slippers fell apart starting at the soles of the slippers. Only worn inside and not wet from weather. Very disappointed.

Sadly, I returned these slippers. Loved the color and fabric. Didn't like the platform feel or the smooth inside. My foot kept slipping and didn't feel stable.

I always wear an 8, bought an 8. Way too tight over the top of my foot. Hope they stretch out!!

I really wanted to like these slippers, but the insole is so hard, it really hurt my feet. They should make the insole out of memory foam instead of the white plastic they currently use. I returned them.

It was a gift that will be returned. The edge causes her foot to slip and almost fall when her foot slips to the edge.

Unlike the picture, in real life these slippers are shapeless, wide and cheap. I wear between a 7.5 and 8. I purchased the 8 in case I'd be wearing socks. They were "floppy" wide, and loose - insuring you walk right out of them. They were marketed as if they offered cushioning and support. The "support" looked like a piece of cardboard covered in thin flannel. One can guess where these were made. They are not worthy of the L.L.Bean brand. I immediately sent them back.

I wear 9 or 9-1/2. Many reviews said "true to size" or "too large," so I ordered 9 and rather than going up to 10. They are too small. By the time I jam my foot all the way in, in order to fit my heel within the back and not just stand on the back and crush it down, the arch ends up in the wrong place relative to my foot; it's as if the arch is under part of my heel. And yet, my heel slips right out of the back part as soon as I take a step. With the next step, I'm crushing the back part again, I guess because my whole foot was jammed too far in and is trying to slip out. Will have to return, and continue the probably hopeless search for a worthy replacement of my old scuffs, which are so ancient and disintegrating, I can't even find a tag that says where I got them; soft terry with a criss-cross pattern on the outside and comfortable lining inside, true to size at 9, welt construction, and no arch sticking up in the wrong place.

I know this is a slipper, but for the price, I thought it would have more support. I also felt the sizing was off. I followed the suggestion for 1/2 sizes to size up, so I initially ordered a size 8. That was way too big. Because it was so big, I didn't notice the other fit/support issues at that time. I exchanged these for a size 7 and it was still too lose - perhaps this was just a width problem. There is no arch support and the insole felt very squishy, for lack of a better term. It actually felt like my heel was lower than my toes. So, these were definitely not for me. I returned them.

I have bought these many times in the past. I always liked them.
These were poorly constructed, mis sized and quite uncomfortable. The cushioning made my calves hurt.

Returned these. Ordered 2 different sizes. Odd placement of the back of the slipper. Expensive for such a horrible fit.

For several years I have purchased these slippers and love them. I ordered some several months ago and discovered they had changed. They do not have the same insole and the fit is wider and longer. I reordered hoping they had gone back to the style I like. They did not. I hope management of LLBean reads this review and considers returning to their original style.

If I could give these slippers a minus zero, I would...there's no truthful way to indicate HOW DID IT FIT?...heel flops off foot, front of slipper wrinkles terribly and sole feels as if it's made from cement. I can't return these fast enough.

I bought a pair of slippers that looked like these about a year ago and they fit perfectly and were very comfortable. They looked like they were made of good quality; however, a year later they are falling apart. I think that for the price, it wasn't a good deal. I've bought cheaper slippers from other companies in the past that have lasted for two to three times longer than the LL Bean slippers I had purchased about a year ago.

I have previously ordered the sweater fleece slippers and loved them. The ones I received this time are way too large and seem to be cheaply made. They were also $10 higher than in the past. I have always loved my LL Bean products but these shoes are really bad and I will not order them again.

Once a year i get a new pair of slippers from LLBean. I have worn this type of slipper from LLBean for many years every year they make slight changes to this slipper. This years change is not good. They are stiff and also have a insert that is glued in. NOT happy with this change. These slippers are definitely not worth the price. I am super disappointed this year! I will be returning them.

I have been wearing the fleece slippers, then later the sweater fleece slippers for around 15 years. Countless pairs over the years. The last sweater fleece slippers fit a size too small, and I ordered up a size in these as I did in the last version. These "scuffs" were too big, too wide (surprising since I have a wide foot) and had no support. The soles were thin, and certainly not the same durability as previous versions. I have bought a similar pair of slippers from a different store, specifically for travel, since they were light and only to be worn infrequently. The price point for those was $30 less than these. I will be returning these. Terribly disappointed with the quality of these slippers.

I have worn the Sweater Fleece Slippers, size 6, for many years. They were my favorite shoe to wear around my house and I bought a new pair every time my old ones wore out. I was concerned when I saw that they had been "new & improved" since they were already perfect. I ordered the new style and it is a full size too large. I compared the old style to the new shoe and you can see an obvious difference. My question is, how can they both be size 6 if they're two different lengths? To make matters worse, there is no size 5 so I can't exchange them for another pair. I wrote to complain and an automated response was immediately sent back to me thanking me for my email. I've heard nothing since. I will mail these back at my own cost but LLBean can be assured that I will never waste another dollar on their products. Thanks to the person who decided to redesign them. Good call.

I bought a 9 for my wife as that is her actual size. The 9 was much too large so I returned and ordered an 8 as you do not carry half sizes. The 8 was too small so I am returning that. I am paying shipping both ways, on two pair of slippers, neither is the correct size. So I have around $25.00 in shipping, and no slippers. Bad Deal!

These slippers are very warm. The issue is, if your feet at all sweat when warm, the fabric absorbs the moisture and the slippers SMELL VERY BAD. The slippers also retain that moisture and padding is worn down. Very disappointed with this purchase.
