves. I'm going to try applying an adhesive pad to the back of the top of the boot but it that doesn't work will have to return them.

Listen, I love these boots. They kept my feet nice and dry. But I had to return a pair because they split along the seam where the sole meets the boot. I returned them another pair, reading that that design flaw was fixed, and once again the boots have split along the seam after less than a year of inconsistent use. It's really frustrating.

I'm a senior and I almost put my back out trying these on. They look good and feel ok when they are on, but I can't wear them because they are too hard for me to pull on and off. (CS) I ordered them online and can't find my order number to return them.

Recently bought these as a birthday gift in May noticed the other day the soul of it is separating from the shoe, and the top has cracked in several places, no ankle support and runs large so I would recommend sizing down. I will say I like the tread on the shoe too bad it didn't stay attached.

I got these as a gift - so very cute. Well, at first. The robins egg blue was so precious I felt bad wearing them for dirty work.
I chalked how stiff they were to being new and structured, so no complaints when it was a little tough getting my foot in. They fit and my foot was comfortable.
Then I realized my ankles were getting sore from the opening of the boot cutting into me when bending/moving about. in writing this review after the third time wearing these - my mistake? Wearing short socks! I have welts around my ankles.

I bought these shoes when I worked for the company and after only two wear to work (not even out in the rain) the seam between the shoe and the rubber sole popped open. I tried to exchange them for a new pair and they never got my size back in stock.

Loved the style, fit, material, and features but super bummed they cracked within 1 year of wear. For LLbean, I'm disappointed about the quality, especially for the price.

I was so excited to receive these boots as a gift in early January. They served me faithfully in my outdoor walks in the slush, up until today (April 2). The seam has split where the sole attaches to the waterproof boot and so I found myself with very wet feet. I wish I could recommend this, but I'm going to have to exchange them or pay for someone to repair them because I don't see any repair option as part of their guarantee.

While I initially liked these boots, they began to fall apart after a few months. After a couple months, I started to notice some water was getting inside the boots. I looked them over and noticed some tears along the seems. This eventually led to larger tears, making the boots unwearable. Unfortunately, I had to throw them out just a few months after purchase.

I loved this boot until it separated from the sole. It is easy on/off, waterproof, warm and has great support for hiking. Sales person at store mentioned she has seen a lot of customers complain that they fall apart.

These boots went to Scotland (for a week) and back! They did great, very comfortable to walk in for hours the few times I wore them. Kept my feet warm while wearing a good pair of tall medium thickness soft socks.
Problems started when I came back to the states. I work on ky feet abd occasionally work outdoors during rainy weather and this summer in Boston we had our share. Unfortunately these boots did not keep up. I noticed after owning them for 3 months and wearing them no more than 15 times total, that my feet were wet. The cracks were along the seems, now I cannot wear them and going to make a return.

Really cute boots. Unfortunately, they are not waterproof. Bought for my daughter at college and after less than a month of wear, she says they leak where the sole and upper meet. Will be talking to customer service about a return.

These boots are very stiff and rub my legs. The shape of the boot definitely isn't the best for my feet. I haven't returned them because I got them dirty, but they'll definitely just sit in my closet until I can find someone to pawn them off on. Going back to the kids size all weather wellies.

I bought these a little over a year ago and loved them. Limited wear mostly winter and the left boot is cracked on the top and both have the material splitting along the sole. I'm disappointed. I expect more from LLBean.

I've had these and have only wore them 3 times due to the discomfort. I wanted to love them but couldn't tolerate them. Will be looking for another boot. I think I found one here!!

I love the look of these boots, but have now had two pairs split at the seams in under six months each.

They were just what I was looking for, but a nightmare to get on. Maybe I am supposed to wear thin slippery socks, but I live in Maine and wear regular warm socks. Nope and nope. The fit is perfect and great in mud and so comfortable, but I need to get out with my dog and not spend five good minutes tugging and tugging to get them on. I cut the elastic on all four sides. I guess it was just my problem because I didn't see any other reviews with this issue. I guess my hands are shot and not working as well as others. Wished I had sent them back, but didn't..kept thinking the elastic would stretch a bit. So disappointed. They have great grippy treads. Oh well.

The boots were comfortable and the perfect jodhpur style that I was looking for; however, the seam between the sole and the upper ripped after only a month of light wear and I had to return them as defective.

I have enjoyed wearing these boots, but this morning the back pull tab came off of my right boot. Because I have had them for a year and a half I can't return them.

I had really high hopes for these boots. Right off the bat there wasn't a very big toe box, which I could live with. But I could not live with the boot cracking and the seems coming apart after 3 weeks of wear. I put a lot of work related use into them but still, very disappointing.
