Sturdy boots! I wanted something for messy days around the house or errands in town, and these will fit the bill. The fit is a little tight around the ankles, but otherwise fine. They are clearly not meant for a lot of walking, but will be fine for keeping my feet dry.

These are cute, waterproof and comfortable once they are on. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because they are a bit challenging to get on and off - or at least much more so than my lined winter Bean boots. It's a big convenience when you can throw your boots on fast to grab the paper from the lawn or run out to the mailbox. But I like the way they look and they keep my feet dry.

Thought I would take them to Alaska. They are heavyweighed too much. Otherwise, nice boots! Fashionable, well made, comfortable. Not for this trip.

Ordered 8, then, changed to 9. It is hard to put on and take off. Other than that, they are functional and comfortable.

Would have given these a five star, thought that I had found the perfect shoe to slip on and go anywhere. Works well for beach walks and creek crossing, looks good for around town. But the downfall is that I cannot walk on my gravel driveway or dirt trails without the soles gathering rocks and making the walk uncomfortable and tracking rocks into the house.
Shoes were comfortable right away as compared to the popular leather shoes that they look like, were not, and I am appreciative that I can have the fashionable look without using animal skin.
I wear a 7.5 in many shoes, but the 7 in these is large enough to wear a fairly thick sock with these.

I normally wear size 10 or 10.5 - I ordered size 11, because I plan to wear socks with them. Good thing I ordered up. They fit fine with medium weight socks. I had a very hard time getting them on my feet. I needed to use a shoe horn or I would never have gotten them on! I have not tried taking them off on my own yet. Once on my feet, I am pleased. They are comfy and look nice! I have decided to keep them since I will have need of some good outdoor walking boots - they will be perfect if it is wet and muddy!

I find it interesting that we have the option of reviewing a product as "True to Size" when there is no such thing as a standard size anymore. I can wear anything from a 5 to a 7, no matter from which retailer I order, including LLBEAN. I need a wide shoe, but these are perfect at a 7B.

I purchased these boots a few years ago and really like them got the same boot in the same size and they were much too narrow did not fit me at all. Not sure why you change the design.

Nice fit on these boots. However, they did now hold up under daily use on a farm

They weren't the quality of shoe I had hoped for, especially for the price. I read through more reviews and after more consideration returned them. I liked the shape and style but was worried they would t hold up.

I was primarily looking for waterproof boots to wear to the barn to feed animals, but I found them too difficult to get on. I normally wear a medium size 8, but these were a struggle. I'm returning for a different style as I don't want to use that much effort each time I wear them.

I have been looking for a boot that I can wear to the park very early in the morning with my dogs. The grass is usually very damp and having wet feet is a pet-peeve of mine. The search for water-proof shoes has been arduous. Many hiking and outdoor boots have failed so I tried these wellies. They kept my feet perfectly dry for about one week and then water got in and the interior sole stayed wet for a few days. These are very cute boots and they would likely do a wonderful job if I only wore them to run errands on rainy days, but they can't hold up over time in heavily damp fields.

I bought these in December of 2023 and by Sept. 2024 they started to separate at the bottom. I LOVED these boots so much & would wear them a lot but I wish the quality was better. They are sooo comfortable compared to others that I've owned but really wish they would've lasted longer, especially being L.L bean brand. I'm debating on buying another pair or trying something different. I just hate knowing that they will probably do the same thing. The tread is the bottom is still in perfect condition so I feel like they could have so much more life left if they wouldn't have torn.

I was hoping to use these to quickly slip on and take the dog outside, but I have to sit and use a hand and tug to get the boot on. And socks make it impossible. But they have good tread and keep my feet dry so I will keep them.

They are okay. I should have thought that black boots would be hot, I didn't anticipate how hot they would be in the sun. Wish I purchased a lighter color. Even when I try to shake or smack the mud off, the dirt gets lodged in the crevices and I track dirt everywhere.

I initially bought these rain boots for comfort and style. I only wore it twice before it broke (where my foot bends and from the inseam on the side). Luckily, I was able to return it and got the exact same pair. So far it's holding up. I wore it during some moderate rain and my feet were dry. Moreover, it's versatile to wear to work and on casual days and comfortable to walk in. Where other rain boots are stiff and trap heat within the boot, this keeps the rain out but your feet rather cool. I would suggest wearing long socks as the rim of the top boot did cut my shins a bit. I like the cloth that helps pull the boot and foot in place - great functionality. Boot is true to size.

Had these boots less than one year (two seasons of regular wear total) & they're coming apart where the rubber meets the sole. Incredibly disappointed as I expected better durability & quality from LL Bean.

Love the boots once they're on my feet but they are very hard to pull on. I am a fit person but there is so much tugging to get these boots on.

I really like these boots! Unfortunately, I had to replace the first pair I bought after only a couple years of mild wear as the side of one boot split along a seam. I bought a second pair last month and after only a few weeks the back loop strap of one of the boots came off as I was using it to get the boot on my foot. Bummer! I do wish they held together better. When I buy LLBean products, I expect high quality. I'm still wearing my current pair of boots, but I admit, I am disappointed.

Really liked the color and overall look of these boots; however, they were difficult to put on due to the stiffness of the upper material. I think a "sock" liner at top of boot would help with this.
The right boot was also a little snug in the toe area.

The bootie's rubber shoe design was hard to get on. It was also a slightly narrow fit for my medium foot even with thin socks.

Had these for 6 months and they were awesome. Then the boot started falling apart. Sent them back for new pair. Just received and the boot material is NOT the same. Exact same look but rubber feels very weak and looks streaky. Even after wiping down.

I bought these to wear while working in the garden and walking the dog. They are decent boots, but my biggest issue is that the tread has big gaps and stuff gets stuck in them. Mud gets caked in there if you do not wash them immediately after wearing. The worst is that gravel is constantly getting wedged in the tread and I have to pluck it out. This issue isn't big enough for me to return or stop wearing them, but I wouldn't recommend them.

These run a bit big. Look very nice but get dirty and look worn after a few times wearing them.
