Very warm and comfortable. Hopefully this version will last as the insides seem wear out quickly. Usually this happens after 2-3 years of use ?

The size 9 fits my 8 1/2 wide feet just fine. I like the stiff, non-skid sole. Only thing keeping this from a 5 star rating is the product tag sewn in the instep area - uncomfortable and a difficult place to safely remove without damaging the fabric.

The sad part that it was too big in the heal. I do have a narrow foot but I thought because it is a moccasin that it would fit. Sad! Well made slipper and loved the style.

Don't like that the plaid doesn't match - big time- on both slippers. It's almost as if one slipper was put with another pair. I didn't notice at first and was wearing them so didn't return. Plus I had discarded all the material for returning. Wasn't expecting this from LL Bean....

I bought these for my wife as her and I, both needed new LL Bean slippers. I have tried other slippers and none hold up anywhere as well as LL Bean. Any way She needed a new pair and after opening the box for Christmas she was ecstatic .. They look great on her and she loves them. The plaid goes real well with the new home.

I am a size 10/12 shoe, sometimes an 11. I ordered the 11 first--way too big. Then I ordered the 10--also too big, my heel was slipping out of the back when I walked. I tried the 9 in store, and that was too tight. I was sorely disappointed. These run very large, one full size I would say, and because there are no half sizes, I was out of luck. Cute slipper though. Please consider making half sizes....

Things I love about these slippers: They look cute. The sheepskin lining is warm and comfortable. They have a rubber sole on them so I can go outside to get the mail or the garbage can without worrying if there's a little dampness on my driveway. Things I don't love about them: The bows will not stay tied. (I work from home, so I often wear my slippers all day, during which time I have to tie them a couple of times at least.) I wear a narrow-width shoe, especially on my heels, so they're a little looser on my feet than I'd prefer. If they didn't have that plush sheepskin lining and were not as flexible as they are, they would undoubtedly slip off my heels when I walk and give me blisters.

a little narrow at the toe area assume they will stretch a little with wear.

These are nice and warm and fit well. But there is a problem with the leather ties They simply will NOT stay tied. They even come undone sometimes within a few steps of being tied So far it's been ok, but I do think this is a safety hazard as it would be easy to be tripped up by accidentally stepping on an untied tie. I am always nervous when wearing them and always looking down to see if they've come undone.

first the pros ~ these slippers will keep your toes toasty, mine are cold all winter and these do the trick ~ padding is full and cushy ~ plaid is a beautiful color and saturated~ these are very comfy to wear Cons~ the tags are in the most awkward place and not easy to remove makes it uncomfortable to wear~ if you are looking for your slippers to match go with a solid color, my plaids are not horrible but definitely don't match up~ sizing is absolutely full size, if you are a half size you're probably out of luck with this one.

I love these super comfortable slippers. They're soft and warm and fit well, but I have to retie them every single day! Those leather laces just do not stay tied. I've double tied them, I've knotted them, and I've even sewed them together, to no avail. Those ties simply need to be replaced with something that stays tied. It really ruins the slipper for me.

This is a very attractive slipper and so very comfortable! The plaid is festive and the trim is perfect. The only thing I didn't care for was the lace on each slipper. No matter how I tied it it just kept coming undone every time. So I took it off and now they're perfect! A few eyelet holes show if you look very hard, but I don't mind. But I'd suggest they just skip the laces.

For $79 slippers, I thought they would be a lot more padded. I ordered the Royal Stewart - the inside is soft and fluffy shearling lamb fur, but there is not much padding in the sole of the slipper. It was wide on my foot, so I just tightened the leather lace and that helped. I actually waited nine months to order these! I tried in November 2019 for Christmas 2019 and they were sold out, checked in August 2020 and they were back in stock!

This is my 1st pair of LL Bean slippers. I normally wear an 8 in shoes but when my size 8 slippers arrived, my toe was pushed uncomfortably into the front of the slipper. I exchanged them for a size 9 instead but the 9 is about half a size too big so my heel will sometimes slip off when I'm walking. Thus far, I wear them with socks to pad the extra room. I wish they offered half sizes and I wish they supplied more of the popular colors to meet demand.

These are warm and cozy and look great- but the ties need to be revamped. They don't stay tied and it drives me crazy! I ended up snipping them- which is frustrating for an expensive loafer.

I got these last year for Christmas and love them. I barely wore them and the stitching is coming undone! Very surprised because the first pair I owned, and still have, are almost perfect! I really just liked the new pattern. So disappointing!

I love the slippers wish it was made also in half sizes the fur takes more space so it makes the slippers fit a little too small.

After giving to my grand daughter on Christmas eve, I was sadly notified that the toe of the right slipper is not attached to the rubber bottom. I will need to order another pair, probably pay full price because they are no longer on sale, and wait until they are back in stock in February to receive and send back defective pair. :( Have a pair in the red and I absolutely love them, so would still recommend them to a friend.

I had a blue size 9 pair of these that were way too big, too wide, and my feet were cold. I got a new plaid pair in size 8 - they are short, squeeze my toes, and pull my socks down into my slippers in a maddening way - and my feet are still cold. Should have tried a different style! They look nice, but looking nice isn't the point of sheepskin slippers.

I reluctantly must return these slippers to LL Bean. I need narrow width slippers, and cannot find them in any catalog (and I receive many). It is frustrating that house slippers seem to be made only in medium to wide widths. This means they will not stay on my feet and therefore are a real hazard to falls. I am at my wit's end. Fortunately, LL Bean accepts returns without extra cost for postage. Postscript: my husband wears D width shoes. The slippers I gave him for his birthday fit perfectly!

After reading the reviews I ordered my size, 7, and should have gone with the LLB recommendation and ordered a size up. Originally I was hoping that when the fluff flattened out they would fit perfect but unfortunately they were just too small. I was also frustrated that the leather tie was always untied. I wish LLB would use cloth ties to embellish their footwear. This has been a problem on all my LLB leather tie footwear! I did return my slippers. I wanted to exchange them but they were out of stock in size 8. I do plan on repurchasing them when in stock.

It's hard to tie these in a way that they STAYED tied. That being said they are comfortable. I wish they stayed as soft and cushioned as when they are new. I bought these in December and they are pretty tamped down already. This tamp down issue is why a size smaller because if I buy the size that fits the day I try them on, they'll be too big and sloppy once they get schmushed. But until they come up with a magic shearling, this is just the way it goes. I bought the Gray Stewart slippers but tried on the red plaid and black watch as well. All three are very cute.

My left foot is larger than my right. I usually wear an 11W, but an 11 in this slipper was too loose. Fortunately a 10, while a bit uncomfortably snug on the left initially, has broken in perfectly.
