Love these boots they fit well. Usually wear size 8 ordered larger size to use bulky socks. My feet are warm and dry lots of ankle support while pruning fruit trees and gardening in rainy wet weather.

Found these boots to be just as advertised. They are waterproof and warm even with a medium sock.. Would highly recommend. Bean you have made a great product, thank you.

I originally bought size 8-1/2 but decided they would be too tight with heavy socks. So I exchanged them for size 9 which fit perfectly (so I thought). I wore them with heavy socks for one hour but the right boot rubbed against my inner ankle and started a blister. I'm so sorry because I really liked the boots.

These boots are exceptional. I find them both comfortable and warm, and they have far exceeded my expectations. I'd highly recommend them.

I was looking for a lightweight , warm, attractive and comfortable boot for walking and being outside on recess duty each day. After trying four different boots, this is the one I settled on and I am very happy with my selection. These meet all four criteria. I also want to give a shout out to the customer service dept for helping me make this selection.

I had $ 70.00 in bean bucks, a still swell pair of 17 year old muck boots ,and saw these boots.first pair of boots from llbean, first pair of above the ankle waterproof boots in a very very L. O. N. G. time.you can use thick socks or thin socks or both together and still a comfy fit.kind day.

They are great for winter activity's. My new favorite shoe.

I often use these boots with added grippers strapped on for walking on ice. The boots are easy on/easy off. I'll keep them by the door all winter.

I love these boots! There was no breaking in period, they are super comfortable, easy on and off and warm enough for hiking down to 20 degrees with wool socks. Excellent quality.

These are great! At first, they were a bit diffucult to put on, I guess they were just very stiff when brand new, but that corrected after a few wears. Now they go on and off easy, so comfortable and warm. The fit is right, not too much room in the toes. They look like they will last forever. In very wet and muddy conditions my socks stayed dry! Definitely value for the price. Just perfect.

Love these boots. The run big. Im an 8 and the 7.5 fit well with boot socks on.

I teach middle school, and due to the pandemic, it's all outside. All day, every day, rain or shine. I live in these boots (and my lined llbean jeans). They keep me warm and dry :)

I bought these for Chicago weather (which can be rain, sleet, and snow all in the same day). They look great, are great quality and feel very sturdy. In terms of fit, I ordered a size 10 because boots typically run a little snug, however, I could have done with a 9.5. I'm not too concerned as the 10 allows me to wear thick socks. They are a little stiff but this could be because they are brand new, either way not a dealbreaker. Long story short, I love them and definitely recommend

I was looking for a good snow boot that is waterproof, slip on (no laces), lightweight, grippy, and comfortable. This fits the bill! Tested in today's Nor'easter-- no slipping and I didn't have to think about my feet staying warm while walking or shoveling. I also find the soles of these boots more comfortable and stable than the duck boots, where the heel makes me feel off balance. No need to order a 1/2 size up to fit with thicker socks. The one thing to note is that the sherpa lining shows more than is pictured. I don't mind it, but just something to note.

I ordered a pair of the 2-tone brown ones and they were received last week. Although I have only tried them on with a thin-medium sock walking around the house, I got a pair of size 8, which is what I normally wear and they seem to fit just fine. I never wear thick socks...if I wear socks at all ! They seem very comfortable... I am moving back east from the west coast so I knew I needed boots for the snow. Guess an update will be in order once relocated when I walk around in that cold, soft white stuff !

These boots arrived shortly before our first snowfall which was very heavy. The boots are a perfect fit and keep my feet comfortably warm and dry for long walks and even while outside for 2-3 hours with the weather in the upper 20s/low 30s. Im sure my feet will be toasty in even colder temps.

Everything about these boots is 100% satisfaction. They fit true to size, very comfortable and warm. They are easy to walk in snow, wet or slick pavement, and comfortable driving. I like the zippers, keeps snug on ankles but not tight, easy on and off. The quality is top notch LL Bean. These are my all-time favorite boots for Minnesota winters.

I usually wear size 9. I tried it on in the store and found 8.5 fit best. I purchased the boot for a trip to Toronto during freezing weather In November and New York in December. We were outdoors and walked all around both cities over several days. I wore two pair of wool socks and my feet were warm and toasty with plenty of toe room. The boot fit like a comfortable walking shoe. I liked the side zip for easy on and off. I was surprised it provided great support without a need to "break it in". I loved the boot so much that I wanted to purchase a second pair only to find the black was out of stock. I brought another pair of shoes on the first trip but didn't need to since I wore the boots for 12-14 hours a day. The boot also looks great with any winter wear. Wish the black boot was available.
