I purchased these booties because I like the style when it is colder because they keep drafts off my ankles. These are comfortable for the most part; however, they could use more toe room. I dislike slippers that crowd my toes or need a tad more length inside, so your big toe isn't smashed at the front. After a lifetime of wearing women's shoes made on inadequate lasts, I find a half size up from my 8.5 feet works best and even sometimes a wide size to get adequate room. I ordered the 9 M which puts my big toe right at the end of the toe area. These slippers are warm and soft with an outer sole that can take the outdoors even if it is somewhat wet.

These slippers are warm and sturdy. However they are a bit stiff feeling on my feet and therefore not as soft and cozy as I would like.

Very nice slipper. Wanted so much for it to work. Very tight in the instep. Every step hurt. The elastic or grip fabric on the instep just too tight for my feet. Had to return.

I appreciate how warm and sturdy these slippers are. I have previously purchased cheaper slippers which wore out after a year or two, but I expect these to last much longer. They're almost too warm at times. When I wear them I feel almost like I'm wearing shoes, though very comfortable shoes. Because of this, I accidentally wore them on a half-mile walk to a neighbor's house and didn't notice till halfway there. But it was a very cold night and they're warmer than my shoes, so this was probably a good thing. My main complaint is that I wish they had more natural materials, but that might put them out of my price range.

Very comfortable- almost too warm! Color shows everything unfortunately so they look a little grimy after a couple weeks. Nervous to put in washer.

My wife usually wears a size 9; however these are too tight. I am returning them for the next size. She loved them!

Comfortable slippers but because of the polyester fleece (and not genuine fleece like my other llbean slippers were), after wearing only a couple of times, they have an "undesirable odor". I never had this issue with my other slippers as I've never had an issue with sweaty/stinky feet but synthetic linings create odor. I don't even really want to wear them anymore because of this. I just feel bad because my husband spent quite a bit of money on them for me as a Christmas gift. He assumed they were genuine fleece because they were llbean (and expensive for slippers)Other than that, they are fine.

I have a narrow foot and have a hard time finding slippers (or shoes) that do not slip off. These fit nice (I'm a 8.5 in a sneaker and purchased a 9). They are a bit big, but fit nice with a thin sock. Sole is very firm, but comfortable

Cute and perfect for northerners as they are extremely warm! A bit too hot for NC weather. I'll stick to my wicked good slippers except on really cold days.

GOOD BUT A LITTLE STIFF SO THEY WILL TAKE A WHILE TO BREAK IN!

I wore my last pair for 5 yrs. before they died! I wear an 8/12 shoe and ordered 9 nine as I did pastime. They seem to be shorter than my old ones and almost crunch my toes a bit. Did you change sizing?

Great slippers, they run small though! I had to go up a half size for them to fit, and they're still just a tiny bit tight. If you plan on wearing them with thick socks, you may want to go up a whole size. They hug the ankles which makes them stay on well. The sole is better than I expected. You could wear them outside without ruining them if you really wanted to.

Excellent slippers once you break them in. They're snug at the top and you can't easily insert your foot until you wear them awhile. I bought the same pair over a year ago and they pass the test of time. (I simply wanted a second pair to place in another location in the house.) I even wear them outdoors on my patio and walk around the yard watering plants with these on. They are well-made and both sturdy and comfy.

Really cozy. I got them to wear without socks. Fit perfectly.

This pair are tighter in Back then my other pair causing red mark on back of my ankle otherwise I love them

This is the perfect slipper/run-to-the-store shoe/dog walking shoe, BUT was so bummed because it feels short/tight in length. I am a true size 9 and wear them barefoot. I thought they might stretch out a bit after wearing awhile, but sadly, each time I slip my feet into them, I cringe. I cannot (in all honesty) send them back as I've worn them a bit, but I'm not happy. They are so phenomenal in all other ways. I'm considering ordering them in a larger size, but that would mean going up a full size (since they don't come in 1/2 sizes) so if they didn't work, it would be a hassle. Really great, warm, secure slippers except for this caveat.

Love the slippers Ive had them for one year, at about nine months they started smelling , Ive had to stop wearing them because they smell so bad inside, Ive always heard that it is the glue inside of a shoe that makes a a shoe smell,, they are good except for the very bad smell

I have been a loyal LL Bean shopper for decades. Have never returned an item but I returned these slippers. They were incredibly uncomfortable. There is an inside band that goes around your heel that was awful.

I love these slippers! They have a sturdy sole, and they are oh so comfortable!

These slippers looked so cute; however, they are rather bulky. The right slipper has a defect in the arch making them really uncomfortable; however, I was told by customer service that I am unable to return because I threw away the box. I wanted a comfy pair of winter slippers and I am still searching.

These are so comfortable. I have achy feet from arthritis, but these provide enough support while not being tight, that I wear them all day long when working from home.
