I got these for my wife, the 2nd pair she has owned, but they were way to big for her. She ordered them in the same size as the first pair but she can't wear them, she falls down in them.

They should have left the old slipper scuff style alone. They were boxier, but the slippers fit great and stayed on your feet when you walked. This narrow style doesn't work for me, and my heels slip out of the back when I walk. Please don't mess with perfectly good styles!

Very uncomfortable. Tried two different sizes. Both got returned.

Returned my slippers since they were too big and too wide. I'm and 8 1/2, so I ordered the 9 and then 8. Quality and color looked good, but for my average width feet the slippers were too big.

Run small and tight around the arch of my foot. I won't be returning for a larger size due to the fact that they aren't very comfortable even if they did fit better.

worst slipper I have ever had. Always buy my slippers from ll bean but these make my feet sweat so much I can not wear them for very long.

I bought a size down after reading many reviews saying the slipper ran a good size too big -- not a good choice, because the ones I got were definitely too small! It was annoying therefore to have to pay for the return shipping. I did not get a replacement because I also didn't like the general feel of the scuff: it sounded like something you could slip on but it wasn't at all comfortable on the heel, either actually pulled on or just slipped on. I think returns should be free in this case.

I'm a size 7 but first bought the size 8 because the site says it runs small. Size 8 was HUGE, so I returned it and ordered a size 7. Well, I couldn't even put it on my feet half way in. So I returned it too.
A couple yrs ago I bought a different slipper which I loved, but it seems it's been discontinued. Why do they do that? When you finally find a shoe that is comfortable, they go and discontinue it.
I'm SO frustrated, aggravated. L.L.Bean shoes and slippers are so expensive.

Returned right away. Not at all comfortable. Sole was weird and didn't offer support and the lip in back was uncomfortable too. I wish they had the old fleece scuffs.

I have purchased these slippers for several years and they have been outstanding. The most recent pair as of Fall 2020, fit and manufacturer were different. The toe box was narrow and the support and material of the slipper was cheaper. This is very disappointing.

The sole is so slippery and does not have good traction. The scuffs from years ago were much better.

I really wanted to be thrilled with these, but I found them so painful after a day around the house. The soles are very sturdy and thick but inflexible, leaving me with heel pain and soreness in both arches. I'm hoping to return.

This slipper has two shortcomings. It is not made for women who have narrow width feet and the heel is too short to stay up on the foot. Bean used to have a slipper that had a higher heel and was a little narrower. Regrettably, that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

I had bought these about 5 years ago and needed a new pair. I loved them for around the house and slipping my feet in and out. Unfortunately the styling has changed and they were more narrow and tight overall. They were not comfy and cozy so I sent them back.

Although the slipper is comfortable to wear, the footbed is not removable for washing and the material it is made of produces a very unpleasant odor.

These are not very comfortable. The inside is very hard, no flex at all. I have purchase other LL Bean slippers and these are not good. The only reason they got two stars is because they look good.

I've usually been very pleased with the things I order from L.L.Bean, but these slippers disappointed. The are much too tight across the top of the foot, making them difficult to put on, and uncomfortable to wear. I even ordered returned them for a size larger, and the same problem persisted. These look nice online and in the catalogue, but they certainly aren't worth $50.

They seem comfortable, but the size can't be right. I always order a size 7, and with these I have at least a full inch or more in length. I'm afraid they are marked wrong and if I send back for a smaller size, I'll get a pair too small.

I ordered a size up since I'm a half size and they were way too long. I then ordered a size down and they were not only short, but the end of the toe box on top was so tight it cut off my circulation. These slippers are not worth $50.

I ordered these slippers because the ones I'd had for a couple of years were no longer being made in woman's sizes. This slipper has memory foam and feels good the 1st 45 min or so I wear them then become painful to wear- like something has bunched up.
I kept wearing my old llbean scuffs until they got so worn I threw them out then tried wearing these again- still uncomfortable. I'll have to find something else.

Bought this type of slipper in past but this particular slipper is no where near as soft or cushiony. The insole feels like a hard piece of cardboard. Quite disappointed in this slipper scuff. Would not purchase again or recommend.

I am a true 8.5 in every shoe, I ordered the 8, figuring it would be perfect based on other reviews. NOPE! With socks on, my foot slid right out, I could not believe how large they were. Now I have to go to a store, about 15 minutes away or waste the $6.50 to return, because the sizing is off, very disappointed in this policy.

I have bought my slippers from LL Bean for a long time. I find each pair just a little bit shoddier, cheaper made, less able to last. This pair is the worst. they feel uncomfortable, cheaply made for the price. Very disappointed.
